I think you got it fundamentally wrong about FIRE. All my life I wanted to achieve FIRE. Now I am 40, I kind of already achieved it as per my calculation. I have a loan free home where I stay, other rental properties and a corpus that can easily fund my expenses. However, I still work like I used to before. I think any sane person would not stop working at 35 or 40. However, I worry much less about loosing my job, getting hike or promotion or what my manager thinks. I know I can take up a different role or job or freelance or work for non profit or do something else without worrying money. That gives me immense mental peace. The irony is I got more career and salary growth after I achieved FIRE.
you always talk from a different perspective. which is very good for everyone, since we get the overall picture instead of blindly following what is given to us.
9:35 Things that could define my routine after retiring early- 1. Being a gaming addict degenerate all day long without guilt. 2. Being a social worker (fulfilling job which pays like shit) 3. Becoming a therapist (passion job which pays like shit) 4. Doing a 3 hour job, and spend the rest of the day in self-improvement of different kinds These are just off the top of my head. Each of these could define a whole routine on their own.
I have been watching this series for a long time and this episode is my most favourite one now. This literally gave me the goosebumps imagining the childhood (the pen reference, we used to have ink with wooden pen). I'm also trying to achieve this fire number but recent market sentiments aren't going in a good direction 😅 Great video, top quality as always. 🙌
I usually don’t like a video or drop a comment, but something about this video is just right and it hit me to write this comment. Keep up the good work!
Ekdum to the point and more realistic view of FIRE 🔥 I also always felt that these numbers looks good on excel and not in real life as life is unpredictable.
Interesting video, and very valid points. The beauty of life is enjoying your mundane moments and having a purpose. Having something to look forward to or some tasks to do. Very philosophical, yes, but it is true!
Yup really great line of real life being monotony of Routine ....this has been by far the best video ....i love the ideas that make us think and visualise our pursuit of Iife with shift in perspective 👍
I'm 24 and I entered in stock market in 2019 now I have some lakhs meine kuchh khaas to nahi kamaya stock market se kyoki meine stocks to sare achhe liye par entry time galat ho gya to past 1.5 years se earning se jaida learning par focus Kiya and now I kind of know ki kab entry Leni hai aur jo 2024 mein meine kuchh stocks liya hu unme se kuchh kafi behtreen returns diye hai and my fire number is 2cr. Thanks 🙏 to creators like you meine kafi kuchh sikha.
Dropping a truth bomb no wants to retire early we just want to escape from daily 1-2 hours traveling, traffic, toxic managers, clients calling after working hours and office politics colleagues! ;)
By retiring one would be spared of all this nonsense, it is understood that everybody who wants to retire early wants to get rid of one or more of the harassments you rightly pointed out
I think FIRE is a good thing to pursue if you don't actually want to retire. Instead, you can quit your boring, monotonous job and do something exciting with less or no rigid working hours. "Intern" is a good movie that shows the pitfalls of retirement.
Wait a minute, Get it how you live it…🔥😂🔥… The Lifestyle Inflation Chart is eye opener…😍…And having the Antilist or Unexpected Events is really good (although the list items were good). Current generation wants to retire early but what after that…??? I personally know 2 3 people who even after retirement from their govt job are now working or open some job and the answer is that they dont want to just sit and relax, i personally believe that our current life system is depend on doing something, so one should work atleast 55 years and save more spend less. 😬
In ipo allotment money imp or pan no..,person1 gave money to person2,the ipo is allotted to person2.What is percent amount should person2 take from the profit
Thanks for the video, it was quite informative. I was just looking at the excel sheet and sorry I didn't understand how is the corpus amount reducing when the withdrawal rate is increasing? for example when I changed it from 5% to 6%, corpus changed from 2.5Cr to 2cr and eventully the corpus at 77 is also different.
@Zero1byZerodha there is no exact answer about the question. Hitting the mark will be gradual. In my opinion if I had hit 3 crore mark then I will have expertise and managing or producing what I am doing today. Make sense?
FIRE achiever what is your post retirement looks like, I go on each show on youtube and flex that i achieved my FIRE number. my god what a life. Random noob me without any FIRE last year was in switzerland this year was in Finland next year will be in Iceland 😉.
Financial independence is a nonsense thing in my perspective, We all have a purpose of life, I mean if you have everything in your hand and nothing to do, Sooner the life is going to get bored, look at our country politicians and other veteran professional for instance the late lawyer ram jethmalani who lived for 94 years i mean he would have taken up his retirement even a decades before he died, He had everything but he did'nt do that, Man is always meant to move around and do something
You're right, clickbait grabs attention, but I’d rather build a genuine audience who’s actually interested. It might be a slower path, but it’s more meaningful in the long run. 😊
A lot of Idiots idolising these fintech influencers who themselves are earning for their retirement using these videos or trainings ! Good on you for creating this awareness !!
"Real life is in the monotony of routine".. what a quote man!!! ❤
Thank you so much for bringing it up.

Amazing ending!! Learn to enjoy your routine!! No FIRE is required
The last lines about enjoy life was spot on ❤
Loved the ending. You hit the nail on the head.
with a deep thinking u can understand that 9:05 is the most brutally eye opening statement about early retirement with a big corpus
This is reality check. Wonderful video!
Best episode till date!
I’m glad you are deinfluencing these stupid topics that come up in the internet these days and make our lives out of balance

In ipo allotment money imp or pan no..,person1 gave money to person2,the ipo is allotted to person2.What is percent amount should person2 take from the profit
these big finfluencers should think about what he said in the last part of the video
Thank You

Best part of the video 4:04 😅
Do you really think after 35 person be simple seating without working?
what if we invest to reach our swp equivalent to our income instead of expenses wouldnt that be sustainable??
Financial independence is a nonsense thing in my perspective, We all have a purpose of life, I mean if you have everything in your hand and nothing to do, Sooner the life is going to get bored, look at our country politicians and other veteran professional for instance the late lawyer ram jethmalani who lived for 94 years i mean he would have taken up his retirement even a decades before he died, He had everything but he did'nt do that, Man is always meant to move around and do something
But how to earn & invest 2.5 crores by 35?
Get really good at what you do and keep moving toward your investment goals with regular SIPs. And obviously staying tuned with Zero1!
life is not that simple that you can plot it into exel sheets
Why is tata pension management fund performing this bad. Should I chand my NPS scheme?
Every fund manager performance is poor

Unfortunately your video will be seen by very less people..
Compared to clickbaits 😂
You're right, clickbait grabs attention, but I’d rather build a genuine audience who’s actually interested. It might be a slower path, but it’s more meaningful in the long run. 😊
