Hey, I am using this phone for more than 7 months and I can say it's a solid phone and the camera is one of the best in the segment. I am also facing 90 fps issue in bgmi but it works in other games like pubg, I play pubg in 120 fps and works well but in bgmi it is just 60 fps now I will try your trick to unlock 90 fps .One intresting this about telephoto camera is it is 2.6x rather than 3.2x try zooming in photos and videos it will switch to telephoto at 2.6x which I feel is bad. I feel it's performance is solid in games and I don't face heating issue or fps drop in games.

I have the device, I tried the A/C room and refrigerator test on my phone haven't seen any lens fogging till now. Recorded a 8k/4k for 30 mins videos at standard 26°C - 30°C temperatures with decent humidity, All good so far. My honest opinion is it's a great device with a compromise on the battery size, But I decided to buy a compact device to save my pinky finger health I have small hands and my pinky fingers were taking all the load. So far I love the compact size and absolutely love the charging speeds
Try video recording in direct sunlight long enough for device to heat up "Something I noticed in this device is fogging up usually happens when device is in warm temperatures."
using xiaomi 14 for 4 months i had got a big crack on the back panel by some accidental multiple drops.... i am facing an issue on videography the footages are flickering on all resolution and fps... flickering is not seen always sometimes only... photography is pretty good...i am not a heavy user...i gets around 5-6 hrs of screen on time...
Xiaomi 14 is best phone i ever used pros 1) display is best 2) camera is ultimate 3) battery SOT(7-8 HRS) 3) compact size Cons 1) night photos & videos
I have been using Xiaomi 14 for 4 months now. And I’m extremely pleased with the experience. The most feature rich device at the expense of few bloatwares that I can uninstall? Yeahhh anyday. Thats why I use android no?
So true I had a note 10 at first, went ahead and bought a Xiaomi 12 for a pretty good price, I really couldn't live with it's software I had to switch to a s23 this year because I really didn't want to spend 60k for a s24 for almost the same features and I honestly feel much better software wise.
it doesn't have basic features like extra dim etc. so many ads and privacy issues. i would buy a pixel or apple at this price and compromise on hardware rather
@@imHVD even with gaming in bgmi you won’t face any such issues. While playing warzone at max settings. It starts to get warm after around 1 game. You need to get inside room with fan or ac on to avoid it. Since it is a compact phone
Sadly this phone is simply not applicable to cold weather (like -28 degrees during winter) due to the condensation on the lens. It's there, it's a fact, and I cannot for the love of god understand why Xiaomi didn't fix it as they had the problem in multiple models. It's just wrong.
I have been using Xiaomi 14 for a while. I don't play games all that often but one thing to die for is the potrait mode. I don't know if you have played with the potrait mode enough but you would surely be blown away by the results. Lasts me an entire day. Had heating issues initially but after a while I haven't seen the phone heating except for long 4k video sessions or while charging. Overall 9/10. You need to have it to understand how much a one-handed phone can make your life easy with these many features.
I currently have the vanilla 13T. Do you think it's now worth updating to the Xiaomi 14 or get the 14T instead? What matters are slightly better everything from general photos, videos (HDR, accuracy, low light, stabilisation, etc ) and battery life.
😂😂😂really sometimes i laugh remembering this advertisement Me to xiaomi :- Aur kya chal ra hai Xiaomi in response:- fogg chal ra hai Me :- ha vo to pata hai lekin aur kya chal raha hai Xiaomi in response again:- fogg chal ra hai 😂😂😂
I bought XIAOMI 14 on the Great Indian Festive sale from Amazon. I faced fogging issue in my unit. This is a manufacturing defect for this model. If we record 2 mins 8K or 3 mins 4K 60 fps video fog will cover inner surface of camera glass. It will be gone after 2 to 4 minutes automatically. This will happen with every model. After visiting the service center they have removed the camera cover protected by a rubber ring. After that I'm not facing any blurry camera issue. But for long term usage dust particle might stuck on the camera module due to removal of that rubber ring. Otherwise, there is no heating or battery drain issue has found. The device heated a lot if you use camera module for long time but no lagging or battery drain is being observed. Till not the device is okay and I'm very satisfied with the picture. I'll say the picture is more appealing than any current flagship. For videography this mobile is little behind from Samsung Galaxy S24 ultra, S23 ultra and iPhone. But I'm happy when I consider the price to performance and quality ratio 🙂
Exactly bro it happens with my phone too. I am regretting it now by ignoring Samsung S24 instead of this. Whenever I try to click photos in a cold temperature place the camera lens starts to fog. I do gaming and click photos but the camera has disappointed me a lot 😢
i was so exited about this phone from day 1 when it's first announced, before it was way expensive like around 70k but now it's around 47k on Amazon also on Flipkart, i am so poor now i can't buy 😭 it, it's like the perfect for me 1. compact (most important for me) 2. very good camera and display 3. good performance 4. new Xiaomi hyper OS is very stable and smooth 5. i just love this phone well it's 2024 now and I'm still using my redmi k20 pro belive me after 5 year it's still as good as it was before(🤫 got another k20 pro on 2021 😆 so i have 2), lucky i didn't have any problems, such as motherboard dead, green line, once i had charging issue I just replaced the port and it's good to goo🔥, i been keeping my eyes on the Xiaomi 14 when the price will drop and i just grab it anyway, i am so poor now i can't buy it even it's on this steal deal 47k is really a good price, well the snapdragon elite processor just announced for mobile platform and on paper it seems very good (well Ai capabilities lol), maybe on 2025 if I got a chance i will get the Xiaomi 14 for sure 🔥, love you guys on TechWiser keep rocking 🤘🏻🔥🤘🏻

Bro let me ask you something... I'm gonna buy a phone next year, does sd 8 gen 3 still worth then? And i want a compact one... So what phone do you prefer???? ( no price limit)
Have been an Xiaomi 14 ultra for the past 6 months and the software is way more smoother than oneuI .And animations are done very good.Bloat might be the only problem for many..
How would you compare it to the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra? I just bought one but I'm wondering if I'll send it back and get a Xiaomi 14 (for the same price)
I think that the screen replacement cost is so high cuz there wouldn't be much demand for it so they make less of it, 3 days after I bought my xiaomi 14 it slipped from my pocket as I was riding on my dio at around 30+ kmph, i was nervous riding back around 20meters to pick the phone up, the pre installed scratch card had a little tear, some scratches and a couple of bubbles but the screen looks and works fine, the camera didn't have any damage the mobile had its face on the ground when I reached, also i need to mention that I had the case on the phone that came in the box. on a different topic the phone does feel too hot without the case I mean both the looks and the temperature. The Phone drains battery quickly but also charges up like a maniac with the in the box 120w charger, the phone supports only up to 90w though.
Umm you haven't talked about the variable aperture in his camera as it's the one and only phone which comes with it and has one of the best portraits in this price point.
I hv used 11 tpro 11x nd other mi mobiles, for the 1½yr it was like awesome in every perspective like display it was best one,cam and other r awesome, but after 2nd yr it dops too much performance even compared with antutu and cam performances also droping especially in night photographs... If possible make a long term review of other techie like person after 2d yr.Now im using vivo x100 it was more than I expected, i checked with even s23 and s24 cam, x100 was soo gud even in performance nd cam ....we want long term review after 2yr, please compare atleast if it was worth of buying with offers after an yr... I'm following you for the past few yrs, content, video quality was awesome, even for beginng tech interested persons wer get much quality content...congrats guys🎉🎉🎉
One day back, Amazon was showing 46k and now it shows 50k . When will it go back to 46k or less? Maybe during Black Friday? And does it heat up while recording videos for extended sessions?
The not only problem is expensive repairing cost but also the availability. I was a Xiaomi fan boy and I bought mi 11 ultra which was really head turner. But real picture starts when the it speakers stopped working and care center told me that the motherboard has to repaired which cost around 45k but after putting that on Mi twitter page, they offered me repairing in 20k . Finally I was convinced to do so but when they start working on the issue and ordered the part but after 5-7 days they told me that the part is unavailable, So they again given an offer that they will give Mi 12 and which was a downgrade from ultra to a normal flagship, So that day I decided I will never pay 30 k plus money on mi phone. I will only prefer samsung or Iphone, if I am spending 30k plus amount. Now I am using s24 ultra and spare parts cost is really really affordable , even lesser than Xiaomi or oneplus 50k flagships.
Compared the S24 and S23 cameras from my brothers. The S23 takes better pics than anything shown in this video. Maybe the Snapdragon chip is doing a better job than the Exynos.
Moved from iphone14 to xiaomi 14. Super camera.only once got rear camera fog. But otherwise no issues. I got it at 43k. Vfm device. Changed region to US. No getapps bloat. Uninstalled all other bloat.
xiaomi 14 and iq 12 which is better if compared as some people doesnt really trust oneplus now because of the green line issue so can you give any suggestion or better if you make a video on it
wont be buying any mi device in my lifetime now. Mi 12 pro got green line issue and they refused to replace the display bcoz of 1 small scratch. my vivo x70 pro display got replaced even after 2 years and had multiple scratches. And would suggest every one to stay away from their phones terrible after sales. I don't know why are you even recommending their phone despite their terrible customer service policy.
Got a green line issue on my Motorola as well. Green line issue is a universal issue with every phone which is coming with a samsung display. Even apple uses samsung's amoled display.
@_Infocars issue is one thing and refusing to provide solution to customer is another. If there is issue company should provide service to correct it like Vivo did to me even after 3 years when I bought phone instead like mi refusing to change jst 1 yr after purchase.
I have been using it from 2months and it has lens fogging issue.. and when I checked the internet many user is reporting the same ..... can u guys pls help us to reach the brand
Bought Xiaomi 14 at 47500 on Amazon sale. Except for battery life, everything is just awesome at this price range! I play COD at max settings for 5-6 hours everyday, I need to charge my phone twice!
I have been using this phone since 1 month now, i didn't notice any fogging issues atleast on my unit (though i was bit sceptical while buying this due to fogging issue😊), camera is the best, awesome photos and even the videos are so great 😃, it offers all the features that all flagship phone offers nowadays. And, am fine with bloatware; it would take only 1 min to uninstall them so thats not the problem for me atleast😅 Go for it, its actually better than ..(u know it😂) In simple words: Value for 💰
does this phone has miui dialer with call recording feature or it has google dialer ??? and if google dialer can we download miui dailer so that I can use call recording with shouting or beep tone??
I wanted to buy this phone only but on amazon many people complains about the figgy lens issue and which does not have any fix even at xiaomi service center. So i have to drop this idea
Bro I am recently upgrade from redmi k20pro ...last 20 days I am using this phone...phone have some heating issue with normal usage...no playing game ... outdoor camera usage 2time the phone overheating notification come then automatically close camera app...can I go to service centre inform this issue what I do tell me bro
Very good review! Can you confirm if the phone you tested has the Indian variant of the Global ROM? If so can you confirm if it has the Xiaomi dialer available along with the google dialer (as was the case with MIUI), or does it have the google dialer only?
The only thing that's stoping me from buying Xiaomi 14 is hyperOS. I've been using miui12 for like 4 years and i definitely don't wanna use the same ui again after spending 50k on it...
Except the front camera portrait, I have no complaints on this phone. Great Phone. Its compactness is awesome ane performance is great. Camera is as usual the best and has AI features without using the name AI. Its Hyper OS is a game changer. Not for its features, MIUI is already feature rich. But Hyper OS they fixed most of the glitches and issues with MIUI had and improved its speed and efficiency. So finally, I am so much satisfied with this than 10T pro or 12 pro phones.
@pinks29 no bro..if you get a non defective piece...nothing to worry.. .you should be having return option rit? record few videos in 8k (4-6min) and youl know..
I recently bought Xiaomi 14, Trust me Amazing phone, touchpad, Vibration, Mic & Camera just surprised me. trust me in many of the scenarios like photos on Night & Video Mic can beat S24/+ easily...
Xiaomi 14 is a great smartphone Just the battery life is not that great if you are a heavy user otherwise its. A godly compact smartphone And I have uninstalled all the bloatwares Getapps and all that's BS so no ads and better experience
I have the Xiaomi 14 ultra Mixed feelings I almost tried to exchange + iPhone xs old with a 15 pro max But I don't know if it's just me. iPhone photos weren't detailed as they used to be and the photos aren't as natural. Too warm. And no 3x optical. And nothing beyond 25x digital. And even 10x shots are way sharper on the Xiaomi With Xiaomi you need to live with the absurdly off colour science they their isp chooses to go with. Best way to make great use of Xiaomi camera is to take in Raw + jpeg. About 60% of the times, jpeg does the job. The remaining 40% you need to work on the photos a little But if you do, you get photos that you can't output from any phone camera And I really love the speakers And hating the battery life And loving and hating the charging speed Loving that's it's way faster than a Samsung/iPhone/pixel but hating since its slower than the 13 pro which offered 120w and hotter than the supervooc charging from bbk. Hating hyper os trying to be ios. No swipe from the top for notifications without spending unnecessary effort in choosing left or right and it becomes more of a hassle when operating with one hand Hating that call recorder is not there Hating that the phone display is not as good as iPhone 15 pro max Hating that 50mp raw is not available for zoom cameras Loving the zoom cameras though. Just way more control you feel Hating the selfie cam quality Hating the phones auto processing, that is completely afraid of noise and hence tries heavy noise reduction Hating that the wifi seems to disconnect inbetween though it says as connected. Not very often. But it happens Hating that the scrolling screenshot feature is unnecessarily complex Hating that the search apps option is at the bottom instead of at the top Hating that it asks for password to be typed every 72hrs. This is a problem when you are outside and people peeping into your phone
The performance part you are saying is not happening for me...I am using this for a about a month now...I am playing pubg mobile on 120fbs ...it doesn't dripping the frames even after 2hrs of playing...and yes it's gets warmer after some time...
I wanted to go for iphone 15 but apart from camera I don't find anything interesting so i was searching for alternatives then i came to 3 phones Xiaomi 14, pixel 8 and s23+ but s23+ stayed out of the stock so after watching multiple reviews i decided to go with Xiaomi 14 although I was very worried to invest this much in an MI PHONE. It's been almost 7-8 days battery goes well even with moderate gaming on battery saver it lasts a day. Charges in 30 mins. I haven't faced any camera fogging issues. camera is pretty good for a user like me who doesn't use camera much. Edit- Also i have heard that black colour got most camera issues so i went with green nd have no issues so far. I didn't feel much heating during gaming but during camera use it heats a bit
One more issue of Mi phones is they hate third party launchers. I am using Nova Launcher on Mi 14. And Mi won't let me update the phone with Oct 24 Security update of 5.6 GB. It would get stuck in boot loop for around 3 hrs and then restart just to be notified "update failed".
Guys x14 does not have 3.2x camera it's an 2.6x and the Potrait mode is very difficult to use and in post editing you can't edit the bokeh. Please go for oneplus 12 if someone told me this earlier then I would have gone for oneplus 12.

Xiaomi 14 has 2.6x telephoto camera not 3.2x . It just zooms to 3.2x in default so that it matches 75mm in real camera

So true I had a note 10 at first, went ahead and bought a Xiaomi 12 for a pretty good price, I really couldn't live with it's software I had to switch to a s23 this year because I really didn't want to spend 60k for a s24 for almost the same features and I honestly feel much better software wise.

I currently have the vanilla 13T. Do you think it's now worth updating to the Xiaomi 14 or get the 14T instead? What matters are slightly better everything from general photos, videos (HDR, accuracy, low light, stabilisation, etc ) and battery life.

How would you compare it to the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra? I just bought one but I'm wondering if I'll send it back and get a Xiaomi 14 (for the same price)
Bought it in sale for 48k, I'm Mclovin it. I feel like a nerd have a great great phone which is less common in market.

This review is all about why this device has been an underrated 😂
3 years back i bought a Mi phone at 20 k. After few months camera turns foggy so it's better fix now wanna try mi again

Very good review! Can you confirm if the phone you tested has the Indian variant of the Global ROM? If so can you confirm if it has the Xiaomi dialer available along with the google dialer (as was the case with MIUI), or does it have the google dialer only?
The only thing I didn't liked in Xiaomi 14 is Google dialer. It's okay but moving from MI Dialer is kinda hard.
I have faced fog issue on camera with s20 fe, s23 as well
What about moto edge 50 ultra in this price range ?
The fogging issue is real my first and second phone had the issue.. 😢

I have the Xiaomi 14 ultra
Mixed feelings
I almost tried to exchange + iPhone xs old with a 15 pro max
But I don't know if it's just me. iPhone photos weren't detailed as they used to be and the photos aren't as natural. Too warm. And no 3x optical. And nothing beyond 25x digital. And even 10x shots are way sharper on the Xiaomi
With Xiaomi you need to live with the absurdly off colour science they their isp chooses to go with.
Best way to make great use of Xiaomi camera is to take in Raw + jpeg. About 60% of the times, jpeg does the job. The remaining 40% you need to work on the photos a little
But if you do, you get photos that you can't output from any phone camera
And I really love the speakers
And hating the battery life
And loving and hating the charging speed
Loving that's it's way faster than a Samsung/iPhone/pixel but hating since its slower than the 13 pro which offered 120w and hotter than the supervooc charging from bbk.
Hating hyper os trying to be ios.
No swipe from the top for notifications without spending unnecessary effort in choosing left or right and it becomes more of a hassle when operating with one hand
Hating that call recorder is not there
Hating that the phone display is not as good as iPhone 15 pro max
Hating that 50mp raw is not available for zoom cameras
Loving the zoom cameras though. Just way more control you feel
Hating the selfie cam quality
Hating the phones auto processing, that is completely afraid of noise and hence tries heavy noise reduction
Hating that the wifi seems to disconnect inbetween though it says as connected. Not very often. But it happens
Hating that the scrolling screenshot feature is unnecessarily complex
Hating that the search apps option is at the bottom instead of at the top
Hating that it asks for password to be typed every 72hrs. This is a problem when you are outside and people peeping into your phone

Same here . Searched for S23+ and it was out of stock. And eventually bought MI14
Very good phone
I purchased this this season.. No brainer at this price for this storage
Anyone facing this can uninstall third party launcher > restart > update > reinstall third party launcher
Guys x14 does not have 3.2x camera it's an 2.6x and the Potrait mode is very difficult to use and in post editing you can't edit the bokeh. Please go for oneplus 12 if someone told me this earlier then I would have gone for oneplus 12.
