Lol yeah the comic smell is definitely nostalgic. Love it
And I’ve still never tried that messy Absorene pad with the shavings, I just use the one that looks like a giant rectangle eraser. But I wanna try the bag sometime! Also immacuclean can get the stains out fairly well. It’s a wet cleaner, but if you go light and let it dry between applications, then still steam before the press it’s great
Same thing with my silver Age comics
I dont collect slabs mostly due to the smell, its such a huge part for me when collecting books. Great vid!

I like Silver Age the best, but any older stuff is fine. As time goes by, even bronze age is starting to look good to me. 😮

i'd like to give you a tip if i may ... on the magazine board you put into the middle of the book before pressing , you should use an exacto knife and cut a small staple relief in the board where the staples line up . that way , there's no chance of you pressing the staples and possibly having the staples pop out of the cover , or bending the fold of the staples in the center of the book . CGC will notice this and give your book a restored grade .
