I’m enjoying smaller channels like yours…Just real fans sharing their love of collecting. I just subscribed. I sold and donated most of my collection. I’m down to around five-hundred books…most are high grade raw. I have a handful of graded CGC books. And I recently submitted a dozen to be cleaned/pressed and graded. Around the same time, I got Klaus Janson to sign my pristine Dark Knigjht Returns #1 at a Con last month. It was witnessed by a CGC rep and it was then submitted to CGC to be signed by Frank Miller. I’m hoping it gets a 9.8 and I’m waiting anxiously to get it back. I hope you can do a video of your favorite Copper Age books.

Yah my buddy has a ton of super elite rare spawn books. It's kinda his jam. And agreed, anything Jim Lee, imo, is top notch!! You collect spawn books? You think they'll do a movie anytime soon?

Hah thank you thank you!! I do love that 20th anniversary X-men, its just like the OG but better! The wolvie #1 I was soooooooo happy to get back 9.8SS. Was quite nervous about that one with all the sigs, and the previous slab had no inner well. So i was double nervous that the sigs might have colour transfer when it got unslabbed. Phew

Glynis Oliver-Marsh lol. Congrats on another Wolvie 9.8 and all sigs is awesome!!! I get it with sending in for signatures and potential grade drop, but I'm a gambling man I guess lol. My 181 was only a 4.0 and was never cleaned or pressed and the slab looked shit. So I always was going to crack it out and clean it up and adding Roy and Glynis sigs to it was a bonus. If it gets a grade drop I really don't care it's only a monetary loss if I go to sell it and for now it's staying in the pc Yep I'm still sending in books lol just mailed another 15 to CGC 4 for Walt to sign and just finishing up pressing another group to go out next week. I just sold all 5 X-men 1 9.8 slabs and the next day they announced another Jim Lee signing so I won't have that expense but I do have a couple I like to get signed lol Keep up the videos there just honest videos and for me that's what I like. I don't need to be told what is the hot book of the week or what the big flop is either.👍 Did I hear correct that you haven't read Wolverine 1 yet 😂time to get a facsimile copy and read it lol. @@kingsleychan yep cracked it cleaned and pressed it sent it to cgc for signatures. I sold my X-Men 1 books for a slight profit and I'm ok with that. Guy was local to me so I didn't have to ship and he saved shipping and taxes. So we both did ok. I didn't realize how many books or slabs I have, 16 short boxes of slabs. So trying to move out some to make room for others. My problem is I like them all. 😅

Yes, so the back story is that this is Les Chroniques de Spawn 6, which is the French reprint of Spawn 149&150, limited to /666, so they hand numbered the back. Then I sent it to CC to get Jim Lee to sign it a while ago, but the slab was damaged in transit to me, so this box just came back from getting reholdered. I really liked this sketch by Jim, but on the regular Spawn 150 he drew, this sketch was on the back cover. So I found this French version that used the sketch on the front.
Dont waste your money and time getting you collection graded, are you a comic collector or a merchant? CGC and CBCS arent honest bussines they dont disclose their method of grading is too inconsistent, find the comics as much as in mint condition as is posible to you, to your on opinon and liking true collectors do not use grading only people that want to sell.
@@Ak-zf5rb def agree with ya, there's tons of things I dislike about cgc. But in some sense they bring a bit of order to the madness. Haha I just rmb back in the days getting a copy of wizard and looking at prices that way. What era of comics are you into collecting/reading?
