    This is a tutorial on how to remove hair and debris from the bearing / bushing that does not freely spin on the main brush. This may need to be performed if normal cleaning does not stop the brush stuck fault from occurring. On the eufy, this would be indicated by a solid red power light and 4 beeps. NOTE: Not mentioned in this video, but the bronze/brass bushing/bearing can be popped out to make cleaning even easier. Sorry I missed that! IF you still have issues after this procedure, see this video for further diagnostics: • Disassemble Eufy Robov...

    I thought mine was clean till I totally pop out the little gold ball to get to everything under it. So stop at just popping out the pin like the video shows!

      I'm going to pin your comment since the mention of popping the bearing out gets missed in the video description. :)

    I normally don’t write reviews but this video helped me massively for my denkee robot. The only bit that I couldn’t figure out from the video (and watched somewhere else) was that you need to hammer out the silver bit. You need to be incredibly careful though because the black clips on the side holding it to the roller may break off.

      It's possible debris has found it's way into the inner parts of the vacuum. I think there are other videos that address this. Does it fault right away, or after it has been running for a little bit?

    I didn't even have to remove the bearing. It was a new brush, and the bearing was stuck straight out of the box. I sprayed some lube in it and twisted it a few times to unstick it, and it was good as new.

    • @AlsAutoandAppliance
      @AlsAutoandAppliance  Год назад

      These vacuums will also fault for "rolling brush" if the side brush motors get stuck or go bad. You can open up the robot and disconnect the side brush motors and see if the error still comes back. Let us know your results. ALSO, the transmission that drives the brush can also have issues (motor, debris, or drive belts/gears). If you search my channel, there are other videos addressing this.

    Did this once and it worked great. A year later the bar is now stuck from what appears to be the other side. Is there a similar bearing that holds the neutral side of the brush that can be cleaned by disassembling parts of the unit?

      You are welcome. Sorry to hear this didn't help you. We have more robovac repair videos that might be able to help you out. Something we found out is that the side brushes will give the same fault as the roller brush, so you might want to take a look at those too if your main gearbox is fine. Thank you! Unfortunately, this worked for 5 minutes. Then after quickly cleaning and starting it again in another room, first it beeped 3 times flashing, we cleaned the sensors. Then it beeps 4 times steady red lightning.. So the same brush issue again. But it is clean and worked for some minutes before.. Really strange. Like the robovac is adressing faults, which are not given..

      @@AlsAutoandAppliance thanks but we already opened the whole robovac (according to a german disassembly video on youtube) and looked for hair/dirt in the brush engine itself. We disassembled it and it was clean, then we assembled everthing again. Since it didnt change anything, I found your video and it was very helpful and as I said, it worked for the first start and some minutes but then, same issue :/ we consider buying an original brush, but i think this won t change anything. Maybe the sensor signals detecting is broken or the engine itself after running some minutes.. Difficult to get the error now, since everything inside the brush engine and the brush itself is clean. Maybe the only solution is buying a new vacuum. At least our robovac was doing his job for more than 1,5 years

    • @AlsAutoandAppliance
      @AlsAutoandAppliance  5 лет назад

      @Harry Lawn Mowing We have come to find out the 4 beeps is also caused by the side sweeping brushes or a bad/dirty roller brush transmission. See this video: ruclips.net/video/Ea2-QV60GDU/видео.html
