I’m hoping to get drum major my junior and senior years and this is definitely going to help. I’m a freshman this year and this definitely gave me some things to help me improve my conducting. I’ll come back to this video and let you know if I get it!
@@jeremypalacios6920 unfortunately due to our drumline not being the biggest i was told that i would have to play instead, but if the circumstances were different i would’ve totally gotten it! good luck to others and do not give up:)))!
Just finished my senior season as the drum major and must say that while conducting is important on the field while performing or rehearsing leadership qualities are exponentially more important, to all those who're here for tips or pointers I wish you the best of luck.

Counting off will be done in 4/4 99% of the time

Hey. I'm an freshman an di want vh to be a drum major at my sophomore year and can you teach how to do the 6/8 conduction.
down in in out out up (like 4/4 but 2 ins and 2 outs) - or you could just do 2/4 or 3/4 depending on the emphasis
