@@STEVEGOTITPOOL thanks for the quick reply man, I'm trying to fill in my pool so it won't be so deep and looking for some advices I'll definitely watch your other videos 👍
@@soldadoblanco9149 we usually use 3/4” crushed stone and compact in lifts . Sometimes we use sand too. I definitely have a video or two I believe where we raise the depth and install vermiculite
When patching big holes in a vermic pool do I need to just use the A-top or do I need to mix it with Portland cement since it’s going over existing vermiculite? And what is the ratio that you use?
Nice work Dude thanks for sharing 👍🏻
I’m still waiting impatiently lol your doing a great job steve
How many inches of vermiculite will be needed for flooring after the TB is thrown and compacted to make a good surface?
Typically 1 1/2” - 2” . We use 2x4’s for forms . You can skim coat 1/2”-1” over existing bottoms as well

I like to fill big holes with 3/4” crushed stone then use A-Tops coarse grade micki
1-2” of micki is recommended
I just dropped 10 bags of dry vermiculite and spread it out no cement dropped intex pool on it and it freaking great smooth and soft on your feet !
