You can easily filter out the XO core content via the filter menu (Looking glass icon). Select and unselect sample folders there to your heart's desire 😊❤️

This plugin is an insanely major game changer. It's rather pricey but...totally worth it. Get it on sale. It quickly became a necessity once I used it. It was able to uncover all my samples that were lost in all the installed and sample folders accumulated over the years.
This is an absolutly awsome plugin but why the hell the sequencer is so short ??? are we supposed to export everything piece by piece without even knowing if it will fit with the previsous bars....such a same
Thanks for the video! I love the organizational features, but the sequencer is pretty underwhelming. I'd want things like being able to set the length of each track, per-step probability of triggering the sound, and maybe some smart mutation of the sequence.
Nice video. XO looks great. But, to remove the bundled content, can't you just rename the folder that contains the content? Or create an empty folder with the same name? Something like that?
why not make the two versions the same except remove the sequence for the lite one and get rid of the sample packs and make the lite version 50 and the full version 120 thanks im out
Battery 4 is awesome! Love the articulation option. But it is only a sampler without a sequencer. The built-in sequencer in XO is solid. But then again Ableton or any other DAW is a super advanced sequencer on its own.
Thanks for this. I am not sure it is worth it given the cost. But it is a really intuitive way of presenting drum clips which is great in itself and more accessible. Still in two minds as to whetehr to fork out the cash!!!
This is what every DAW should have built in. Amazing plugin
Exactly
To play only your samples, you have to click the Question mark at the top right. Then uncheck the XO Core Content under "Sample Folders".
Awesome! Thank you!

Which question mark? I found the filter settings. No question marks here at the top right in the XO GUI...
@@mabian69 im not sure why he said question mark but he meant the magnifying glass. I was confused too
You can disable any number of sound packs including the default under search & filter.

Great review. I got a clear impression and I'm gonna buy it
Thank you, very good review!

super-dope intro to a super-dope plugin. thanks!
omg! great plugin
Nice. Splice has this to rent to own.
Thanks for the video!

How did you stay in key when you add for example a baseline or chord? Plugin looks nice.
I've bought it, just for fun!
Trying to add my BFD's library (55 gigs of wave files) to add to the space folder but it does not scan them for an unknown reason.
how do you organize a your plugins manually on a mac?

how to change names of the type of drum on the far left?
I've looked at it before, it's nice but too expensive for the small value it adds (even with the current sale)
When I press render my individual file come out empty with no sound or midi

i bought xo but i dont know how to slow each sample -i can only setup tempo from top of the software for all the samples
Slow each sample? Do you mean setting a separate bpm for each sample/part? Why would you want that?

really? you can't disable the core content?
Yes you can. Check out the first comment
Algonaut Atlas 2.5 is better in my opinion
Are you israeli ?
Interesting plugin but having Battery 4, I don't really see the need for me to go with XO but nice video man

Does battery help search by type like this though…..
It seems, one can not record and save midi into xo, with pencil only or presets. That's poor. And too expensive.

It's on sale rn on XLN's website
Sample organization is also available with Atlas, and it's $50 right now....
@@briancase6180 atlas sucks!
This was not worth the buy it should come standard in every daw. Their rc-20 however is priceless
