Could put on a better shock if there is one to fit those mounting brackets. I'm kinda thinking that's all it needs.

You can upgrade the quality of the shock and also run a tire with lower pressure

That's so weird because Davidbrandnew took a bad digger on this very same bike. Never settle for less than a full face helmet for this reason.
full face is the way to go for ebikes. Doesn't have to be a motorcycle helmet, but full face for sure.
Disassemble and grease the real linkage. China doesn't bother greasing but it should be done. You'll be shocked.

I think it could make an interesting project bike. Fenders suck though unfortunately. Not sure if the juice is worth the squeeze but rear shock is an easy fix. I think they overestimated the fatness of Americans for a change. 😉
