I'm amazed, this kid has got the whole package. Very honest,authentic artist who people can relate to in an everyman sense. Kudos to him, wish him the best and looking forward to his music.

Heard this song at the OC Fair tonight.as it played with a slide show with photos of the many cities and its citizens of Orange County,CA and it was quite moving. Loved the song, now one of my favorites. Never heard of this singer before but glad I did tonight.
Amazing how he can convey such depth of emotion with his voice. It's like caramel; rich, smooth and sweet all at once.

What a catchy tune. It's like a throwback to classic rock, and a push forward to rock of the future. It's just got a bit of everything. Most of all, it's like the Beatles in that the words match the music perfectly. In other words, it's inspired.

I first heard this song on American Idol, and I thought it was a pretty nice tune. Then I heard it this year at the Olympics for the USA gymnastics team. I started to like it more. Then I heard it again at the Macy's thanksgiving parade,and it got so stuck in my head I HAD to look it up. And now that I've listened to the lyrics, the song takes on much more meaning to me. And this may sound lame, but this song actually really warms my heart. Well done Phillip, well done.

SO glad he won. What a wonderful and fresh new sound. Such an amazing mix of artists we need to hear again; Lindsey Buckingham, Joe Cocker, Dave Matthews, Arcade Fire, Bob Seger...so great. Jessica is good, especially for her age and will get better as she gets older...but, I feel the industry is over saturated with her sound (and those are much better). Philip is different...we need that.

The olympics just brought me here 10 minutes ago and I have to say I am very pleased, I just love this song. So far I have to give props to the olymics and whoever manages their playlist which also played Sail by Awolnation. They never say who sings this on the Dallas radio, but play it every day, I swear to God I thought it was Mumford and Sons, but from what album?? I love Mumford....but anyway I was completely stunned to get on here and learn that Phlllips Phillips, or whatever his name is, sings this song....did not see American Idol so do not know him. But I still LOVE this song, it's awesome, even if I do see Mumford in my head when I hear it!!! ha ha.
