Jonny Giger, your videos pump me up. I was sponsored for years. Then I was in two fatal car accidents back in 2007. It destroyed my body and hopes of going pro. Having said that; I enjoy watching you and John Hill and so many other skaters press on and progress. Even though I can’t do anything more than a kick flip, heel flip, switch heel, last I learned was a lazer flip and dolphin flip. Bottom line, your videos inspire me to try harder but I’ll never get back to where I was in 2004. Love you brother and keep inspiring me and SO MANY OTHER PEOPLE!!! 🎶
i’m like 99% sure it did a half flip, when you do vertical dolphin flip the board does 1/2 flip only. same case on the hang then hardflip. sometimes it even overflipped. like you cant land on it if you do a full flip because the board lands on the downside 🙏🏼✌🏻❤️
@@slimboss9244 he wouldn't be doing crazy combo tricks though. If he knew he was going and practices the main set of trucks they usually go through he'd get it easy. You can see in the first one he was in he would have easily won, but decided to not do tricks he could do really because they seemed like "cheating".
Amazing ! Really great trick, looks awesome ! My daily pleasure to watch you skating, especially I'm stuck at home cause of knee surgery . Thanks for all !
Jonny im so sorry but that was some nice popped hang ten fs shoves. The board should be spinning noille backside with a flip. if the board flipped then you did a hang ten inward heel but i didnt see it flip but it could of. Its hard to tell.
Was thinking this exact thing. I'm goofy and that's the way i rotate it. I can't do them hang ten though. I've always called it a nollie pressure hardflip
I looked at brett novak's video, and I don't think jonny's trick is a hang ten hardflip, it's just a "hang ten shov", is anyone else agree with me ? I don't see any board rotation except the shov, where is the flip ? He told at the beginning that he needs more flick but I see no difference with the first try and the others. Jonny are you agree with me, we need a second round on this one !
you are literally one of my fave skaters of all time! random english tip you can say "I'm scared for my balls" or "I'm scared of hitting my balls" but "I'm scared of my balls" implies that you are frightened that your balls will hurt you or attack you. Anyways keep being rad, you rule bud :)
Today I dropped into a haft pipe and learned rock to fakie and like I know this video isn’t about vert but like I was gonna give up and was watching some of your Rodney Mullen trick video and it made me not wanna give up and I learned moving pop shove it’s today also ...from your one of your old video’s your the goat man ✊🏽
tbh with you when i see Jonny giger fail on tricks it makes me feel happy inside because i also fail and it reminds that Jonny isnt perfect. and doesnt land everything first try but still does it and it motivates me
You just know Chris Haslam is about to be all up in this. It'll go something like Hang Ten Pressure 360 Flip to Blunt. On a miniramp. Made of old rotten pallets. In a crack house. With Daewon knitting in the background.
No way!! I actually saw Tim Pool's Hangten Hardflip video about a month ago and then tried them for the two weeks afterwards. I got as close as landing one foot on it + multiple hangten shuv-its Def. a fun trick :)
2:55: "10 tries and not a good hardflip... professional flat ground skater" just showcaeses how difficult skateboarding actually is. Great video in my opinion :D
Cool but... still a bit like a shove-it. Or maybe inward heel (so wrong flip direction). Nonetheless it looks quite interesting and props for landing it!
Moin Jonny!
So cool! You are getting better and better. I think if you stood more in the right pocket and turn your body like 45 more degrees, it will help you get the hardflip better rotated under you. Good video 👍🏼
That graphic is sweet I just wish Revive made larger boards. I am over two meters tall and an 8.5 just feels small to me :( I am going to have to try and learn this trick though after seeing you do it. love it.
Technically a hang 10 nollie pressure hardflip or nerd flip and That nollie hard flip was so steezy and i love all these giant accidental hang ten shuvits
Juhu! Kommt ein streetpart 2020? Das wäre megageil!^^ Klar alles schwierig in diesem Jahr, oder so ein best of hardest Tricks 2020. Würde mich aufjedenfall freuen!^^ Grüße aus Deutschland!^^
so cool! always creative...actually it is a trick from the early '90s, I remember being in a skate shop back in 2000 i guess when I saw a skate video on the screen of the shop, there was a guy doing this crazy move in a line... damn I can't remember his name...
only needs to flip 180 because of the "impossible" that the board does the other 180. Otherwise it would be a double flip if it had another full flip of the board. If it didn't flip at all, he'd have landed with the grip tape on the cement.
Looks more like a shuv in my opinion. When I could nollie pressure hardflip this trick was fairly easy. I'm regular. I kept my left foot in the front pocket of the nose for the pressure flip and just have to balance your other foot on the nose and get it out of the way and let the dominant foot perform the pressure flip.
Jonny, you’re the real pleasure to the eyes ❤️
Pause
Omg because you look like him?
Ayo?
I haven't watched my skating dudes in a long time, Nice to see you're around, Brett!
GAYYYY
Definitely need to use this against Jason Park in a game of skate. I can see him accidentally landing this first try.
lol so true

Where’s the link to Brett Novak?
Well that wasn’t aimed
some of the lands looked kind of like a hang ten illusion flip
Do a hang ten dragon flip
Pls get to batb
I think you covered hang ten shuvit to hang ten hardflip and everything in between.
Great Video Giger!
On to BatB!
Seeing Jonny learn all these fun tricks makes me wish I never stopped skating
Why not start again? I had a nearly 25 year break but started again in my forties and it's the best descision I ever made. So much fun.
All that fence riding made Tim Pool great at hard flips.
Well, you know, it's complicated 😁
Keep grinding that fence, Tim :)
is fence riding a euphamism for smoking adderall?
@@lasagna187 He's an admitted milquetoast fence sitter.
this shocks me to say but... you did a flat spin version as best. you're still closer to a shoveit then a flip.
Don't say it, or someone with physics or geometry shits is going to try to prove you you're wrong.
It's an illusion flip, muska flip whatever. No one cares though.
Yeah, sorry Jonny, it was more a rocket shuv it.
@@jakeholland6194 no.
I don’t think he’s doing it right, it’s not flipping the right way or some shit. Idk.
Well you’re good with the hang ten pop shuvits! Keep it up man. I wish I could skate even at 1% of your level.
Seeing super mario 3D all stars in the background makes my heart happy.
the n64 is one of my top 10 all time favourite games :)
Or the Zelda OoT desktop backround :D
When you get to the BAtB finals you should use this as an ender
not if, but when.
Should make it a starter!
Has he been reached out for the next edition?
He won’t get to the BATB finals, you need insane consistency to make it there. They wouldn’t give you 10 minutes to try and land a trick.

The camera view from in front of the trick was the best by far!
The little bits of comedy that you had and I always make for a great video thank you sir
Jonny Giger is a robot man! How does he keep doing so many hard tricks. So much fun to watch!

Jonny you are such a huge inspiration for me. Love your videos, I am learning so much from watching them 👍🔥🔥🔥

His first hang 10 attempt looks like every attempt at every trick I do 😂
air balling is the worst, prepping, crouching, jumping... then just flailing in the air. Worst looking part of skating

Sewa’s hardflips are the ones to learn from. And don’t be scared of your balls Jonny, they won’t hurt you.
stuff i didnt know existed wow so new to me just when you thought you seen it all
to be a hardflip it has to lean into the flipping side not the opposite side then its just a hi vertical shuv / varial flip
I think that's why it's not flipping the way he wants it to.
Cool but... still a bit like a shove-it. Or maybe inward heel (so wrong flip direction).
Nonetheless it looks quite interesting and props for landing it!
Sau geil! :)
Ich feier deinen Kanal echt mega!
Thats IT! Im getting a Giger deck today...right now.
That.. looks just like a shove 🤔
Yeah no flip.
Wow, what a difficult looking trick!

Jonny screw the haters. I don't care if it's a 90% correct flip or 100%. I appreciate the effort it took to try something so different. 👊
broo I was thinking about learning this trick yesterday and then you lauched this lmaoo
Flipish is definitely the right word for this kind of hard flip.
Combine that with a late flip that would be crazy
