Similar story Giger, in 2005, I was in middle school. At that era, lots of people started playing with diabolos, those juggling double cup things and the two sticks connected with a string that accelerate the diabolo, spin it really fast and do tricks with it. There was a site called 'diabolotricksdotcom' or something, that I found when I had access one day through my mothers workplace to the internet, and I literally spend hours downloading every page and printing every trick I could find in it, until I had a 200+ page book of diabolo tricks . . yep, I learned diabolo from text, it wasn't easy XD
Awesome part about this guy all most of tricks he does are mostly all old school an very hard so awesome seeing someone keeping the oldies alive an right!!!!
Ty so much for show me tricks that could never, ever ever ever ever evá know that exists in planet Earth. THANK YOU Mr. Giger. And a plus ty for the book recommendation.

That trick looks difficult af. Good job Jonny!

i really love that you bring to life all the mullen tricks after so long thanks a lot...

If I remember correctly, after his Hip issues, he became more ambidextrous, I love his story of discovering and transcending his Skate Stance.
Bro you make me skate again now I'm introducing my sons to it thanks broski
Looks like a fun park but an absolutely perfect location! Mountains in the background look amazing.
And damn that looks like one of the most difficult flat tricks around and you killed it, after only that many attempts! Incredible
Man, it would be so hard for me to skate in that park...not only because I'm still learning basic tricks, but the mountain views are absolutely spectacular!!!
What an awesome skate park. The view of the mountains is absolutely spectacular and breathtaking. Awesome skateboarding Jonny 😊
I like that you are bringing back freestyle skateboarding !
The most underrated part of Jonny Giger's videos is the Brothers Grimm alpine backdrop.
I love your warmup sessions 👌
i haven't ridden on probably a decade but still love this stuff.. this guy is awesome.. if you were to watch the filming of videos vs the final product it would be hours of this guy before nailing some awesome trick.. much love homie.. keep crushing it
Killin it as usual. All your pro model decks are sick af too.
the zelda music reveal for the book is what really caught me
That park looks incredible, best looking park I've ever seen
Awesome man!! What a beautiful park too. You're living the dream my dude...
Like it’s not even the new trick I watch for any more. It’s crazy to see how many old “impossible tricks” are now in his warm up.
Epic! The dood at the end, classic
Loved doing that trick! respect for getting it Jonny!

Your video style and feel is inspiring on a spiritual level
Similar story Giger, in 2005, I was in middle school. At that era, lots of people started playing with diabolos, those juggling double cup things and the two sticks connected with a string that accelerate the diabolo, spin it really fast and do tricks with it. There was a site called 'diabolotricksdotcom' or something, that I found when I had access one day through my mothers workplace to the internet, and I literally spend hours downloading every page and printing every trick I could find in it, until I had a 200+ page book of diabolo tricks . . yep, I learned diabolo from text, it wasn't easy XD
12:24 - The Skate Genie from 1980 was released from the book when Jonny spoke in the long forgotten tongue of Swiss-German.... 😂
Amazing skills! I also enjoyed the warmup session very much!
be-bop is jazz and one of the foundation style of rock n roll
Awesome part about this guy all most of tricks he does are mostly all old school an very hard so awesome seeing someone keeping the oldies alive an right!!!!
Ty so much for show me tricks that could never, ever ever ever ever evá know that exists in planet Earth. THANK YOU Mr. Giger. And a plus ty for the book recommendation.

Liked, and subscribed! I was doing some of these tricks back in 89-90! Now I can’t even do a 360 kick flip. Skating wrecked my body. Be kind to those elbows, and knees! Editing this, to tell you, that you rock brother! I feel your frustrations with every try!

i love the legend of zelda stuff in the bg on your laptop!
"Weird Al" Yankovic if he skated 12:25 😂
This is the cleanest skatepark I have ever seen in my life :o
That backside melon up the euro thing was beautiful!! You should do more Ollie grabs dude. Hey didn’t Mullen do the first street melon too? Such a good trick.
Absolutely killing it like always! And I'm still trying to figure out what that green sign @ 7:09 with the two people and 4 arrows means.
It's an emergency assembly point sign.
Its a signt to show people around where to go if something like a fire or other dangerous shit is around. The firefighter and police departments know about these signs which makes it a lot easier to evacuate people, typical sign for germany and switzerland. have a good day brother
It's really not until you see another skater do his tricks until you realize how truly clean af all of Rodney's tricks are.
Every moment a joy to watch. what a massively great skater!!!!!!
You know, bebop music often uses 'between notes' in a musical scale. Wonder if this trick got the name because it goes ''between nuts''?

I wish there was a park near me with something similar to that small ledge from the beginning of the video. Looks so fun to skate
I want those spongebob trucks 🔥🔥
Nice das du das Buch von Günter Mokulys hast.:D Das fehlt leider noch in meiner Sammlung.^^
It's amazing Rodney Mullen hasn't been on one of his videos. Just with all the respect he has for him and time he puts in to learning his tricks i'd be begging to go on his channel.

Haha no way thats Gunters Mokylus book! The "Rodney Mullen" of Europe. An oldy but a goodie. Mike Osterman, Dan Garb, Tony Gale, Gunter, Hans and a bunch of others in the Freestyle world have that trick on lock. Glad you are inspired by the Freestyle.
