You did such a good job explaining the recipes. Your little haul was great. I see you got one little short chubby Santa. Your prices there are so much better than ours. I was finally able, because of cooler weather, to go in the attic and get my fall and winter clothes. I am so happy it is cooler there too. We too, had the hottest, dryest summer in our part of WV. Hi Kelsey! The little pitcher/creamer is so pretty, love the patina on it! Of course I can't tell for sure thru the screen, but it looks like it could be brass or silver. It looks more like brass tho. Try A magnet or google lens it. I love the quilted stocking! Also love the wood candy cane! Nice little haul! I always use garlic & onion powder, but i also use celery salt, it gives a great flavor to anything. But I've seen A couple people is the also yo mama spice. I've been looking for it, i really want to try it! Where do you find yours? I also always use black pepper! The soup looked amazing! Loooove your channel…not totally crazy about thrifting so I like that you show a little of everything! As a mama of 3 myself and trying to cut down on dishes, you can totally do that soup in one pot! Make the roux with the ground beef fat and then add everything to the pot, even the chicken base! Just a tip to save on dirty dishes lol. Keep this up- I think your channel will grow- you are so real! We mamas need sweet mama content without that picture perfect asthetic, not trying to be perfect!

How to check if brass is real. Take a magnet. If the magnet stick the item is steel or cast iron with brass plating. I think I learned that from your mom 😆 but also google it and she was right
Think that pitcher is either silver-plate or silver- just needs to be cleaned if you want the shine to come out- even though you might like the tarnished look- silver is very old fashioned too! Thanks for the heads up on HEB potatoes - we have a hard time finding baking potatoes for less than a fortune 😂😂
Use THREE of the stockings that match for YOUR three BOYS...and then either use two of the set of three for you and Josh and then get plain red or green stockings for you and Josh...and then when you find three or five stocking handers that go onto your mantel you can hang their three matching in the center and yours and Josh's on the ends. I used "wooden Christmas ornaments that I could write on and put my childrens names on them and attached them to their stocking. They have used them every year and are not ages 44 and 52 Saves you money and an easy fix!
