You have a talent for decorating just like your Mother! 🍁🍂
My favorite tradition is putting up the tree and wrapping presents. That reminds me of my childhood. My parents have been gone for a long time but Christmas reminds me of them.
Hi Kelsey! Hope you've had a great week.😊 I think your buffet/coffee bar area is so pretty! Including the wall & little stool at the end! I love the table.. simple but beautiful! Just An overall beautiful room.❤ The living room looks very cozy. The rich, earthy tones in the pillows & throws add a perfect fall touch In the living room. Your rents home looks very cozy & welcoming! Thanks for sharing it with us!😊 I pray you have a blessed rest of your weekend!🙏🏻
Thanks so much! 😊
One year I asked my children and their children to make me homemade Christmas decorations for the tree, I wanted a tree that meant something. It was the most beautiful tree I have ever had. No ornament that they made were alike and it just made my heart happy. I hang them every year. ❤️❤️❤️
Aw! I love that. I miss having tons of home made ornaments as a kid. I’ll be happy when my kids start making a bunch 🩷
I was raised n foster care n shoved everywhere so never did hoildays but the only thing that i have done was take my daughter to church Christmas eve n now she is grown we still do that together luv the luv u n ur mom has luv watching her channel has much as yours i can see the same decorations style luv it 💓
I’m sorry you were raised in that, I know it was probably hard but that you are resilient for coming out and trying to do better for you child 🤎
Kelsey, I enjoyed watching you decorate your home. Such sweet touches for 🍂🍁
Thanks so much! 😊
Our tradition was gathering as a family and having a Tex Mex Thanksgiving dinner. We had Mexican rice, potato salad instead of mashed potatoes. My mother had a knack with seasoning and everything always tasted delicious.
For Christmas we made tamales and buñuelos (what restaurants call sopapillas) for New Year’s Eve.
A new tradition I started with my little family was to get my kids a Christmas ornament every year. Our tree has a lot of memories that increased as the years went by. When they settle into their forever home, I plan on gifting them the ornaments.
Sorry for long post😊.
I love it!! 🥰
Hi Kelsey! Your home is beautiful! I prefer to decorate after Halloween so I can enjoy it longer! My mom waited until Thanksgiving weekend but I just can't do that! Thank you for sharing your inspiration and ideas. Love your videos. Have a blessed week!
As a child of divorced parent's, our traditions changed often. I find that the things I am most nostalgic for are the feelings that come with the holidays. Things weren't the same year after year for me, but the feelings have stayed consistent. I want my kids to experience those same feelings of safety, togetherness, peace, and love. Of "home" no matter where that may be.
I understand! Mine divorced when I was 3, I have traditions with each side 🤎🩷
Family dinner on Thanksgiving and Christmas was our tradition.
The house looks awesome. Fall has arrived. I always leave fall up during Thanksgiving. A couple days after, then I will start Chrismas. I kinda try to plan how i want to do my decor for Christmas. Great video, Kelsey. ❤😊
Happy Halloween I leave my fall decor up until after Thanksgiving I love all the colors of fall your home looks so cozy and comfy. Looking forward to your Christmas decorating.
Thank you! You too!
We take our grandchildren to the pumpkin patch every year! I love this tradition and the pictures we take are wonderful memories!🧡🍁
That is awesome!
I need to get pictures done 🙌🏼🤎

Your house looked so amazing. I love all the decor that you placed in your home. Thank you for sharing this great video.
Aweee thank you! ☺️
I wait until til after Thanksgiving and that’s because I’ve had my fall decorations up since the end of August. Fall is my favorite time of year. So I tend to hold all to all my decorations a little longer. lol 😉
Yes! I love them so much 😊🙌🏼
Kelsey’s home always has a warm cozy touch! She does an AMAZING job with decor. Shes also a wonderful mother to my 3 lil grandsons❣️
Thank you!! ☺️
Love you❤️🙏🏼
Hello, first I want to say your place looks beautiful. Mine is christmas. I first start by watching one Christmas classic movie every day starting dec. 1st til Christmas. Then I put out my 3 tall candle nutcracker soldiers given to me by my mom before she past 20 years now. I have been collecting vintage thrift ed Santa's for decoration and the tree. I wrap a few of my pictures on the wall with Christmas wrapping paper and a bow. I have a letter from Santa to my son when he was 5 .I still put under the tree even though he is 40 now. As well do a gag gift stocking for him . finally you can't decorate without playing vintage classic Christmas music , Nat King Cole, Bing Crosby.
Hi kelsey, our family tradition is my daughter and I cook the meals together and decorate. Right after Thanksgiving dinner is over, we clean up and put on the coffee and take out the deserts. While my son brings down the Christmas decor from the attic. While have our coffee we start decorating for Christmas. We also enjoy the firemen where we live drive down my street with Santa and the neighbors come out with kids waving hi to Santa. I am so thankful. My wish is that everyone have the same. Enjoy your holidays and God bless your family❤❤🙏🙏🇺🇲🇺🇲
So sweet!
This is kind of how our day goes too!
We lay around full and then have coffee and dessert when the meal digest 🤪🙌🏼
I love your house and I absolutely love your decorating style 🍁🍃
Thank you!
Love your videos. So relaxing for me. XOXOXO
A tradition we started with our kids years ago, is making Gingerbread house the day after Thanksgiving. They are the focal point of our mantel in our Christmas decor. When they were young, it was messy fun. As they got older, it became more competitive. There are 6 of them, so they would pair up and see who could come up with the most unique house ( sometimes we had chicken coops or dog houses, log cabins and barns ) now they all have significant others and they still insist on making gingerbread houses with their partners. I never thought it would last this long as most of them are now in their 30’s. But oh, it brings us so much joy!
Lol, I just watched your mother’s video. You are so blessed to have a loving family. I enjoy your styling videos and your home is lovely 😁
Thank you so much!🥹🙏🏼
Loved how everything came out! Thank you for sharing. 🍂
Thanks so much! 😊
Lovely, charming cozy home!
As a child my dad would buy each of us the little lifesavers book and it has become as tradition . My dad passed when I was 11 so it is very special to my family. While decorating we always put on Christmas music and get to decorating. The kids and grandbabies enjoy decorating Grammies tree
Hello and Goodmorning, I always enjoy your Videos!❤❤❤❤❤
Good morning!
Because both of my parents grew up with very little, they would make the season very memorable for us
Every year we would learn how to make different handmade Christmas ornaments- cinnamon baked cutouts, string popcorn and cranberries, paint wood ornaments, attach beads and trim onto satin ball ornaments, fill in stain glass ornaments.
We would have brand new matching pajamas and a special new hallmark ornament for each of us
On Christmas Eve we would eat tamales, make the cornbread stuffing for the turkey, open 1 gift, and go to midnight mass.
Sounds like a perfect day! 🙌🏼❤️💚
I love tamales 😋
I have an ornament that has been on my Christmas tree since my oldest daughter (I have 3 girls-the younger 2 are twins)was about 4 years old. It is a small plastic Santa in his sleigh with the reindeer. I bought it at a 5&10 store for I believe maybe .25 cents in 1970. My girls all look for that ornament every year. I also have ornaments they all made and ornaments some of my grandchildren made and a few years ago started getting ornaments some of my great-grandchildren made. I love all those ornaments so much and look forward every year to getting them out and hanging them on my trees. I put up 2-7-1/2' slim trees. One on either side of my fireplace hearth and mantle. Everyone of those ornaments flood my mind with beautiful, cherished memories of all the Christmases past and give hope to the Christmases to come.
One of our traditions is every year as soon as we are finished with Thanksgiving dinner, we bring in our Christmas tree and spend the evening setting it up and decorating it. 💕🎄🎄💕
Sounds great!😊 ❤️💚
Halloween my Daughter and I make homemade doughnuts and have 2 young adult grandchildren that look forward to them and Apple cider... We have apple trees.
Awee I love that! I would love a homemade donut recipe. Sounds amazing
I guess they're not children at 18 and 22. 😂
So pretty!
Thank you! 😊
Kelsey it looks so warm and cozy. You done a great job.
Hello sweet girl, everything looks so pretty. Cozy and inviting. Your dress is adorable too. I usually have everyone at my house Thanksgiving. I make the Turkey and a few sides, everyone brings some sides too, we usually have way too much food. Take care.
Thank you so much 🤗
Us too 🙌🏼🤎
Your lovely home looks so beautiful and inviting Kelsey .
So when I was growing up in the UK we didn’t really celebrate Halloween not as you know it . For us “All Hallows Eve “ meant that our loved ones who were no longer with us would cross over and stay for a while before returning back over . The one we always looked forward to as kids was Guy Fawkes Night (Bonfire Night) we celebrated with large bonfires and fireworks . So Guy Fawkes tried to blow up the Houses of Parliament as he didn’t agree with the then king .
My favourite tradition that always holds a special place in my heart at Christmas was going to midnight mass on Christmas Eve , then we were allowed to open one present and then off to bed because Father Christmas was coming 😊 Have a wonderful weekend Kelsey ❤🦋
I loved that you took pride in placing each item in it's perfect spot. Especially he runner on the coffee ☕ bar. Everything is so beautiful and perfect. I especially loved the little scarecrow in the basket. 🎃🤎🧡🤎🧡
Thanks so much! 😊
Beautiful. 👌🍁🍂🍃🎃
Thank you! 😊
Loving the fall colors…I tend to leave autumn up all year as basic decor then intertwine Christmas among it !
Childhood traditions were having Christmas Eve dinner at grandmas house then after dinner decorating her tree and hanging stockings at fireplace. My uncle would go to the basement to bring up the manger ( nativity set) and we’d set that up .back in those days our tradition was to put up tree and decor on Christmas Eve -and not a day before!!! I can’t imagine it now!
❤️xx
So sweet! 🥲
I love those. I cherish everything I’ve ever done with my grandparents 🩷
This video made me cry. My mother remarried a horrible man when I was 4. He farmed & didn't believe in holidays. We worked in the fields all hours not in school. Therefore I wanted my kids to have some traditions, which I never had. But they didn't care that much. So I'm old now & I have no traditions to bring back any nice childhood memories.
I’m so so sorry! That’s so unfair. If you were here I would let you join my family in a heartbeat 🩷
You can start your own tradition that brings joy to your heart perhaps with a grandchild ❤
My millennial grandkids have gone off the grid & unfriended everyone except themselves, so we don't know where & how they are. They don't want children so I guess no greats for me also.
At Christmas time we all go to my daughters house in our Christmas pjs. Also when I wrap presents I don’t put no names on them. I pick a different wrapping paper for each person. I take a cut off and write who paper it is and keep it so I don’t forget lol. But when the kids come over they don’t even know who’s presents are who’s so it’s hard for them to even guess what they might be getting 😊
I love that! My mom does similar 🤪
So sweet 🩷
Also, those little salt and pepper shakers are so sweet your mama got you.
Hi Kelsey! My mom is an 81yr old widow and my sister and her family lives in Arizona. So hubby and I celebrate here in Georgia with Mom. I'm just a so-so cook so we'll order some food from Cracker barrel. After the meal I'll clean up and we'll visit and maybe watch a little TV. I think Christmas is going to be the same. I love the way you decorated for Fall. You have a great day.
Sounds perfect! 🩷☺️
You did such a beautiful job decorating your home!! I can't wait to decorate for Christmas! I can't wait to see your home decorated for Christmas ❤
Thank you so much!!
Me too! ❤️💚
It all looks amazing! You have a beautiful home. Don’t you love pillow covers? Now grab a good book and curl up on the couch until you doze off. You have really outdone yourself.
It's perfect and looks beautiful, just the right amount of fall deco. 🍂🍁🍂
Thank you! 🤗
Hi I won’t decorate for Christmas till the end of the November I have Halloween on my kitchen table and fall in my living room I will put more fall out after Halloween have a good weekend
Sounds good!
You too 🤎
The house looks very nice. I like hydrangeas too they can work for every season. Gosh we have so many traditions but a few we have is every season we would go through toys and clothes and make donation bins this was especially important prior to Christmas. I wanted the kids to be thankful for what they had and get a spirit of helping others and pay it forward. We also always decorate for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving and of course the kids would help! We would have leftovers for lunch, put on Christmas music and just have a blast. I cook starting on Wed for Thanksgiving so all the kids would help and assist with cleaning, prep and cooking. my boys and my girls it is important for all to know what to do. In the different seasons we would have movie themed nights, dance parties and me and my girls would do Gimore girl days (watch the show, have a lunch inspired by the show, listen to that kind of music and do some home spa treatments) Take care hope your Granpa is doing well. Have a nice week
I love it all!! I watched Gilmore girls last night 🤪
I too might start having my kids make a donation bin. Great way to be in the spirit ❤️❤️🙏🏼
I am 63 so I grew up in a different time... The big multi colored lights on the tree, the silver icicles, we NEVER had even 1 present under our tree until Christmas morning,,, The gifts from Santa were always assembled and NEVER wrapped... we always went driving around town and looked at Christmas lights as a family and they had a live nativity in town and I loved going and seeing the donkey and the sheep. My husband and I began a tradition with our boys, he would always read Luke chapter 2 before opening gifts on Christmas morning, but he would draw it out and sometimes lose his place and have to begin again, which KILLED my 2 boys because they had to wait until the bible story was over before they could get in their stockings!
Very cozy.I love the fall colors all yearbut no pumpkins inside.
Traditions are memory makers, if you folks your pillow in half it makes it easier to put in pillow covers
Thank you! Lol
I love this . I will start adding in winter decor in a couple of weeks . We’ve already had our first freeze here in Missouri a couple of weeks ago. 38 tomorrow will be the low .
Man! It’s been in thigh 80’s here in the afternoons. We have cooler mornings and that’s all! lol 😊
Lovely 🤎🍂🧡🫶
The amber glass candle is GORGEOUS!! Could you tell me where you purchased the stir spoons with the pumpkin & leaf design at top? Thanks! Kelsey if you’ll fold the pillow inserts in half lengthwise it’s a lot easier to put in then straighten out inside the pillow covers- I use them all seasons👍
I think they came from Hobby Lobby I want some too.
Thank you!
They are from hobby lobby :) 🤎
Hi Kelsey! Another beautiful job decorating. You should be an interior designer. Have a great week ❤

As good as you decorate for Fall I’m sure your Christmas decor will be beautiful too. Do you put up real or artificial Tree?
Artificial!
@@Fivebirdsnest So do I😀
Absolutely beautiful.
Did you take ballet lessons?
I did as a very young child! 🤎
I was a cheerleader most of my life though ☺️
I also took ballet lessons in grammar school and I can spot ballet grace a mile away.
