I do not like coming back from a trip to a messy house.
I got a new rug at Ross, so we're putting it out in this video.
I also have a couple other small products to share with you guys.
I hope I motivate or at least inspire you with something this week!

You're not alone on cleaning before a vacation. Your attitude about the ruined rug is a good one. It's just stuff, but you get a great story to bug your son when he's older😂. A little tip for flies...Irish spring soap in a knee high panty hose tied or tacked by each door. Every once in a while I wet them and refresh the smell. I hardly have any flies all summer. I love your reset videos. It always feels so good to get things ready for the upcoming week. I can relate to your poop-on-the-rug story! When my sons were little boys, they had bunk beds. My oldest was on the top bunk, playing, and suddenly had to vomit......over the side of the bunk bed. It ran all down the side of the bunk to the lower bunk and all over the bins of toys on the floor below. 😱 It was definitely one of those moments. 🤣🤣🤣

I do the same when going away. My 5 hr dive week long stay trip to visit my grands is quickly approaching, so Im in the mega prepping and packing mode. My daughter did the same with rugs and furniture when my grands were little, alot of folks do! Now she is having her nice furnishings since they are older. Arent pillows expensive!? I cant belive the deal you got!❤ Enjoy your trip 😊

A clean house coming home from a trip is sometimes better than the trip! Also you poop rug can be brought to a manual car wash and sprayed clean or power wash it at home! Great video as always!!

Hi Kelsey..love your rug and pillows. Yes, I never go on vacation pr a trip to family without cleaning first. I dont want to come home to a dirty house or if something happened to us and someone had to come in, I do not want them to see a dirty house. 😂You are like me...always doing something. I love the rug although I was surprised you got one with white in it. The new pillows look great on the couch and go well with the rug. I’m so sorry about the circumstances w/the old rug - you poor thing! I hope y’all have a good trip.

I hope you have a safe and fun trip! I always love to clean before a trip. Like you, I want to come home to it clean so I can rest. I understand about a rug and small children, buy an inexpensive one to get through those few years. It does look very nice, though and the pilllows compliment it well! Tfs❤

We have the Bug A-Salt gun which my husband uses to kill the flies. We are in Central WA and it’s been so bad this year. Anyway, the salt gun works great but then you have table salt everywhere 😅 better than annoying flies I guess!
Hi Kelsey, your home looks so warm and cozy. When my rwin boys were babies, they would climb out of their cribs, so I put their mattresss on the floor, and one day during their nap I went to check on them. They had both pulled off their diapers. Every inch of the walls they could reach was painted in poo, and my wood floors were covered and not to mention it was under their fingernails and between their teeth. I stood there and just cried. When my son was little he took his diaper off, pooed in his Cincinnati Reds helmet and proceeded to paint the walls not to mention himself. It seems like it’s a boy thing, my daughter never did anything like that. I also miss the days of, what will he get himself into today.

I with you sweetie..if we leave for any length of time, I'm gonna make sure this home is clean too..I hate to try n come home n have to clean up any, when we are so tired...I hate yall had the lil accident on yalls rug..it is hard to keep everything up..your home on your videos, always looks very good decorated n looks clean. Great job with 3 little ones..my Daddy is passed away, and wow how I miss him..hope your husband had a great father's day..thanks so much for sharing..

Same here girl! I want things done before i leave even if its only for a couple nights! Honey its just normal mom life! We've all been there in some shape or form! If anyone has babies or small children, we've had our moments! Don't feel bad about anything, its smarter to have inexpensive things now & get nice things later than to have them now and the get ruined and you still have to replace them. I think you're really smart!😉 Its not a bad rug.. it matches and looks nice! It looks really soft. I tell my son, which has been married almost 2yrs & has a 9mth old little girl, that adulting just sucks sometimes.. And Its not always easy, but you can do it! You get your strength from the Lord and push thru. The pillows look really nice too. I have a 3yr old and almost 5yr old grandkids that are with us very often.. the car is never clean🥴 I pray you guys have a safe trip and enjoy every minute of your time away with family!🙏🏻

I STARTED COLLECTING THOSE THIN CHEAP EYE GLASS CASES LOL FOR MY KIDS AND THEN GRANDBABIES TO EAT POPCYCLES ... AND I STILL DO. ... AND CAN BE THROWN IN THE WASH.

What kind of sweeper do you use for cleaning your floors? Your house looks pretty!
Shark navigator for my vacuum and then a tineco for wet/ dry vacuum..
I also use an Ocedar mop !
