its not a movie but if you wanted a show transformers: prime is considered the best transformers show of all time or 2nd best to g1 but it is also my favourite and top show from transformers
y'all youngns don't know but this was one of the first american cartoons where it didn't matter if characters were ripped apart or shot n killed cuz they actually were not human though despite being more human then meets the eyes
This is the best Transformers movie. The scene where we are first introduced to Blackout when he attacks the military base is one of my favorite action scenes of all time.
The scene with Optimus, Ironhide, Ratchet and Jazz arriving on Earth will always give me the good kind of chills. Between the animation of their transformation and the score, it's incredible to witness.
I was just thinking that. I wasn't a huge transformers fan as a child, and still loved this movie so much. I can only imagine the excitement seeing that blue big rig for the first time lmao
Saw this in the theater with my dad and we loved it! Michael Bay originally turned down the job at first, because the thought the idea of directing a kids movies was a stupid idea, until he read the script and jumped onboard. Robert Zemeckis and Joseph Khan were considered to direct the project, before Bay was picked by producer Steven Spielberg. The climax of the movie was going to take place in the Grand Canyon, but it was later changed to Los Angeles as both the human soldiers and Autobots try to take down the Decepticons. Originally, it was going to be more a disaster type movie as the human characters, told from their perspective, would get caught in the crossfire and the Autobots and Decepticons had no speaking lines at all.
Michael Bay was asked when he knew it was going to be a blockbuster and replied that it was filming the Blackout scene with soldiers. He said, "This is going to sound ridiculous but pretend you're being chased by a giant robot," and they're faces all lit up and they all wanted to know which Transformers they were in the scene with.
Bro, 15 years later and I’m coming back to this movie a 2nd time realizing how good we had it with movies back then. Movies are getting slowly back to better quality today, but not nearly enough as back then.
I miss Bernie Mac. 😢 Saw this in the theater with my buddy. The graphics were cutting edge and just blew our minds. Nonstop action and entertainment. Great plot. But when that AC-130 ripped off those Vulcan guns, it was a thing of glory.
Arrival to Earth is one of the best scenes in cinema. It's so full of fan service with the sensation of Here are your guardians, your protectors, such a feeling of Hope combined with phenomenal music and visuals.
I remember sitting down watching this in theatres and everyone was just amazed! The beginning with Blackout destroying the military base will go down as one of the best scenes in history!
i saw it in theaters and it was packed. ppl were standing in the aisles. as soon as blackout transformed with that iconic sound, ppl were whistling and cheering. it was awesome.
That police car is known as barricade. He’s the cop of the Decepticons, he doesn’t take nonsense and he’s quite aggresive. The side of him says “to punish and enslave”
I have turned my own car into a slightly modified version of Barricade have all the same decals except on my car it says security on every place it says police on Barricade. I also drive a different model car than the Saleen Mustang Barricade turns into.
this is probably my all time most favorite movie. I could literally recite it word for word end to end. Still gives me shivers seeing them transform. If you keep watching the movies, they get even more over the top.
I don't care what anyone in the fandom says, this movie is a genuine masterpiece! Anyone who says otherwise is either lying, or is an absolute clown Edit: it's such a massive part of my childhood, and introduced me to the world of rock and metal, especially Linkin park, Linkin park saved my life, chester saved my life, in turn, so did transformers as a franchise, so I loathe when people talk shxt about it
you realize other people are allowed to think the things you like are stupid right? you can still like them and you don't have to feel any kind of way about it. you don't get to control what other people like. it's easy to see why you had some issues.
For those who were not transformers cartoon or comic fans. The battle between Prime and Megatron is so iconic and sad because before the Transformers species split, Prime and Megatron were like brothers.
17:55 That's actually a concept for the that particular Camaro. They used allowed the producers to use it to show it off in order to get people to buy it. So you can think transformers for that car becoming so popular
I grew up with the cartoons, so the whole cgi of them transforming was so sick, the designs as well. They even kept the original voice for Optimus Prime, so I was so happy because this was my entire childhood. I kinda do wish we got more Starscream, he was quite important for Megatron being his servant.
I remember watching this in theaters. The scene when the Autobots arrive you could hear everyone kind of guessing which transformer each one was. Then we saw the semi-truck drive past and everyone stood up and cheered "Optimus!" I have never seen that kind of reaction to a character in a movie before or since, and I will remember it until I die.
Arrival to Earth is my personal favorite score of all time. The first Transformers for me was something I used to watch as a kid all the time, it's synonymous with a simpler, happier time in my life and will forever remain special to me. The scene when they're all crash landing the planet and the song plays always give me chills... also this started my obsession with Megan Fox as a kid, naturally.
You know you're old when it surprises you that someone can't think of "Boom box". No offense to anyone, but I apparently am VERY old . This movie was really good, subsequent ones not quite as much, but still good. Great reaction
This film is incredibly nostalgic I always revisit it I love it Autobot roll call Optimus Prime Turns into Peterbilt 379 Semi Truck Bumblebee: 1977 Chevrolet Camaro and a 2006 Chevrolet Camaro Ironhide: GMC Topkick 4500 pickup/ute Ratchet: Los Angeles Fire Department Search and Rescue 2007 Hummer H2 Jazz: Pontiac Solstice Custom Hardtop GXP Decepticon roll call: Megatron: Cybertronian jet Starscream: Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor Fighter Jet Blackout: Sikorsky MH-53J Pavelow III Military Helicopter Scorponok: a Scorpion who doesn't Transform sadly Barricade: Saleen S281E Ford Mustang Bonecrusher: a Military Buffalo mine clearing Vehicle (The Decepticon who skates along the freeway with the rakes on his back that are on a crane arm basically folded along the top right side of his vehicle mode and splits in half for robot mode and Optimus Fights him after falling off that Overpass) Brawl: (also known as Devastator) M1A1 Abrams Tank Frenzy: PGX Boombox and Nokia 8800 cellphone I knew a lot of the Vehicle modes already I did have to research a few of them though
This is the best Transformers movie by far! The soundtrack, fight scenes, and character development are all fantastic! The plot is also riveting and engaging, and the transformations have INCREDIBLY realistic CGI for a movie that came out 15 years ago! This is my favorite childhood movie and I’m glad you guys liked it! Great video! 👍🏻👍🏻
I don't care what others say. But I love all five Transformers movies. For me, these are the best films to just have fun and switch off. just having a great time and i love the great music by steve jablonsky!!!! i also like the films of michael bay he knows how to create really great heroic moments. more than anyone else! pearl harbor isn't my favorite, but there are particularly strong scenes, especially in the director's cut.
I don't love all five but the ones I DO like, I like a hell of a lot. This one. Dark of the Moon and Age of Extinction. Revenge of the Fallen and The Last Knight have some good things in them but I don't feel that exhilaration that the other three seem to effortlessly produce..
It's nice to watch this movie with people that don't have the "baggage" of being fans of the original Transformers animated series, myself included. So, thank you very much for your reaction. There's way too much for me to go into all the things I didn't like about this film. But, I can appreciate how people that aren't "in the know" can enjoy this movie for what it is.
You’re out in front of most react channels tackling this film, well done. The really interesting thing would be how folks of your generation would cold react to the 1986 animated Transformers: The Movie. That’s the point where the old cartoon took itself very seriously.
one thing i like about them is they're not incessantly talking, making a joke every two seconds. they're enjoying the movie, like normal, mature ppl. i've seen some of the other reactors and after 5 min you're like, "just enjoy the movie you don't have to be yelling nonstop"
Imagine being a kid watching TransFormers cartoons in the 80s, always imagining how it could look if it was real, to seeing this in the cinema... Pretty much everything I imagined for 20 years, brought to life... and now this movie is like 16 years old. Man I feel old! 🤣
I saw this in theaters when it came out and it was DOPE!! Glad y'all checked it out. You might like transformers 2 and 3 too. And this movie launched that style of camaro in 2007 btw
12:08 based off a true story in 1983's Invasion of Grenada where a U.S. Navy Seal was trying to make an emergency call and was asked to use a credit card.
Your question on the new Camaro. In this movie the Camaro was a prototype. Built on the underpinnings of a early 2000's Pontiac GTO. The new Camaro came out 2 years later.
Just finished watching the lone survivor reaction for like the 3rd time. Y’all should react to Marcus Lutrells speech. It really breaks it down even more he is an inspiring human being.
I'm glad you guys are watching the Transformers films. I can't wait to see you react to the others especially 3 which is called Dark of the Moon which is personal My favorite
all time favorite movie premiere I've been to! I remember seeing this with my older brother when it first came out. I was in elementary when it released. It was my first midnight premiere right at 12am. sold out theater, that was my first time I got to experience a loud crowd, people cheering, yelling, clapping, through the entire movie! it was an unforgettable experience! I'm still impressed with the realistic and fluidity of the CGI in this movie! especially for it's time! incredible. A whole lot better than most current movies's CGI! glad you guys loved it! can't wait for more reactions.
30:43 - not only is that a fully practical stunt shot right there, a stunt driver _did indeed_ get that semi-truck to powerslide, you can go to *that very road* today and STILL find the skidmarks Optimus left behind at; _Rosamond Blvd, Lancaster CA,_ this road is in proximity to the military base this and the other Transformers movies were filmed at, but the road itself is NOT a restricted area.
Never had a problem with the first few of these films. Yeah the CG is epic and yes in the first it really is "epic" to Finally see the live action version of something a LOT of us grew up with. However the best about this film? That god damn sweet sweet SOUNDTRACK!!!!
This is the one that set it off! To this day it’s the best in the series in my opinion. From here it just gets crazier and you might feel a type of way about, but it’s all fun lol. I hope you guys are excited to see Transformers: Rise of the beasts! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🔥🔥🔥🔥
9:43- Killed them with a diss track. 11:47- One of the coolest moments in the whole movie series. Scorpion coming out of the ground. That and the moment you realize that jet isn't a real jet.
I love them all, a lot Of people trash them but honestly there isn’t a single one I don’t like. You guys should react to the rest! There’s a new one coming out this year as well!
I’ve loved Transformers since I was a kid. I still have a ton of them. The ones from the movies I panted to make them more accurate. But this movie is one of my favorites. When Optimus Prime transforms, damn I was a kid again. Love your reaction to this film. ❤
I remember seeing this when it came out in theaters. I was 6 years old. And to this day it has to be one of my favorite movies. I never get tired of it.
TRANSFORMERS I FREAKING LOVE THIS MOVIE AND THIS FRANCHISE AND LAST YEAR IN JULY I ACTUALLY GOT TO SEE THIS MOVIE IN THEATERS FOR ITS 15TH ANNIVERSARY AND IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
18:00 if i'm not mistaken, before this movie came out, Chevrolet nearly discontinued the Camaro line, but this movie single-handedly made Camaro as one of the most iconic and famous car ever
The thing that makes this one the best is that it’s not too much and not too little and the score completes it. I still believe this is the best the entire franchise. The Arrival to Earth is just *chef kiss*
About the Camaro, that one was only a concept at the time the movie was made. It was actually built on a Pontiac GTO frame if I'm not mistaken. But the popularity of the movie boosted the demand enough for Chevy to start production on them
I absolutely love this movie its the best one and favorite as a kid the highlight of this movies when Glenn tells Maggie how to deal with the cops and breaks as soon as they drop the file
Folks still had to wait 3 years to get their hands on the 'new' Camaro here. In this movie the new is actually the 04-06 GTO but modified and has what was the concept body for the Camaro.
chevy actually used this movie to introduce the redesigned Camaro which was set to hit the market in 2009, this movie is pretty much the reason why this version of the Camaro became soo popular
Your question about when the Camaro dropped: so the Camaro was just a prototype in this movie and wasn't to be released until 2009. The door handles on the car for this film weren't even real, they were stickers
My brothers and I grew up with these guys, mostly Beast Wars. But when we saw the preview in the movie theater, my oldest stood up and said, "We are so seeing this!" And it did not disappoint any of us.
I went to go see this movie thinking it'd be some goofy kids movie. I. Was. Wrong. This movie, by it's second weekend, EXPLODED in popularity. They had kept most of the cooler stuff you see under wraps. It introduced us to Megan Fox lol, everything about it was phenomenal at the time. Definitely the summer blockbuster of the year that year. I think I saw it 3-4 times as different people wanted to see it, I'd tag along.
I’m glad y’all liked this movie. I see so many people that try to hate on the transformers movies. It’s entertainment. Such a great movie. You don’t have to have the top actors and best dramatic scenes to make a great movie.
Yeah this movie was made when that Camaro was still a concept car. That model Camaro was still just a leak when this movie came out. It made that scene so epic. If I remember correctly you could not buy that new model Camaro yet.
This has the 1980s vibe of the cartoon back in the day. So it's not a childish cartoon like the tone of today. It has the magic and maturity of the 80s generation of kids. Totally different.
If y'all wanna know the decepticons then here are the names of them The tank: brawl The decepticon who got his head stabed: bonecrusher The helicopter: blackout The police: barricade Lastly, the jet is starscream
Till this day I remember this whole franchise as one of THE best. The music, the fights, animations aged like a fine wine. Shia with his phenomenal acting as well. This young and natural Megan fox is still my crush to this day. I cannot believe how she destroyed her perfect body with so much stuff… look at this natural beauty bro 😅

IMO transformers 3 was the best. Action was insane, and cut a lot of the BS.
Ummm, you're all wrong. Transformers The Movie (1986) is the best Transformers movie. By far.
This one is pretty good though. The sequels are all meh.
The scene with Optimus, Ironhide, Ratchet and Jazz arriving on Earth will always give me the good kind of chills. Between the animation of their transformation and the score, it's incredible to witness.

I remember seeing this when it came out in theaters. I was 6 years old. And to this day it has to be one of my favorite movies. I never get tired of it.
This was a GREAT first live-action Transformers movie!
(At 12:00) Serpent? That's Scorponok, like what he's named after, he's a Scorpion.
TRANSFORMERS I FREAKING LOVE THIS MOVIE AND THIS FRANCHISE AND LAST YEAR IN JULY I ACTUALLY GOT TO SEE THIS MOVIE IN THEATERS FOR ITS 15TH ANNIVERSARY AND IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yessirrrr!!!! I love the Transformers franchise. I grew up on the franchise since I was 3. Best reaction ever! And Rip to Bernie Mac.🕊🙏🏽🔥🔥💯💯
A great movie. When this came out us old people finally got to see our cartoon show come to life. So well done. Thank god they never made another...
The theme for this movie is an absolute banger
18:00 if i'm not mistaken, before this movie came out, Chevrolet nearly discontinued the Camaro line, but this movie single-handedly made Camaro as one of the most iconic and famous car ever
The thing that makes this one the best is that it’s not too much and not too little and the score completes it. I still believe this is the best the entire franchise. The Arrival to Earth is just *chef kiss*
That 2007 CGI looking still holds up beautifully and looks better than most CGI from recent films. :O
Fun fact the scorpion transformer is a whole lot bigger in the comics and other cartoons
The Perfect Mix is a great name for y’all. Chemistry on point
Transformers was my childhood I have theDanes, the toys, and the birthday memories and cannot wait for the new movie and possibly games
Please watch the rest of the series. Especially Bumblebee.
This movie, and Bumblebee specifically, are the reason they kept making Camaros.
Folks still had to wait 3 years to get their hands on the 'new' Camaro here. In this movie the new is actually the 04-06 GTO but modified and has what was the concept body for the Camaro.
Its so impressive how a movie from 2007 with so much CGI has held up so well. CGI isn't bad, lazy or cheap use of CGI is.
4:41 I actually met Bernie Mac in person at the shooting for a movie called Soul Man. Sadly he died shortly after completing the movie. 😢
I am so looking forward to Rise of the Beasts whenever it comes out, I LOVE transformers so much
This Movie is what Made me a Transformers Fan. And it did one Hell of a Job
chevy actually used this movie to introduce the redesigned Camaro which was set to hit the market in 2009, this movie is pretty much the reason why this version of the Camaro became soo popular
I feel like some police officers saw Barricade's "punish and enslave" slogan on the police car and thought "you know what, I like that"
Not sure if you should watch past the first two, but I guess it's a mindless fun movies. Especially if you're really into scifi, mechs and stuff 🙂
The second one was horrendous lol
Third one was better than that but still not as good as this one. This is really the only Bayformers worth watching.
@@SliderFury1 I can't remember the plot of the 2nd one to be honest 😂 but I remembered watching the first 3 but can't stomach the ones after.
Honestly…my favourite couple (only I think) I watch on RUclips !! All your commentary, edits, movie choices are fab🎉
You don't need to try to hate them some of them (AOE and TLK and ROTF) kinda sucked
Transformers prime is the best tf cartoon ngl and G1 ofc
Yeah this movie was made when that Camaro was still a concept car. That model Camaro was still just a leak when this movie came out. It made that scene so epic. If I remember correctly you could not buy that new model Camaro yet.
You don't know how the audiences went crazy when they saw Optimus transform for the first time. I still love how the first movie did transformations.
oh i do. the theater went wild when prime rolled up and transformed.
Funny enough the Camaro wasn’t out at all yet, that is a 2006 concept car that was like $100k, the real production was released 2010.
31:28- I love seeing the Rollerblading bot. So cool. 32:20- Another super cool moment. The "That Jet ain't a Jet" moment.
This has the 1980s vibe of the cartoon back in the day. So it's not a childish cartoon like the tone of today. It has the magic and maturity of the 80s generation of kids. Totally different.
If y'all wanna know the decepticons then here are the names of them
The tank: brawl
The decepticon who got his head stabed: bonecrusher
The helicopter: blackout
The police: barricade
Lastly, the jet is starscream
Till this day I remember this whole franchise as one of THE best. The music, the fights, animations aged like a fine wine. Shia with his phenomenal acting as well.
This young and natural Megan fox is still my crush to this day. I cannot believe how she destroyed her perfect body with so much stuff… look at this natural beauty bro 😅
This is by far the best transformers movie
