  • This 10-minute, gentle exercise routine can be followed along after breast cancer surgery or radiation to address tightness, chest pain, posture, or restrictions. breast cancer surgery, like a mastectomy, and radiation therapy to the breast can cause tightness that lingers months to years. This is an exercise for cancer survivors to address upper body tightness and pain. Breast cancer exercises should be gentle, and cleared by the doctor for safety, but are crucial to long-term function and quality of life.

Thank you! I appreciate these, they make me feel normal. The surgical areas are always tight and tender to sore and sometimes sharp phantom pains. My doctors don't really understand bc they've never experienced it,, thankfully. These will help. 🙏🏽

I've recovered pretty well from my lumpectomy so the stretching went, luckily for me, pretty easy. But I'm super weak from chemo so this felt like a hard workout for my arms. I feel so weak I hate it. Thank you for this video. I think I will do it daily until it becomes easier on my arms. This is perfect for me to ease back into things.
I also want to say thank you for taking your time in each move and allowing us to switch positions without feeling rushed. It's those things that make for excellent videos. Well done!

as an FYI I was able to do these stretches until about radiation session 20, then I had to take a break as my skin was too sensitive . I 've been able to start again just 10 days past my last session . I had 30 in total. 25 full chest, 5 boost. Hope this encourages someone. It truly helps!!

3 months post mastectomy and 2 weeks post radiation. Feeling very tight. Well this video is a miracle. I can’t believe how high I could reach on the wall when I tried after! Amazing.
