This is such a huge story that it could only be adapted into multiple animated series with cross-over coordination with the likes of the D.C. UNIVERSE t.v. shows on the CW network; BUT with the freedom of a streaming service platform. It really sucks that Rob Liefeld is "divorced" from the rights of YOUNGBLOOD at this time and had to terminate the deal with Netflix earlier this year. I was SO LOOKING FORWARD TO WHAT THEY COULD PULL OFF THERE. Great job with these entries.👍👍
I didn't know the Netflix deal was terminated. That is tragic. Youngblood could be huge on television or the silver screen, if handled properly. Part Marvel Action Spectacle and part MTV's Real World. No other team has that celebrity edge -- it gives them something really unique that has never been fully explored. Youngblood #9 by Jim Valentino did it great with his Badrock story (from Image X Month).
@@CryptoComics I agree. The news on the Netflix deal falling apart was out apparently earlier this year but I only found out recently too. To be fair, I'm not sure how Netflix would have built an EXTREME UNIVERSE of cross-connected shows without access to YOUNGBLOOD because of the rights not in Rob Liefeld's hands. That's the foundation to everything in the EXTREME UNIVERSE. They encounter all of the other characters with ongoing comic series so regularly, the shows would best be served in anime style and tone; if they pick the right studio. I think MAD HOUSE would be a great possibility. (if you are not familiar, they made 4 Marvel 12-episode limited series each based on BLADE, IRON MAN, WOLVERINE, and X-MEN. They were broadcast exclusively on G4 cable channel a few years back and are exceptionally well done.)
Do you know which issue it was in? Maybe search mycomicshop.com for the book and let me know. It's possibly in my collection, unless it's Brigade and Bloodstrike-I only have a few of those.
I cannot believe that no one has talked about asking an Image Comics adaptation into film. If you look at the Final comic in this crossover you will see I figured out who Crypt was before it ended. I was published in the last issue. MATT E. from Youngstown, OH.
Vail Colorado - pleasurable - i read 2 books by 2 different authors who turture people in the ways and they are both from Vail Colorado!!! We Don't Want Anyone 2 Know What Went on Here!!!!
The way this book retcons why Graves formed Youngblood sounded really familar to me, then I figured out why, its a rip off of Raven forming the New Teen Titans so they can defeat Trigon. LIEfeld has no shame
@@CryptoComics Think about it. Someone who is part demon (Raven/Graves) is putting together a team of young heroes (Teen Titans/Youngblood) in order to stop a bigger demonic threat (Trigon/Lord Chapel)
I missed out on this crossover back in the day. After a while, i realized how all this stuff just sucked ass. This is no exception. They take 2 pages of dialogue and stretch the hell out of it. As cool as the characters COULD have been, they're so GODDAMN over dramatic, they make Man of Steel seem campy in comparison....
I’m always fascinated by the idea pitting demons against aliens and seeing how strong one is compared to the other. 🤔

Not sure about the Titans part, but you're correct about the no shame aspect of your comment.
