YOOO THE GAME YOU SHOW AT 14:13 IS ONE I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR THE NAME OF FOR 20 YEARS!!! 😭 I played it as a kid, I don't know how I got it, but I had it on a cartridge game. I've genuinely been trying to figure out what it was for forever. This is amazing
Definitely. A guy named Dennis collects had some more stores in Osaka and Kyoto if you are going out there. Also made a video on akiharbara which is filled with video game stores
I’ve seen all from and traveling the world from 1980-Now best places to get games in Japan are in Tokyo Osaka or Kyoto from Hardoff Bookoff Hobbyoff Traders Suragaya Thrift Stores and Sweet Potato
That’s because the stock OS is region locked. Yes, most people can soft mod and crack it to not be, but it is still technically region locked. You’d be surprised at the amount of people that brick consoles even with easily laid out simple step by step instructions. Additionally some people just don’t like modding for w/e reason.
Love the way you edit your game hunting videos in Japan! Keep up the great work, Paul!
Thank you, that means a lot! My algorithm skews heavy towards shorts, so I’m just happy anybody watches my long form content 🙏🏼

Nice, it looks like one of those Kunio-kun / river city ransom type games but with soccer. Super Dodge Ball is one of my favorite NES games period.
Can't believe I've never heard of Bookoff. I'm going to Japan in two weeks and I'll definitely be checking some of these out.
the best ones are the ones furthest from tokyo

was that an “ab-so-lutely” like Tim & Eric?
lol, I said it organically, but as I edited everytime I passed that clip it was def Tim and Eric-esk. That endcard is seared into my brain stem
@@ThePaulWeber haha, I’m glad you knew what I was talking about. Apparently that’s an old home video of Tim’s Dad.
i cant believe you saying the 3ds is region locked in 2024 its incredibly easy to make region free you can even change the language to english
That’s because the stock OS is region locked.
