  • I return to the trashy houses site I’ve been to multiple times with the NOX800 and 6 inch coil. In 2hrs I manage to score a number of predecimals. Showing live digs, TID, 2D screen. Enjoy learning and watching what the Manticore is capable of. It absolutely compliments the Nox800 and 6” coil in my opinion.

Great video mate, that's a genuine day out metal detecting. A few nice finds and a lot of trash. I see your lucky and comfy metal detecting shoes are still holding out 👌. I thought you were going to get a rams head on that hunt. Hopefully luck will be on your side next hunt. Look forward to your next upload. 👍

Thanks Mitch. I’m due for a large silver or 2. This hunt was only 2 hrs but I’ve got about a 4hr window next hunt!! So fingers crossed 🤞

Thanks for the reply Camille, I look forward to seeing your next video as I can no longer walk far enough to do any metal detecting. Watching you out metal detecting with or without the kids is the next best thing. I'll continue to watch as long as you still post your adventures.

Just starting off with the Manticore and trying to watch read and work out the way people are operating and using it. Interesting to see how you set your discrimination pattern.
No lower ferrous limits and a swag of low conductivity blocked out.
    Thanks

Hi and welcome to the Manti club. I use default upper and lower limits. And because it’s an old multiples house site with tiny bits of metal rubbish everywhere I wasn’t digging the low TID. I do return to sites and hunt in All Metal which includes all TID. For the purpose of this video I was seeing if the Manti could separate the good high targets from the trash. Cheers and good luck.

Thanks Jason. It’s so trashy. Hard to explain. But so much metal crap I didn’t think I’d find anything much. But it was more treasure than trash. Happy hunting!!

What do you use in your tumbler to clean stuff up?
I use aquarium gravel and dish soap and it just seems to take a long time to clean bits of stuff up.

I use aquarium gravel and a bit of dish soap and some sand. Jewellers shot is good too if you can get it. Those different shape stainless steel bits. Thanks for watching!! Happy hunting to you.
