Thank you!
These videos are designed for guitar beginners or those with only limited guitar knowledge. They use simple chord shapes as much as possible and do not necessarily represent the way in which the original song was originally played. They are designed as practice tools to supplement your other learning methods. Information is provided on screen for both right and left-handed players!
This song is played with a capo on fret 2 and utilises slightly altered versions of standard chords which give everything a different sound. Notably the Gsus4 (which is a G major with an extra note, but requires you to change the way you play the G) and Fsus2, which sounds best if you can use your thumb to play the F on the low E string.
Rhythm wise, it requires an almost violent way of playing, as the chords are sliced into low hits and high hits, and you need to really whack some of them out and then mute them quickly to achieve a sort of "sputtering" effect.

I was going to learn this song…so clicked..then realized the name of the channel. I’m a right handed…BUT…. This is almost an easier way to watch the fretting hand for me! Nice job!
Easy great Lesson here!
Finally! Thank you! (Right-handed guitarist) :-)
great job love you work
thanks for this!
I'm a righty but this helped me big time. Thanks for sharing.
Can you do "Let It Ride" also by Ryan A. Thank you!
Very nice job. One of the frustrations for me, given my small hands, is to play the Fmaj7/Fsus2/Fadd9 with the thumb over the low E string -- Ryan uses that configuration all the time, both acoustically and electrically. Might be easier with a Fender like yours.
+Karl PK Believe me, I had a horrible time making this one because of those F chords. My thumb was dead by the end of it and it took a lot of concentration. I'm sure I fudged a lot of them.
Bang on! Go lefty.
Man I have been playing for years and I can tell you "get it" Cheers and thank you for your time pal!
Thank you!
Very nice job! For a significantly less talented yet similar lefty, can you do us a massive favour and give me a steer on tone setup you used, pedals/settings? Many thanks in advance.
Thanks! Nothing special here. I was using a modelling amp to simulate a Vox AC15, light distortion and a bunch of reverb, bridge pickup. Much of the tone comes from the heavy strumming attack on the chords.
I like it!
Nice!!!
Nice job!Where did you find the LH sea foam strat?
+Jammer Dood eBay many years ago!
What's the fill notes from the f back to am?
Which part do you mean specifically? There's just a fragment of a G chord usually in between F and Am.
@@LeftHandedGuitarist thanks for replying :) at 1:10 in the video I think it's A, c#, f#, c#. Not sure tho
@@radicalgambino2959 Yep, it's just the lower half of a G major chord. Low E string, D string, G+B strings, D string.
@@LeftHandedGuitarist I've just been practising it and it sounds cool on my acoustic. Wish I still had my telecaster though :(. Thanks for your reply I really appreciate it. Will check out some more of your videos now to see if there is anything else I can learn. If you ever want to do a jose gonzalez tutorial I would love that.
Yeah I can't do any of that. Well, fuck.
