The downside of this timer compared to their other models is that all cycles and stations are watered on the "how often" setting. You can't program station 3 to water every other day and station 1 to water every day. This is a huge downfall of this model.
Is it possible to run Cycle A every other day and Cycle B once or twice per week?
This is exactly what I wanted. Any luck finding the answer?
Do these valves work with any other sprinker timers, like B-hyve XR? I was hoping to find a way to use a sprinker controller but off a faucet... is there anyway to do that?
is this a two programmable hose system combined with two manual ? (because i only see two hub modules) what are the two other connectors for (the two without the hub thing) ? can you hook a hose garden to one of the other two ? will water come out or do we have to program the other two. i need 2 programmable and two manual always on.
Yep, this is correct.
My hose Faucet Watering Kit Comes with 4 Zones or 4 Stations. I think in the video Doesn't oue But Sets the one Timer that sets all the program. Or does it set the Timer for each Valve to Engage Automatically?.
I meant isnt She Using one setting To Do All of the Zones. As the Manifold comes with 4 Zones by changing The Solenoids to each Zone. Am I Correct Or just Getting Mixed Up. This is my First time. Anyone who More Information Please Let Me Know. Thanks.
Does anyone have problems with interval setting? i just started using it, trying to water every other day - and when I put in 2 days and check the next start time, it's always under 24 hours. That is after it's already run for the morning. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
i have the orbit 91591. It has worked well until yesterday. The timer and programming works but it is not turning the valves on properly. Valve 1 and 3 seem to be on continuously and Valve 2 and 4 don't turn on even when the timer shows it is instructing it to do so. I changed the batteries and reset things and reprogrammed but while the timer seems to show proper activity (ie turning on stations and counting intervals on the display), none of the valves are being instructed right. Do I replace the timer, the valves or buy a new system?
hello, we're sorry about the trouble. we'd need to get more info to tell what is causing the problem. Please note your timer may still be covered under warranty. Please reach out to our support team and they will get this resolved: www.orbitonline.com/contact-us/
I want stations to water at different times due to water pressure. Am I missing something? Does this not allow stations to be started at different times?
Yes, this allows for such operation. Note in the video: there are three cycles (A,B,C) and each cycle has each of the four stations. You can choose to have all stations run sequentially or exclude certain stations on a cycle. However, when stations are selected, they will run right after another for the allotted run time on that cycle. Therefore, to have stations run at different times you would need to set them on different cycles. This way you could, for example, have stations 1 & 3 run at 5:00 AM on cycle A and stations 2 & 4 run at 7:00 AM on cycle B, or any other combination. For further explanation, Please send us your contact info via one of the social media channels in the video descriptions and our support team will get in touch.
This needs to be made clear(er) from the outset.
Does this model can run 1 line multiples times a day? Let say if i want to run line 4 three times a day for 5 minutes each run and leave lines 1 to 3 run every other day. I watched your other video with paper illustrations to run 1 line with 2 start times.
yes, you would use the different programs to achieve this functionality.
@@orbitsprinklers can you give more information on how one would do this?
Anyone have issues with the clock resetting randomly? Then it deletes the settings.
What is the difference between model #B008CELK96 (blue..I don't see a model number) and #Orbit 58911 (green)?
Functionally they are the same. The color difference and where they are sold is the only difference.
@@orbitsprinklers thank you for your quick response.
