The person from Orbit assisted me patiently and was VERY knowledgeable. He helped me learn that the only problem was I had a "No AC" reading which meant that when we had a power outage due to this heat, the power strip the Orbit was plugged into inside was not reset. When the gentleman helped me get my sprinklers back on, my AC started working too. Whew! We thought a surge fried it. But he did not stop there. He walked me through programming it and even starting it manually. To think I was going to call a gardener because I did not want to wait on hold for 40 minutes. They picked up in 13! Thanks, Orbit!
I have the same problem....when you mention"the power strip the orbit was plugged" this power strip was reset on your home electrical panel or its a regular power strip with 4 or 5 places to plug in several items? Thanks

You should have listen to your dad while he was here, he was trying to teach you what you had to learn now you have to learn through the school of hard knocks! I love Orbit controllers, I've had two in 20 years and I recently bought a third one with remote to turn my DI water on and off in my driveway. I keep the remote in my car and anytime I want to rinse dust or bird poo off my car, I use the remote to turn on the water supply to my DI tanks in the backyard. I used to have to leave water turned on to my DI tanks out back just so I could use it in the driveway hose but the tanks cannot take constant water pressure and will blow their tops off sometimes if left under pressure. So I hooked 3/4 inch PVC pipe to the out side on my dual DI tanks and ran 40 feet of pipe to a hose spigot next to my driveway and hung a dedicated water hose next to it just for using DI water on the cars. When I turn on Orbit via the remote, the Orbit controller powers one inline sprinkler valve which is connected to a 3/4 inch PVC water supply hooked to the in-side on the dual DI tanks. Then about twice per week I use the remote to turn on my DI tank water, rinse my cars off and they pretty much stay clean all the time. I probably only use 3 to 5 gallons of water each time which is way less than washing the cars and the DI water is spot free. Our regular hose will leave horrible water spots on the cars, so Orbit's remote controlled unit and a dual DI tank set up saved the day.

Had my irrigation reworked some time ago, and, the wire colors at the controller were different than those at my solenoids. Thanks for including the manual station run procedure, helped me get everything running right (after my control box was broken into and everything was set to run for an hour a day... massive water bill) hopefully this takes care of it.

Glad I found this! Bought this outdoor timer last week, but being a dork I'm lost at installation, so had the gardener (very experienced) install.....but his lack of "Ingles" showed, so I found this to get the fine tuning down.
Been in my house for 4 years and they didn't set the system or show me how. So I just did what I felt was right, well it was wrong and been wrong for 4 years. Glad I found this video that showed me everything and now I'm good to go.

At 4:20 in the video you discuss different programs. I have one zone watering a garden and would like to have multiple start times for only that one zone. I have the 6 station timer. Can I set that one zone up on another program to have it have multiple start times? Does the system run all programs automatically, or does the user have to manually choose program A, B, or C?

HOW DONYOU SET THE DAY? It’s stuck on Thursday but it’s Sunday so it doesn’t matter the schedule I set it’s not calibrated.. video covered everything except what I needed.
I love mine. EXCEPT now in AUTO mode I am getting alternating screens between "Home Screen" and "Next Start Time" screen. No recent programming changes. The Home Screen should hold solid as in the video. All other settings are good as before. What am I missing?

Be nice if you would cover how you can make 6 lines run one at a time for say 10 minutes and the next for the same time, so on for 6 lines. I have not found how you can program 2 lines on A for example say 5 minutes apart. I can see A B C that is all that shows on my timer. I would love to be able to program two start times per A B or C. Every thing you talked about is the easy stuff, how about the hard stuff.

You mentioned you only need to enter one start time? I just want to make sure I’m understanding, does that mean if you enter one start time, it will program through all the stations? Or do you have to enter a different start time for every station?

It lowers the price of water from the city by 49%. But it’s sewer water so sometimes it has chunks of stuff in it. But it’s sure a lot cheaper!
