HUGE THANK YOU! I have been pulling my hair out with no manual for this system in unit I moved into! Bless you for your kindness in uploading this video! The Thunderbirds are GO! 💋 😘
Huge thanks my mom had new put in they had crazy times and book is a good start fire paper thanks you take your time to make a good to know how video sir thanks
my sprinklers would cycle twice and i couldn't figure out why! until I watched this.... I programed a second start time ,thinking it was for the next zone.... realized here watching that there's ONE start time and the clock cycles through the zones from that point. Thanks,
I have just 3 station's i set start 3 different times and 3 different runs but somehow it runs 2 times each station and can't figure out what i am doing wrong. Any input i would appreciate. Thank you.
Thank you so much! Question do you also need to schedule B, C or just A? Then if I want to check a certain station I can’t just look at say station 8? I have to let it run until it hits station 8?
Uh... how to set up more than one program (B and C)? Sorry I need step by step, explicit, otherwise being me, something will go wrong. Otherwise v. good
What if I have four channels. I go to start time A 1-4 and set the times at 2-3min apart from one another. And also run time A channels 1-4 at 2-3min?!😅 or do I need to chose start time/run time? A bit confused . Thanks in advance
I have the same sprinkler timer. I want it to water three times a week for three minutes. But it goes on three times a day on each watering day. Do the programs in the upper right corner (ABC) have something to do with this? If I punch "program" it seems to show just A. If I do not punch program "ABC" are visible in the upper right. Please explain if you know the answer. Thanks.
Model 57896 (6 Stations) 0:24 Factory Reset/Clear All Programs 0:52 SET CLOCK 1:17 SET DATE 1:56 START TIME 2:50 RUN TIME 3:02 HOW OFTEN Thanks for the video. QUESTION: I see it says "PROGRAM A" (2:07) If I set up another program (program B), is there a way to clear or delete that program without resetting the whole thing? Would I push the PROGRAM button then the CLEAR button? Thanks.
OMG, thank you so much for this video. I assume you have only one station to set. Does anyone know how to determine how many and what the numbers of stations are? I think I have 2 stations - does that mean they are A1 and A2 or is it A2 and B1? Any help greatly appreciated.
i’m gonna guess that the programs a,b, and c are the zones you just gotta change the “how often” so what days you want those to go off im not too sure either haven’t figured it out but that’s all i’ve thought of
I have my set up but if you noticed yours only offered 4 stations. Mine looks the same but I have 9 stations that are all plugged but the timer only offers 4 stations to set up. When I press the arrow it just goes 1, 2, 3, 4, and then back to 1.
6 area Orbit but at Start Time only 4 areas are displayed. On other menus (run time, how often etc) all zones are displayed and functioning but without Start time on 5 and 6, it obviously won't come on (except manually). Where did I go wrong?
Had to turn the volume because I could hardly hear what you were saying, but only to be startled by the OBNOXIOUS music, which was super loud, when you were moving the clock up.
So I bought a house with this exact model sprinkler system and when I programmed it the final numbers were blinking and yours were steady. Not sure if it matters but I have a front yard and back yard with 6 different stages where when one starts and stops the next stage starts and stops and so on.
I've had two of these units and I have each zone set for one watering a day . This unit will then spray several times. I also replaced it once and still no luck.
Forever and ever and ever to set times/hour as you said. No hour button. It's mind-boggling how orbit never bothered to program a momentary button to do so.
How do I turn off the INT setting? I tried the minus button, but it just changes the number of days in between waterings. Is there a way to delete a program without resetting the entire thing? Thank you!
The numbers on the panel of both old tried and true, and brand new orbit timers with brand new batteries are blinking. AS if it still want to be set. I put the settings where i want them, and turned dial, per instructions. So why still blinking? (for days, not just minutes). (There is no "enter" or "set" button on this model-62056).
I have the same question - I have four stations (1-4) and the whole thing repeats twice a day. I set up a different start time for each station, still doesn't work.
Recently had a power outage in my area. Which reset everything. Going through the process prior to seeing your video, i got the entire unit set up to automatically turn on 5am and 7pm. Switching the dial back to auto once completed. But the unit won't start watering at those times. I have to manually turn them on as it only works this way. thoughts?
You have to set a program for A, B and C to start at different times of the day, but make sure the days of the week are set to the same schedule. Just make sure to add up the times that each zone is running together to make sure your start time for program B is after program A is finished.
I am about to invest in the 12 sprinkler system on amazon. Does this box send out the signal to use all sprinkler heads at the same time? I am currently running about 45-48 psi water pressure and I am worried it will not be enough to power all 12 heads at once. Can I have 3 sprinkler heads running at once I have about 5500 sq feet Lawn. Or Will I need to get a new pump specifically for this system maybe pusing 70-75 psi to power all 12? THANKS!
My system will turn on my backyard sprinklers but will not shut them off after the duration time expires. They will continue running until I manually turn it off. Do you know how to fix this
Thank you. Question - Can I time the back yard to run the sprinkler for fewer minutes than the front yard? How would I set that up? I do not know what the difference in the letters ABC etc. I have rather small front and back yard.
Can you set program a and b to run on different days? Say I want program a to run daily, but I want program b to run every other day. Is that possible?
This was great. One other question tho-how do you set it to run only one station and not all of them? I will be taking my grass out of the backyard, so I’m letting it die, but still want to water the flower beds. How do I do that?
It is working with back up power maybe with a battery 🔋 so you have to plug it again in the socket so it will work from the main power source! Because with the battery doesn't have the necessary power to open the valves! and this will remove the message appearing on the screen ( No Ac)
I had the sprinkler set up the way I wanted but had to turn the system off for a few days because of a gopher problem. The gopher is gone, but the lawn needed water before the programmed day. I ran the system manually. But now I cannot get it back to the programmed days. I won't run automatically.
Great video thanks. After I press auto after selecting the days of the week to run the display is switching between the current time and ‘next start’ time and it just keeps switching back and forth, help!
I just installed two solenoid valves so that means I have two stations. How do I program one valve to run for two minutes for one area of my garden and then do the other one at a different time for nine minutes? This information seems impossible to find on all these youtube videos.
HUGE THANK YOU! I have been pulling my hair out with no manual for this system in unit I moved into! Bless you for your kindness in uploading this video! The Thunderbirds are GO! 💋 😘
Even though it's for 4 Zones, you only show how to set 1 zone. Would be helpful if you showed how to set a second zone with different run times, etc.
Yes! And as usual the engineering folks made the instructions incomplete to these things.
Thank you, very easy to follow. Music volume for the long wait to set time was startling as I watched it after everyone had gone to bed.
This instruction is helpful. The manual doesn’t have instruction on how to reset the clock!!!!!! Thanks for the info.
This is was a HUGE HELP! I wish we could've seen it done with multiple stations.
Set the minutes for station 1, then push de right arrow to move to station 2, push the arrow for station 3, etc...
You're an excellent teacher.
Thank you for getting right to the point, unlike all the never ending talker types.
Huge thanks my mom had new put in they had crazy times and book is a good start fire paper thanks you take your time to make a good to know how video sir thanks
Simple and easy and clear explanation. Great help. Thank you
Thank you so much it was a perfect tutorial. You made it so easy and I can’t thank you enough.
This was great. Easiest one I've seen. Thanks so much.
my sprinklers would cycle twice and i couldn't figure out why! until I watched this.... I programed a second start time ,thinking it was for the next zone.... realized here watching that there's ONE start time and the clock cycles through the zones from that point. Thanks,
What is the difference between programs A & B & C
I have just 3 station's i set start 3 different times and 3 different runs but somehow it runs 2 times each station and can't figure out what i am doing wrong. Any input i would appreciate. Thank you.
Even if this is another model it helped me a lot thank you so much!!
Thank you so much!
Question do you also need to schedule B, C or just A?
Then if I want to check a certain station I can’t just look at say station 8? I have to let it run until it hits station 8?
How does one get the timer to recognize when all cycles are complete? My system did not stop yesterday
Right on , but do we set up different zones? Like front yard zones and backyard zones?
Uh... how to set up more than one program (B and C)? Sorry I need step by step, explicit, otherwise being me, something will go wrong. Otherwise v. good
Each program “A,B,C” includes the stations.
Push the “right arrow” to cycle through the stations and adjust watering times.
How do you do different times of the day? example 8am. 8pm Monday-Sunday
phenomenal video WorldofTech. I broke the thumbs up on your video. Continue to keep up the superior work.
Thank you very much. You have helped this person out.🎉
Everything is cool until I dial it bak to AUTO and then the NO AC notification pops up. I don't know how to get the NO AC to go away.
😮
I want to set my seven days a week watering twice a day. How do I set that second water time? I just laid sod and it's turning brown.
We have at least 4zones. Do I have to program each one like in your video?
What if I have four channels. I go to start time A 1-4 and set the times at 2-3min apart from one another. And also run time A channels 1-4 at 2-3min?!😅 or do I need to chose start time/run time? A bit confused . Thanks in advance
I just upped my watering times and went to run the system manually and it did not take the new times? Any idea what I did wrong?

I have an orbit one connected to my water spigot. My son figured how to set the timer for each valve .
Great video. Helped me fix my system! Cheers!

Thanks and could you please explain the zones on each program and how to set them>

Timer is all set; but how do I get the manual to water each station when I push it; it won’t start the stations in sequence?
How do you turn off? I put the dial to off but it wont stop. Also how do you test manually?
Great video! Very helpful. Simple and to the point. Thanks!
How do you turn it on two times that day
How do you set it up to water twice a day everyday?
Thanks for this. Can you also please demonstrate how to turn off a particular sprinkler zone?
Thanks for this - I wonder what the "enter" button is for if you can just press the forward arrow to continue programming?
How do I turn off the INT setting? I tried the minus button, but it just changes the number of days in between waterings. Is there a way to delete a program without resetting the entire thing? Thank you!

How do you set the timer to 0 for watering duration? My timer has 1 to 184 or something like that
How do I set it for morning and night because we live in the high desert?
Will that run all the zones, one after another? Or do they all have to have separate start times? Mine seems to cycle through twice
I’d like to know this as well. Did you ever figure that out?
I have the same question - I have four stations (1-4) and the whole thing repeats twice a day. I set up a different start time for each station, still doesn't work.

Thumbs up on the tutorial. Thumbs way down on the loud music.
Agreed. Does that mean he breaks even?!
Great video thanks much! I have new sod and need to run 3 to 4 times a day for 5+ minutes how can I set up multiple starts during the same day?
You have to set a program for A, B and C to start at different times of the day, but make sure the days of the week are set to the same schedule. Just make sure to add up the times that each zone is running together to make sure your start time for program B is after program A is finished.
Hi, it's blinking on AUTO from MO 338 pm ABC to next start Tu program A to time next start 5am TU and water does not go on at 5. Thanks
Sure.Would like to know how to set up different stations
i have a orbit system i want to water 3 days a week front first then back at night how would i do that.?

Thanks for the info. Very helpful.
Can you please tell me how to delete a program? I have two watering programs and want to delete one. Thanks.
That’s the easy part I was hoping you would’ve gone a little little bit farther into the programming
Could be wrong but maybe the enter/manual button let's you manually enter hour and minute for set time?
Mute the thing due to ear busting music.. gee
I need help, I followed what you did but only station one works the rest of my station did not work 😥
My time and station screens keep blinking back and forth. I don’t know how to stop it.
My system will turn on my backyard sprinklers but will not shut them off after the duration time expires. They will continue running until I manually turn it off. Do you know how to fix this
james melton same problem
I have 5 stations installed but the timer only 4. Is there any way to add the 5th one? Thanks
Very helpful 👍🏼
Thanks!how can i shut down some of the station?
The digital display for my orbit model 57896 is no longer illuminated, but the sprinklers still run on schedule. What does this mean?
Thank you. Question - Can I time the back yard to run the sprinkler for fewer minutes than the front yard? How would I set that up? I do not know what the difference in the letters ABC etc. I have rather small front and back yard.
Yes. Individual zones can be set for specific run times.
@@jabernathy8759 The question is HOW to set up Not possible or not!!
Can you just reprogram the days to come on or do you have to completely reprogram the timer
This really helped me out👍
Hi. Can I run 2 zones at once?
Can you set program a and b to run on different days? Say I want program a to run daily, but I want program b to run every other day. Is that possible?
Orbit is so great customer service is amazing
This was great. One other question tho-how do you set it to run only one station and not all of them? I will be taking my grass out of the backyard, so I’m letting it die, but still want to water the flower beds. How do I do that?
Set up Zone A (Flower beds).
Set up Zone B: (Grass) Turn off
My sprinklers do not work, despite setting up the way your video says.
Any idea What might I have to do more
Thanks
WHAT IS THE BUDGET DIAL FOR ?
When I open my timer box it keeps going from time of day to Next Start time. Why ? Please !
Mine is doing the exact same thing, HELP ORBIT!
To set on odd days only do I just go to odd setting
thanks for the tutorial :)
After set up, mine showed NO AC on the rite side of screen! And the programming is not working.
How can I get ret of the message NO AC?
It is working with back up power maybe with a battery 🔋 so you have to plug it again in the socket so it will work from the main power source! Because with the battery doesn't have the necessary power to open the valves! and this will remove the message appearing on the screen ( No Ac)
Do I have to follow the same procedure for all 4 stations?
I had the sprinkler set up the way I wanted but had to turn the system off for a few days because of a gopher problem. The gopher is gone, but the lawn needed water before the programmed day. I ran the system manually. But now I cannot get it back to the programmed days. I won't run automatically.
Do you have the all the days you want in a striped box icon under the section: how often?
I bought one of this timers, and did everything you said here, but this isn't a good one. How do I get reimbursed from the company. Thx.
Thank you,so easy once you explain it!!
Great video thanks. After I press auto after selecting the days of the week to run the display is switching between the current time and ‘next start’ time and it just keeps switching back and forth, help!
That’s normal. It’s just letting you know that it is going to start soon which means you did it right! :)
@@jessicalewand2847 thanks for that info, that salient data is missing from their instructions….

my time clock keeps blinking from time to valvle start time

How do you turn on the sprinklers with the timer to test if they're working?

Turn the start time a few minutes after the clock time to see if all sprinklers are working correctly
How do you turn on and off the stations
