You're Welcome.
2 years later, you're still a legend
👏👏👏👏
This is so thorough, well-paced and clear that it has solved all of my basic questions about the unit. Thank you very much!
Omg thank you! Im usually good at figuring things out but this system is crazy. I read the manual last night and got even more confused. Like why so many hidden features lol. I will be watching more because Im have so many issues. Knowledge is power!!! Thank you
Thanks for the great info! Now I know how to program my sprinkler system in a house I bought a year ago and had no clue! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
Happy to hear this helped! Thanks for watching!

Moved into new construction home and it’s been very headache to figure this out. Thanks for the video
Glad it helped
Thank you so much! Your video was easy to understand and helped demystify the programming. Blessings . . . 💕
I have 6 stations but my controller only allows me to see 3 of them. How do I get the other 3to show up?
You sir are an absolute genius. Thank you so much for doing this very in-depth straightforward tutorial.
Glad it helped!
Thank you so much. I have experience with other brands in previous homes. And while this stuff is not very complicated, it was extremely helpful to watch this video. Great job at explaining all this very clearly. 👌
Happy to hear this helped! Thanks for watching!
Ok this has been super and I thank you so much! I only want “a” to run because I only want it to run once a day and not 4...is that correct? And also...set it on run and it will begin at the time (1 am) I want it to start, right???
I’m glad I found your instructions it was very helpful to program my hunter Pro-C
Awesome! Thanks for watching!
I have Hunter Pro-C Control Panel which quit working. I was told that by my landscaping guy I should buy a new one . I purchased the new Pro-C Panel and installed it according to directions and still it isn't working. It is getting electric and I can program it for all stations, but when I turn it on run no stations will work. Help , Help !!!!
Great video thank you! Just added two more lines to our house to have a total of 4 stations and this video made it so simple to figure out how the settings work. It came with our new home with the sod and drip system working but we added grass in the back yard and have to do two stations due to weak water pressure. And this devices works perfect for it!
Fantastic!
Excellent! My system’s power was accidentally turned off when someone hit a GFCI button. I thought I would need the installation company to set up everything again but they told me there was a great RUclips video if I wanted to try it. I almost said no due to the scorching heat in my Houston garage. But I decided to try it before paying for a service call and it was quick and easy. This is the best walk through and explanation of a system I’ve ever seen. Thank you so much! You saved me some money and now I know how to “manage” my controller. 🌷
Happy to hear this helped! Thanks for watching
Once you have all your areas set for time and run duration where do you put the dial at for it work correctly is it run? Or something else I'm just trying to see what you do after you set everything up
Thank you for making this video. I have saved it in my watch later. No one could figure out how to program this thing at my work...
Glad it helped!
how do you just turn on the system to see which watering head are working?
Thank you for this video!! I had start times mixed up with Stations… it took me a couple of days to figure out why it kept restarting!!
Fingers crossed I have it set correctly! 🤞

When my Mom asked me to set this up for her, I wasn’t looking forward to it. Thanks for making this an easy process while drinking a beer!
Awewome! Thanks for watching!
Outstanding video! Very informative and very easy to follow! Thank you.
Glad it was helpful and thanks for watching!
Thank you so much!
One question;
How many valve can this operate in one station?
So easy a 14 year old kid(like myself) could understand, ehh most of it.
Happy to help!
Any videos on how to troubleshoot?
What if station STOP showing up? All of a sudden, I ONLY get stations 1-4 show in in programming mode, but I can Manually run ALL 7 ZONES. GRRRRRR
A;ready removed both batteries and A/C power as well as did factory reset and reset time, day and date.

Hi Hunter Industries, I bought a new home and wondering how to I change zones they are only 6 zones in the yard..and program A it is set for 7 and program B and C only show 4 zones..
I realize (or I hope so) that I can use program ABC for different times (ex A in the morning and B in the afternoon and C in the evening) but again B and C zone only have 4 zones program and it will miss my 5 and 6 zone ..do you recommend me resetting and then when I get to zone 7-10 just turn them off or set time for 0:00? Hope to hear from you soon, I’ll try to find an email and send you this message too..thank you in advance, Kelly

I dont get it.. after playing around I know now that my new homes stations and where they are.. per the hunter C controller.. however, manually the will work individually, but under a program… they never turn on all together st the same time.. what am I doing wrong?
I have even tried programs A B & C with all having the same run times, start times, & days… any ideas?
A program holds several zones or station that irrigation one at a time, in sequence. Hunter’s larger commercial controllers can operate more that one zone at a time, assuming the hydraulics allow.
I have a Pro-C controller. I've added new zones on my system, where zones 1thru 6 are grass, 7 thru 9 are flower gardens and finally zone 10 is also grass. I would like to water the flowers every other day, and the grass areas every third day. How do I go about doing this?
@@Hunter_Industries You did not answer as to how to water every other day...which was also my question.
Great video - I'm a "computer person", went through everything here, corrected a couple of settings and yet the system is not functioning as programmed. lol no fault of the excellent video I'm sure! Will have to call a tech for the start up. For now running manually on the station that needs water the most!
Same problem here. I've tried for several days to get my controller to come on at the designated time...1am two days a week. It never starts watering the yard. I have to operated it in "Manual" to get it to water. I "reset" the unit as shown in another video. That did not help. It was working fine last year when I had it watering everyday for new sod to get established.
Great video. But need help. What if I want it to water everyday. What setting do I set the intervals to? Also, I’m the run position, how do I know why programs are active and live.
Intervals set to 1 will water daily or select all days of the week to water daily. It may be easier to select Mon, Wed, Fri to water but you can't get a true "every other day" watering cycle with a 7 day calendar. For "every other day" watering or "every third day watering", use the interval function.
Very helpful. Just had mine installed today. Of course, as soon as we finished it started pouring.
Glad it helped
Question. In this example I understood that a station is comprised of group of sprinklers wired into one valve? In your tutorial you showed 4 stations or zone, so I assume there are 4 valves wired to the controller? Am I correct?
Thanks for this video. I searched and searched for an on-line user manual, never found it, but so glad I found this video. It explains in great detail how to program the controller. Well done.
Glad it was helpful!
Does ODD/EVEN only apply when INTERVAL is 1? What if you have ODD/EVEN set for EVEN and INTERVAL set for 3, or is that possible
Hi, somehow my sprinkler will not turn off from #1 position and it will just stay on until I go outside and turn off the water
This sounds like a good reason to contact our customer support department here: www.hunterindustries.com/hunter-technical-support-email-request
Great video, but I'm having an issue where once is finished watering it goes back and water the same zones again, not sure why I guess I'm not doing it right.

I have my garden bed as prg a, 5 days a week. Then the rest of the house prg b twice per week. On run, do BOTH of those programs run?
Yes, each program that has a run days and a run time will operate.
Dumb question here: After you are done setting the days, run times, etc.
Do we switch it back to off, or something else to ensure that it turns on?
Very helpful. Thanks
This video helped a ton. Any ideas why our rain sensor/solar sync sensor has not worked as desired since day one? We have had no rain for the past three days, following a night with a ton of rain, and it still won’t run automatically unless I bypass the sensor using the toggle.
If I don’t want one of my stations to run can I just put it on zero minutes. That wont hurt or mess up my system will it?
A station run time of zero will prevent that individual station or zone from running without impacting the other stations.
You set the days of the week, then set odd, even. I assume the odd-even negates the days of the week you set just before?
Right, you can start a program based on days of the week, interval days, or odd/even days if that make sense for you.
I just moved into a house with this setup in my front yard drip system. I am in Phoenix so how long should I run it for?
Hunter Irrigation you rock!
Thank you so much. I have 10 stations, each with different "needs," and this was a huge help.
Glad it helped!
@@Hunter_Industries Is there a way to program start times to anytime rather than every 15 minutes blocks? I had a different brand before and you could choose, for example 6:28 am if you wanted rather than 6:30.
What does it mean if you have a date that shows "E320" instead of "2022". I tried to reset using your instructions, but would not reset any of the settings....I tried to hold 15 seconds on the reset button, but did not reset to factory settings
Hi Todd, this vido can assit with resetting your controller. If you need additional assistance pleae email support@hunterindustries.com www.hunterindustries.com/videos/how-reset-hunter-controller
If I run manually, can I set the run time of 1 or 2 minutes, but stop after 30 sec? It seems even though I turn to System Off, the sprinklers continue to run.
Why do 10 min intervals. Sprinkler are for overnight and supposed to go 1-2 hours? I’m so confused on this system.
Thank you for contacting Hunter Technical Support.
Interval Watering is a feature that allows you to select the number of days to pass before the next watering day. For example, an interval of 3 will cycle the program once every three days and water on the third day. An interval of 1 is every day and an interval of 2 will water every other day. An interval can be set for any time period up to 31 days.
The odd or even option. How do you set it for every day , all odd AND even days ?
If stations 1 & 2 are assigned to a Program with a start time of 6am and a run time of 30 minutes, will Stations 1 & 2 come on sequentially, e.g. Station 1 at 6am and then Station 2 at 6:30am?
yes
Thank you for this video
You bet! thanks for watching!
Very helpful. Thanks.
Hello, pls help me with these 2 questions:
1. I want it to run once in 4 days. I have set the interval to 4. Do I also have to set the days to turn on, or is that an alternate option? Meaning, If I set the days on as Tues & Thurs, is it going to run by default on those days as well as per the once in 4 days calc?
2. How do I know which sprinklers are associated with prgm A,B,C?
Thank you for contacting Hunter Technical Support.
When watering in the Interval mode you do not have to set the days to turn on. When using the interval it is best to have all days set to water. On the bottom of the display, if you see icon above any day, press the right arrow button until the day is flashing and then press the plus button to remove icon from day. For more information about interval watering please see the link below.

My newly installed irrigation system not working when a program runs the sprinkler icon is flassing but the display says OFF. Can you tell me what is the problem? I was able to run individual stations manually.
Sorry to read about the automatic irrigating issue. This sounds like a glitch. Perform a factory reset, and reprogram. That should fix the issue. Here is the link to learn how to do the factory reset.

Excellent video. Very helpful.
This video starts off with advanced watering time settings, rather than with the most simple settings...sensory overload.
Thank you for the feedback. The actual basic programming of the unit starts at the 1:40 mark of the video.
Can the Pro C have something added to make it WiFi controlled?
Adding the PC-WIFI communications module allows the Pro-C controller to connect with our Centralus platform.
How do I set the controller to water program A every other day? I see the option for odd & even but not every other day. The idea is not to have to water two days in a row and water more than 3-times-a-week.
After setting my programs, and setting it RUN and then choosing program A, the sprinklers turn on immediately instead of waiting until the programmed time. Why is it doing this?
Sorry to read about the programming conflict. Please verify that the current date and time are accurate. If you have a program created and it comes on at the wrong time it's possible that the current date and time are wrong.
On the date time function how does one stop the flashing of the year after changing the date and time? Is it necessary to stop the flashing by pressing another button? I don’t see you doing anything to stop the year flashing after you made the changes.
Thank you for contacting Hunter Technical Support.
You will always see the year flashing when dial is set to edit mode with dial in the Set Current Date and Time position. This is normal like a cursor on a computer.
Thank you again for contacting Hunter Technical Support. Please let us know if we can offer any other assistance.

My seasonal adjustment fluctuates on a daily basis. How do I keep it from changing?
A controller Seasonal Adjustment that is automatically changing is an indication of having the Solar Sync Sensor installed on the controller. The Solar Sync Sensor will adjust the Seasonal Adjustment each day based upon measured weather data at your site.
If your controller has a Solar Sync dial position, look for black and green wires attached to the SEN terminals on the controller. If your controller does not have the Solar Sync position on the dial, look for the Solar Sync module near the controller.
The Solar Sync Module, Wireless Solar Sync Receiver, and the outdoor cover for the Solar Sync will have the name Solar Sync on them indicating you do have one.
Changing the Water Adjustment option on the Solar Sync module will allow you to fine-tune your station Run Times to either allow for more watering or less watering.
This is great! Do you have something that explains why it will run 1 and 2 in one day but won’t continue to the next day even though it’s set to run every day?
Please contact our customer support department here: www.hunterindustries.com/hunter-technical-support-email-request
Great instructions!!!!!
I have this unit, and it has worked well for three years operating just on program A. I now want to put a program into channel B for the first time. When I turn the dial to "start time" and then hit the "prg" button, it doesn't change to program B.
Problem solved. It turns out my controller was in "limited" mode. I went to the program customization instructions at this website (www.hunterindustries.com/support/pro-c-program-customization) and changed it to "normal" mode which enabled program B to be set as described in the rest of the instructions. Changing to "normal" mode also changed the max number of start times available from 1 to 4. The builder must have left this controller in "limited" mode.
when i set it to run, only one section goes off? i can’t figure out how to make it so all sections go off at my set start and run times.
Thank you for contacting Hunter Technical Support.
Hunter controllers are programmed using Start Times and Run Times. There is a distinct difference between the two.
With the dial of the controller in the Start Times dial position, you will notice the numbers 1-4. These numbers do not represent stations. The numbers represent the program start times.
One start time will activate all stations sequentially in that program. If you want the stations to operate one time in sequential order and then not repeat, set start times 2, 3, and 4 to OFF. Multiple start times in a program can be used for the separate morning, afternoon, or evening watering cycles. Start times may be entered in any order. A common reason for a controller to repeat a cycle is too many programmed start times within a particular program.
Thank you again for contacting Hunter Technical Support. Please let us know if we can offer any other assistance.
This was so helpful! We moved into a new house and this is all new to us. However I am curious to what the row of lines on the left side of the screen are or indicate?
The short horizontal line on the left side of the screen indicate the seasonal adjust. It's an easy way of adjust your irrigation run times based on your current needs. Check pg 21 here: www.hunterindustries.com/sites/default/files/2023-07/om-p2c-en.pdf
This video was what I needed. Thanks so much
The timestamps are very helpful. Thank you.

This is a great video!!! Many thanks!!
Glad you liked it!
Excellent video. So clearly explained. You helped me help my elderly mother. Thank you so much!
You're welcome
How do I stop the system from going all night, when I only need for one night only ?
Thank you for contacting Hunter Technical Support.
A common reason for a controller to repeat a cycle is too many programmed start times. Only one start time per active program is required, but a second start time will cycle the program for an additional time.
NOTE: In the Start Times dial position, the numbers 1-4 do not represent stations.
The numbers represent the program start times. Each program can start up to 4 times per day to water. One start time will activate all stations sequentially in that program. If you want the stations to operate one time in sequential order and then not repeat, set start times 2, 3, and 4 to OFF. Multiple start times in a program can be used for the separate morning, afternoon, or evening watering cycles.
Individual stations are assigned to a program (A, B, C). Each program requires only one start time to initiate a watering sequence of all the stations assigned to that program. Start times are assigned to programs, not stations. The controller will operate the stations in numerical order. When a station has completed its watering time, the controller will switch to the next station in that program automatically.
Awesome! Thank you! 🤗
Glad it helped! Thanks for watching!
I have four station but only three stations are available to program. How do I add the fourth station?
Hunter Irrigation Hello, in the 4 áreas that come from factory I connect all the zones and when I manually execute zone 3 also begins to operate zone4 and when I manually execute zone4, also start zone 3 , at the same time. the only way this does not happen is disconnecting zone3 or 4 to operate only one, what happend? please!
What is you just want to turn on all the zones manually? How do you do that?
Thank you for contacting Hunter Technical Support.
If your Pro-C controller shows irrigation running (Flashing Sprinkler Icon), and your sprinklers are not working, you may have a wiring problem at the valves or the irrigation water supply has been shut down.
www.hunterindustries.com/support/pro-c-manually-run-single-station
how can I run all zones at the same time from the manual operation?
Most smaller irrigation system don't have a water supply that allows multiple zones to run at the same time. The ProC controller can run all the zones in a program but following the instructions on page 22 here: www.hunterindustries.com/sites/default/files/2023-07/om-p2c-en.pdf

I need to reprogram everything…how do I clear the memory to reset it?
Here's a video that will help: ruclips.net/video/hJ2TKcMFHfk/видео.htmlsi=cQsO4wQbsJm4RThS
How to skip program B and C
To avoid a program from operating confirm that all four start times for each program are set to OFF. This will eliminate the automatic program from initiating.
Great video! As soon as we set the system, it sounded like the water was turned on and stayed that way for an hour. Is it supposed to do that?
Hunter Irrigation thank you for your reply. It turned out that the pipe was left on. The main pipe where the Technician blew out the pipe. We turned off the system and turned it back on in the morning and water was shooting out lol
The best explain. Everything is clear now.

Great tutorial. Only issue I have is that the manual setting on mine doesn't automatically cycle through the zones. Wondering if I missed a step or if this is just the way the system works.
Should be the only zone you select.

I noticed there is a switch on the left middle section of the panel that you didn't discuss in the video. It says "bypass," "rain sensor," and "active." It looks as though yours is on bypass or maybe rain sensor but mine is on "active." Which do I leave it at permanently?
@@Hunter_Industries Since the previous owners of the home were the ones who installed the irrigation system, I do not know if I have a rain sensor or not, but regardless your reply is very helpful. Thank you
..... I'll check the screen after a rain to see if there is an on/off message.
