Naturally I love a tank list! The Cyclopes may be a bit difficult for a new player to get ahold of, 3d printing seems the best option to me. It definitely will put some holes in the enemy even if it doesn't win games though!
Yup if people are in Canada I've been printing good proxies for $20, I live taking them in my lists for secondaries and random mortal woulds on characters
I was lucky enough to get my hands on 2 real ones. It was a long quest. I had to my Centaurs from a Chinese recaster though. It really was the only option.
Never played a tank list… still fairly new and don’t own a single tank. I have ran both sentinel spam and horse spam but your tanks are making me think. I love the shadow sword
Thats a cool list if you have that big boy Super Tank :) be fun to run in casual games for sure .. My 1000 point armour (mostly list). a variant list of this HQ - Tank Commander (with grand Strategist) HQ - Enginseer Troops - 5 Man Scion Unit (Fist/Plasma Pistol / Hot Shot Volley/Plasma Gun) just to drop in backfield or something 1 x Vanquisher Tank with Heavy Bolters/Las / Stubber (baby sit with the Enginseer ) 2 x Rogal Dorns - to push up with Tank Commander 1 x Scout Sentinel ( Las/Missles/Chain) still good at granting the reroll 1 hit rolls on a target for army can also run around the board somewhat If I had a Baneblade Chasis Tank would totally try one out though .
Very cool list. I wonder how effective it would be with a bit of a lack of orders and other buffs on those main units. Feels like a couple of LRBTs with their in-built re-rolls would be more effective than the RD and TC. You’d have 125 pts spare for a couple of scout sentinels to help buff the Shadowsword too
Hopefully not against Blood Angels. Surely not against Gene Stealer Cult or Tyranids. But its good to see a tough armor list presented on this channel! Would like to see this against the Tau!
I think a large chunk of thr current FW range is at risk of going to Legends. It'll be an absolute shame... but it seems to be the direction GW is taking things.

I’ve been thinking about doing a Scion list, would that be viable? No Lord Solar because you need the Scion commander as your leader.

Agreed. It's hard to hold anything really. Although I have found that the Macharius variants at OC 8 don't do too bad when grabbing objectives.
As a new Guardsman, any recommendations to bring besides the Cyclops (can be any unit type doesn’t have to just be tanks)
Tempestus scions are great for oc control
I would agree that Scions would be a great alternative.
