Hi guy, the algorithm brought me here. You're not actually supposed to slurp the noodles as per Korean dining etiquette. Slurping is a Japanese way of showing the cook you love their food. Glad to see you didn't actually slurp though - doing so with a saucy and sticky noodle like jjajangmyeon can be awfully messy.
Hello! I live in Korea. This jajangmyeon is actually eaten by many people. There's even Jjapaghetti, black bean noodles. Of course, Jjapaghetti is less than half the taste of jajangmyeon. We Koreans have sweet and sour radish and pickled radish. It's on the side. In the old days, when I went to a Chinese restaurant in Korea and asked for 1,000 won worth of black bean sauce, He only took black bean sauce and cooked black bean sauce rice. (Laughing) And I hope you mix it well. We, Koreans, I felt uncomfortable seeing that it wasn't all mixed up. I don't know why I felt uncomfortable.I don't know. -2021.04.19-
i used to learn as a kid, not to slerp in the 90s ( yes in Korea! ) so i remember when watching the movie "mr baseball" i was so shocked at slerping noodles! Now its a whole new cultural thing!! i still can't slerp my food but its a fun experience to actually watch cultures change!
Looks great! I never like the pork in this dish to be honest, so it's perfect for me☺ Btw, I really like your accent! Where in the US do people speak like that?🤔 Sorry, I'm from Europe, so I can't tell...
Good to see you back James, your looking well man! Have you seen the Korean movie 'Castaway On The Moon'? You should watch it! I remember it right now because of the 'noodles and black bean sauce' :D
Well, the high class Koreans taught their children to not make noise (slurping sound) when they eat. but Jajangmyeon is not really food of the high society.
Welcome back! This is one of my girlfriends favorite foods, I’m gonna try this one for her. Thanks!
Looking good James, I can almost smell it. Love them shrooms!
Omg I’m salivating and getting hungry at midnight right now.
I hungry when I see this movie in the middle of the night (^ ^)
Ooh that looks wonderful James, I think that would taste fabulous. Great to see you back and look forward to more videos.
