I am literally crying about how soft and sweet they are with each other. This movie was the first time I had seen a black princess and an asian prince and it was very believable! Can't wait to see them in the new descendants and hopefully they get more than 5 minutes of run time

I remember watching their Cinderella movie. I was/am a big fan of them. Brandy’s music and show, and Paolo was in Mortal Kombat. I do hope they get a fair amount of screen time even though this is a Descendants movie first, before a Cinderella sequel. I’m a fan of the Descendent movies too.
While we are at it with Paolo, with Paramount trying to get that King & I remake off the ground, be great if he was cast as the King. He has King & I experience and did the 1996 Bway revival

This movie was everything in my childhood. At the time, we just really never had a princess that looked like us, had braids, let alone a fairy Godmother. There was so much said back then about this film and the characters being of different races, but people don't realize with fictional stories, they get interpreted over and over through various people with each new generation to appeal to the times and the people in them. This was definitely a hit and what a lot of my friends in my generation consider, "our" Cinderella movie. I am so glad to see these two reprising their roles. Brandy rocked the look in a Todrick Hall video and I was already so happy she did that, and now this, awesome!

When the movie was first released on Disney+ I watched for a full week and I would say the only thing that aged about it was the fashion and how vivid the colors were but honestly the movie is perfection! And brandy and paolo still make a beautiful onscreen couple
