The first sentence using the verb dar is confusing because you say “regala” (specifically to give a gift). A better example could be María le da un libro a Pedro. (María gives a book to Pedro.)
She fuckin lost me that , damn glad we on the same page
@@guzzy450yeah,i was like where's dar? 😂😂
@Ryouki1206 The Spanish verb dar means "to give" in English. It's one of the most common verbs in Spanish and can be used in many different contexts. For example, you can use dar to say "I give you an apple" (Te doy una manzana), or to express fear ("It scares me" (Me da miedo). You can also use dar to describe situations like giving thanks (dar las gracias) or giving lessons.
She's obviously not a native--her accent is heavy and non-fluid. I realised, that she is not open to criticism, for she ignored your spot-on comment in lieu of thanking you for your suggestion as others. Have a good day. :)
You are a rude person. Go make your own video. I learned a lot from this.@@nicobsm111saintmichel7

Great video, thanks!
Wonderful and useful. I wish I had seen this when I started years ago on Duo, which was negligent with certain common verbs,
Glad you liked this video
The first sentence doesn't use 'dar'?
Ana le da flores a Josefina
Ana le regala flores a Josefina
The same.
Dar y regalar son sinónimos!
Thanks
It’s gotta be estar
how come da turns into le?
It doesn’t.
@@vt8811 where is the Da in the sentence at 3:20 ?
@@MusicOverseer She uses da in the sentence when she speaks. The sentence on the screen uses the verb “regalar,” meaning “to gift.”
Amazing ❤
