Jo Koy , I salute you man! You had balls to stand up and take the challenge within 10days!...Those other hosts who critizes you like the VIEW and the GBNews and the rest of TV shows, why they cant try to hosts Golden Globes...lets see what they can do. For those anchors they cant handdle the pressure within 10days timeframe. Your jokes are real and mild , compare with other previous hosts , to think they have ample of time - 6months frame in preparation with re-writing scripts with writers. Jo Koy is so humble. God bless you, man. I never watched you until the Golden Globes exploded. Then I started watching him and I have never laughed at stand ups like I did with Jo Koy's.
Because of the strike, producers were worried that the viewership would go down so they hired a Filipino to host. They were right. Viewership went up to 56% because they found the magic formula/ audience/ highest number of users of social media: FILIPINOS.
Notice most white American vloggers and influencers aren't interested in the Golden Globes. As a matter of fact... they're dissing it ... including Jo Koy's mediocre performance.

Actually most of the people there are pretty decent, I hear laughs here and there. The two most akward are the Ryan Gosling part and the Taylor Swift part. Meryl Streep and Robert De Niro played along really well.

If there's one thing that I really admired about this man, it's his being a proud filipino and how he loved his mom. Even with his comedic issues with TS, I'm still proud that someone like him was able to kill it! ❤
He did a fantastic job. Half the room was quiet. If it was Ricky Gervais or Chris Rick saying the exact same thing there would have been more laughter. Hope that other half are not anti-Asian/Pacific Islander. They are supposedly actors -- laugh. For sure, one person there I am no longer a fan of.
