Hey Daniel, thanks for that. There's a couple of things I'd do differently next time, namely changing the border cuts to start at 90degrees to give it a slight lead in and eliminate the 'circular' pierce point on the open lines.
Hey Lionel, is there something you do differently to me, that makes yours easier/better than the way I do it....if so, I'm happy to hear about it, thanks.
Hey Rusty another good video. All your videos have awesome tips. Also where did you get the clamps from that clamp your plasma torch to the Z axis. Thanks
Hey Jake, thankyou for your kind words. The clamps I used to mount the machine torch to the Z axis are called Stauff clamps....you can find them at hydraulic hose suppliers or search for them online. I bought 32mm diameter clamps and they fitted the machine torch perfectly.
Hey rusty. I use myplasm too. I also do this often, with my larger pieces. Have you tried to right click the coordinates to change the numbers instead of using the arrow keys? Also, you can move the design around on your table in myplasm by right clicking and holding while you drag your image around. I do this to realign my images / torch when cutting in this fashion. Good video mate. It's coming into "anzac season" and it's fabulous to get as many of these designs into Aussie homes as possible.
Hey Jeff, I've tried changing the coordinates by entering different values in the 'torch position' Y value but nothing happens...I guess I'm doing something wrong.
That looks great!!
Thanks for the shout out, really appreciate it!
Happy to help anytime, mate
