I swear everything you touch turns into Shabby gorgeousness! New here (3rd video I've watched) and am loving literally everything you make! I went to the thrift store yesterday and kept thinking about what would the lady from "Kinda Shabby" choose? lol Thanks so much for showing us all how we too can create really precious and shabby things!
Thank you Michelle! That was my intention from the beginning, to show people how to recreate items that were easy, beautiful, and budget friendly. It makes me happy that my channel makes you happy!
I always slept in the “blue room” at my grandmother’s house and it had a white iron bed with blue gingham bedspread, shams and curtains with lots of white ruffles. This video reminded me of breakfast in bed at grandmas 💙🤍💙🤍💙🤍
I am so happy that I discovered your channel. I really in joy how you put your spent on your DIY’s. I am so in love with the Shabby Chic method of crafting and decor. I am so intrigued by your creativity and talent, and the beauty of your crafts. I am trying to locate and view all your post.

Loved all the projects! I really like how you explain everything you are doing and also give helpful hints! You are an excellent teacher! I'm so glad I found you on u tube! Thanks for sharing!
First off I adore your craft room secondly I love everything you made love the lampshade and I love what you did with that shutter it's just so shabby chic cute definitely have to collaborate together love your aesthetic
Thank you! I love your channel and a collaboration is exciting. I truly appreciate you. You’ll have to walk me through how to do it, as I’m still a newbie😃!
Thank you Debra! I price using different techniques. Some are priced higher due to the amount of time required for the project, such as an item painted with 3 coats of white paint and sealed with wax or poly. Some items only need to be cleaned and sealed. I usually check Etsy and handmade vendor markets to see what a good average price is too. I don’t mind pricing a bit higher, because I can always reduce the price later if necessary. Jami Ray Vintage has a great RUclips channel where she upcycles thrifted items, telling what she paid and how much she’s selling it for.
I am sooo doing the lampshade on this ugly old lamp I have! I think some lace strips on on the lampshade between the muslin would look really cute and hide the light bulb and Hardware. Also, I like that little blue bird stick at the end of your video...did you make that?
I agree Victoria, lace between the muslin would be so perfect. I actually purchased my bird from Hobby Lobby several years ago. I’m glad you’re going to try this lampshade project for yourself. Happy Crafting!

I just love the blue gingham fabric on the lampshade. It reminds me of Dorothy’s dress from “The Wizard of Oz”!
Ooh that lamp is so cute! Love it all but the lamp is my fav.
I’m trying to catch up on all of your videos and loving everything you do!
Thank you Lindsey! I just think gingham is such a sweet fabric, and thought it looked cute on the lamp too!

I love your videos! Everything is always so beautiful. Wouldn't it be nice if we could buy battery operated candles that size? 😃
Thank you so much! And I would love to find long battery operated taper candles. They are never the size I seem to need.

Becky all is adorable! Would it be proper to ask what should be a suggested retail price for these things that we duplicate?

I love all your projects! I have one question though, how likely is the lamp strips to catch fire from the bulb heat?
Thank you! I would suggest an LED bulb rather than an incandescent bulb to avoid any overheating. Good question!
First!!
Hahaha! You’re always my first!
Becky, how do you attach the top of lampshade?! What did you use
Hi Cyn! The lamp had a small finial at the top that screwed on to hold the lampshade in place.
Is the Behr chalk paint stinky like horrible fumes???
Not smelly at all, that’s why I like to use their chalk paint. Thank you for watching!
