To be honest, the first 20 seconds the tempo really got me. I was like "that doesn't sound right". Although, after that my ear got used to the tempo and your interpretation is flawless!
    Congratulations for the good work!

The faster tempo brings out a more melancholic quality to it... in some parts it's almost like a melancholic rage? It's hard to explain. I love seeing different interpretations of the same piece, music should be fun and not just a mere set of rules. Bravo!

I agree! I think 'melancholic rage' describes it beautifully.

Perfect, who more think that beethoven bach or mozart are the best but when listen to Tchaiko, think that is him?? This is so stressing

I like the quicker tempo. I play this too and was frankly surprised to see a version a whole minute and a half slower than this version. Very nicely played.

This is a really interesting interpretation of the piece. I always loved the song for its melancholy and reflection, but you infused it with a sense of drive that feels like another side to that same coin.

Even though I understand your interpretation is more correct, But I’d put more pedal at the first section. But still excellent performance!
