What can I say? You caress the music so sensitively that I CAN hear words right through the 'song' like beautiful, gorgeous, excellent and most importantly this is the best soothing ear balm there can be for tired ears. Bravo!
I just started level nine and you make it seem so easy. Thank you alot for the help. I hope I can play jist as good as you, even though the goal is far fetched because you play so perfectly. Once again, thank you!
Beautiful! I love the sound of your piano. I guess I had overlooked this piece before when playing some of the songs and and am happy to have (re) discovered it!
Sherlock Holmes played it at Watson's request ! "I see that I have alluded above to his powers upon the violin. These were very remarkable, but as eccentric as all his other accomplishments. That he could play pieces, and difficult pieces, I knew well, because at my request he has played me some of _Mendelssohn’s Lieder,_ and other favourites. When left to himself, however, he would seldom produce any music or attempt any recognized air." (A Study in Scarlet)
I wrote a comment in Japanese. Because I thought you are Japanese. Are you? My Spring piano recital is two weeks away, and I will play this piece, finally. My professor made me play this!! She changed some fingering, so I became to able to play this !! I hope I won't make so many mistakes :(
@@yuming8380 Sorry for a late reply. I just found your comment. I hope that your Spring Piano recital went well! I'm Taiwanese, living in Australia. :)
@@MXChan , Thank you for your reply. Yes, I performed Op.30 No.1 for Spring recital. I did good job. Currently, I'm practicing Tchaikovsky and Mozart piano Sonata( always). First, I thought you are Japanese, because you put "Pikachu" on your piano. 謝 謝 for posting beautiful pieces.
Thank you! It's hard to give advice through just writing though. I would normally just do slow practice emphasising the melody and do staccato on the accompanying triplets (to tell your fingers that they are supposed to be soft). After a few repetitions switch back to legato again and they should come out super soft underneath the melody. :)
I like your performance very much, but why does the piano sounds out of tune ? Is it a microphone recording or a VST plugin with a special preset ? please!
This is the built in sound of the Kawai CS6, with reverb added, and recorded directly onto USB. Probably sounds a little off because this is a blend of two built in sounds of the Kawai digital
I love the songs you play on your Kawai, however sometimes the sound of your piano, due to the exaggerated amount of reverb you added is a bit disturbing. Can you find yourself in this?
let’s applaud the creator for still hearting comments 10 years later
My current favorite piece, and honestly this is the best interpretation I’ve heard like, ever
this is one of my favorite pieces and I just have to say that it was beautifully executed, love the expressiveness in this rendition
First long piece I've learnt. Your rendition was very good.
You played this piece so beautifully, thank you for sharing it 💜

Beautiful! I believe that this song is underplayed despite being so beautiful!
I've just finished learning this marvelous piece! I am amazed by the genius of Mendelsson!
Je crois la redécouvrir à nouveau ! J'adore, et je vais l'apprendre !
Beautiful singing line!! Truly a song without words.
This is one of the most beautiful performances I’ve ever seen. The sound of that piano is so rich and full I wish my keyboard could sound like that.
For a split second there I thought it was a real piano; Kawaii sampling is amazing. Great playing, MX Chan!
Beautiful piano voice!, and wonderful playing!
Also my favorite from all "Songs without words". Beautiful intricate melodies.
It is my favourite song on the piano as well. Nicely played. Mendelsshon would be proud!
Really loved your rendition of this song. So beautiful with such emotion.
This is amazing, starting to play this song... the stressing of the soprano voice is lovely!
Thank you!
Beautiful
Beautifully done, and I really appreciate how the repeats are played differently. Now if only it didn't sound like mush when I play it!
Heartfelt emotion comes through beautifully without sentimentality; Love your rendition!
THankyou
Wonderful and inspiring. Thank you so much!
I have never seen any other performance with as much color as the one you give at 3:50. Great performance :)
PERFECT you are brilliant :)
Would love for you to upload more Mendelssohn Songs Without Words. This is sublime!
Just can say, BRAVO
I love it! Very emotional piano interpretation. I wish I was able to play it... Very nice indeed!
Very colourful playing. Beautiful :)
Magnifique tout simplement...
Merci beaucoup!

Level 9????????
@@skstruct it's level nine for me. I do RCM
Totally gorgeous.
Finally, I am learning this beautiful piece. It is quite difficult in terms of 2/3 tempo and voicing, nonetheless worth working on it.
You make it seems so easy
Wow😭❤️.......what a beautiful rendition!🙏 Respect!
This is so beautiful! Thank you for sharing your wonderful playing of this lovely piece.
Loved it.
Played verry beautiful!
Beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
You play really well. It sounds like some of my faves. Well, this is one, so...

Excellent voicing, especially in measures 32 - 35. Those measures have been a stumbling block for me in learning this piece. Any advice?

Dhamma Pada either needs to refine his hearing or he talks without Knowing too much about freedom of interpretation in the pianist part!
Can be better . More tension . Some notes should play as upbeat , but u drop it . Peace.
