I miss Mists of Pandaria :(
I never expected ppl to miss MoP after such a hate during actual expansion. Well and there WoD happened
In my opinion MoP was the best xpac after wrath and then we transitioned into WoD which was utter dogshit. Kinda killed it for me.
It really added a new flavor to the world along with great background music
Mists of Pandaria was the last time I enjoyed WoW. Pandaria was a joy to explore, and I loved seeing a truly beautiful place. It brought back so much of the soul that was missing from the game since Cataclysm.
I agree. It was the last time you felt unspecial. Like IRL.
Say what you want about MoP's story and/or gameplay but the soundtrack is phenomenal.
The storytelling and lore in MoP is fantastic imo. I'm not sure what anyone would have against it.
Of course it's phenomenal, Jeremy Soule made it!
Nebojsa Zdravkovic Did he?? He's my favorite video game music composer!
Sitting in that little marshy area up on a plateau overlooking the Valley of the Four Winds, and the soundtrack that plays just in that area.... ugh...
ikr Jeremy Soule is the boss of gaming music
Damm good memories......i spent HOURS AND HOURS in halfhill cooking lol, good times. People said MoP was terrible but it was better than Cata and WoD combined!
+Markyboy28 Mists of Pandaria was terrible though. Just significantly less so than Warlords and Cata. Music wise though, I liked Mists.
But you can tell the writing for the game's gone downhill since Wrath, and they're having a hard time making it any decent.
+Medinaxz Ehhhh no. Mists had some of the best lore since Wrath. Very unique and lots of new stuff that was added in with next to no retconning. And no, it really wasn't terrible. I actually had fun in MoP, and its retention rate (Which stabilized and even rose during Throne of Thunder and pre-SoO) shows that people liked it.
+Markyboy28 For me, the Pandaria levels were far more enjoyable to play through than Cata. I hated the cata zones, especially Vashj'ir. I'm talking about zone aesthetics, not mechanics or quest chains. Pandaria just had beautiful zones and beautiful mobs and beautiful music.
Lol, MoP content is like 3x times WoD's
it was pretty good, considering things got worse and worse
7:00 Most beautiful part of the song. I remember first time I heard this, I literally had to stop. I was just like "damn, this is some GORGEOUS music"
It reminds me to the PS game Journey
Shout out to all my Tillers, Chefs and Brewers - love you guys!
Master of the Ways ftw!
Never shall i regret the restless rep grind for that sweet ass kite mount, but i still ended up using the cloud mount cause its sweeeet.
Recently done that (Never played MoP back then)
I wanted the flippable table toy. lol
i do really enjoy questing on pandaland
Pandaria had wonderful. calming music..
+MewandMewtwoPlayz it made questing enjoyable
Pandaria was probably the most wonderful place for me. Still today, I visit the Jade Forest or the Valley, just to relax. I never thought I could enjoy a virtual place that much.
I've returned wow, just to go halfhill, i mean, i can't explain this emotion in words. But I'm sure you will understand my feelings
I do the same with the barrens and durotar..
i remember sneaking up late at night and leveling my goblin warrior for hours in this zone and hearing this music, those were good times
I always felt so home in pandaria
01:49 am, im in halfill buying toys i forgot back in the day. Forgot how beautiful the music is there. Thanks for the upload!
Enjoying this beautiful music again in the current Remix. Ten years after first discovering this beautiful extension, the intense pleasure of venturing through Pandaria is still intact
The first song is just beautiful. Pandaria was my favorite expansion, such beautiful zones. :)
I love 2:42. It has the feel of the pandaren lifestyle
1. General: Did Gal spawn yet?
plutarch78 I miss that so much forming a group with the whole sever at 3 am to kill him
LOOT AND PILLAGE, YEEAAHAHAHAHA!
Never ceases to be nostalgic!
I love those voices
I love the Guzheng and Erhu melodies.. :)
Serious goosebumps @7:01
Definitely one of my favorite zones in the game! If the time comes for my character to retire, he's going to be relaxing on his farm listing to this beautiful music and admiring the scenery.
7:00 was the reason I would farm herbs and ore for a long time. It also reminds me Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon
Tillers Rep nostalgia
YASSSSS THAT TOOK ME SO LONG IT BECAME A PART OF MY ROUTINE
Madelyn Smith Same here, first it was Order of the Cloud Serpents, then Tillers, and then Shado Pan.
I got sad when i completed the pandarian ambassador achievement, sure it rewarded me a badass mount, but after that i became less active, since it was so much fun having a chore to do on wow, sometimes u just need to relax after all the hard wars we've won.
EliteSalmon Dad?
Akira Josiah No
I miss my farm.
That's a lovely lovely song. PS: Read this with Baine's voice in mind.
Chill soundtrack. If this won't put you in your happy place while you grind away at those levels then I don't know what will.
One of the most enjoyable zones in the game. The music is addictive, I guess what you would call an ear worm. I hum it to my cats all the time, not sure if they appreciate it or not considering I miss some of the high notes, and I'm off key through most of it. :D
After all this years thanks to mop i found my absolute favorite race pandaren
it's just fantastic...
I adore the solemn vocals at the beginning.
Cant wait to MoP Classic :)
The first theme and its variation, for some reason, makes me think of farmer yoon.
This is my fav zone in game never got all the MoP hate
Damn i like Blizzards only for this godlike music!
I remember hearing 2:44 when I first entered the Valley of Four Winds in the Beta, also everyone were like seagulls from finding nemo in that zone if you were flagged for pvp lol
The opening instrument is a harp (with some chimes in the background). The main melody then begins on an oboe (with a string orchestra in the background). Then, the vocal part is accompanied by a flute playing counterpoint. After that, the main melody picks up again, but this time on a cello.
The scenery of Four Winds reminds me of Guilin.
Hope my farm is still doing well
I wish i could just get the windmills and the drone ambiance alone.
that first track... just amazing!! I can see my comment on this video from 7 years ago :) I miss MoP, but Shadowlands is pretty great so far too!
I never played WoW but I'm in love with this music ...
1:53 - 2:15 my favourite bit :)
Ah, thanks... I'll have to go see if I can catch it sometime.
Jeremy Soule is a musical god.
+PAT THEINVISIBLESSED This is not Jeremy Soile
+Dillon Goldfarb He is part of the team that composed the music for MoP, is he not?
+littlejune131 He did a few tracks. Jeremy Soule is overrated, anyway (though his work on Mists is stellar).
I haven't heard the first part in game before, but it is so beautiful!
gorgeous.
6...years!? 😢😢😢
Time flies...
11 now. yay
just sublime..:)
This is great music.. bit got to be hard around 10:56 onward , brings back to a sad memory of the inevitable losing of a loved one who past during this expansion.
Same thing here. Listening this always gives me sad memories by the same way, but also good ones...
omg so wonderful! fav with the jinyu theme as well! 2 most wonderful ost and both was missed from mop ost album...maybe blizz are crazy or i dont know :D
mop was best expansion
I wonder how my vegetables are doing...
Yeah, last time I saw those vegetables on my main was sometime around 2013....
Yep! They just should not have missed it from the ost :D
WoW's music used to be computer generated, but is now fully orchestral. It's an oboe, like the other commenter mentioned.
the music in the very beginning reminds me of watership doown for some reason
2:44 And onward = Best part
ohh 15:00 ... marvelus.
Amazing! Although all Mists of Pandaria music is outstanding, it seems that I've grown overly fond of this zone's music - I listen to this almost every day! The composers are notoriously talented people, but frankly they have outdone themselves. Being a WoW veteran, you can imagine how attached I am to the original soundtrack; well, this expansion's soundtrack completely beats everything that has been done so far in my opinion!
There are 2 or 3 Themes in the Valley of the four winds #Paoqansenke (in German) - i didnt find theme till now. Would be nice to hear them here in Y!Tube
what's the first song? I love it.
I'm looking for it as well!
Do you find it¿ :( i need it! haha@@Immensepieguy
How can you get the beginning part! I have tried to looks everywhere for it! I love the Violin/Viola :)
Anyone know what is the name of the the first soundtrack ? , soooo beautiful >.
Anyone else hearing The Last Emperor soundtrack in here? For example, compare the melody starting at 12:39 from this video to this: /watch?v=soYYnkw1uUU.
Why does this make me sad? Heeee Hawwwww!!!!!
Whats the name of the song?
what instrument is that at the beginning, sounds like 3different ones so I cant really pinpoint it D=
Charcles Dinkons harp I think, unless you mean the horn like thing which sounds like some kind of a boogaloo
Bite me, but i still think MoP was artwise the best WoW has ever been, cause they hit the theme of the expansion in every fuckin way, even SoO somehow fitted into it and was interesting change of style, if it wasnt so big and tedious with its trash.
The mere fact alone, that the game has a zone were the biggest problems (well, for the most part) are rabbits and birds trying to steel your hard earned harvest is just great.
Why did they have to screw up the dungeons... 3 remade vanilla dungeons (and not even good or memorable ones but trash like Scholomance and Scarlet Halls??) instead of a full load of lore wise fitting ones? Even WoD had better dungeons overall.
the begining sounds a bit like a rareware music.
I think its a oboe its a woodwind that uses a double reed and sounds like a duck
Good music, just needed to be a bit different from Jet Li's Hero, melody is nearly the same.
that is very nice music! a lot of Chinese game studios can't even do such good job as Blizzard did I mean for the Chinese culture part ! they just want more income, they never put quality and players at the first place!
دحومي 999
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Mop was rly a not so good expansion experience compared to others previous to it.. at least imo..but its wow and production standards were the same. So its good.
first!
