Thanks Cliff. The Bugout with the Black Alum scales takes the Bugout to a new level. Solid but lightweight scales make the action next level. One of my favorites. Check out my other video on another Bugout mod (ruclips.net/video/BQu1iX7Yv-A/видео.html) and coming soon the mods to a mini bugout instagram.com/p/CBEkikdj24x
The Waypoint has replaced my Delica, mini Crooked River (gold class and regular), and large Sebenza as my daily carry. It sneaks its way into my pocket, even when I try to carry something else. It's the first thing out of my pocket for everything I do on a daily basis. I have to force myself to use anything else. Opening and closing it--the sounds and action are more satisfying than any other knife, including the Sebenza.
Hey love your vids. I have the new drift with thumb studs and absolutely love it. Would like to see what you thought of it. Was wondering if you where thinking about getting it?
Wish I had it! Unfortunately I can’t make the purchase, but I may reach out to some knaf friends to loan me one to review. Glad you’re happy. Think it was the best design change for that model. It’s clear that Quiet Carry takes feedback and keeps evolving already great knives. Other makers should take note. Stay safe well. Mahalo!
Well done review. I had purchased a quiet carry iq and had to return it. It was very hot spotty for me. This one looks perfect. Just got my first Medford so that broke my knife budget for the next month. Going to keep a lookout in the future for the waypoint. Haven't seen anything but positives about it.
I didn't even recognize the Bugout at first glance, honestly I'm not a big fan of the original one due to the scales, but when you showed it I was like "what is this awesome knife"? The custom scales with blue screws and the stonewashed blade make it look absolutely fantastic!
Thanks. Yeah, the black aluminum scales make the Bugout a much better knife. Knivesplus acid wash and Ti screws are Amazing with AWT Aluminum solid feel in hand and it makes deployment super smooth. Also love the G-10 scales I did on another one since they are so lightweight. Check out my Bugout mod video’s. Mahalo and stay well!
Great knives. Not is stock very often but check the site often and register for notifications. Vanax is great. Love the Waypoint and I carry my Drift most days. Especially if it’s raining.
Check out the video I did "3 years later - Bling out Benchmade 940-1 Osborne" I put all the details in the description. Adrian is a great guy. btw, I usually put a bunch of info in the description of all my videos. Stay well. ruclips.net/video/1U2P0STbqnM/видео.html
YES. And with the entire knaf corrosion resilient and that Vanax blade steel, it is the first knaf I would grab to bugout. It's also brings me joy with every flick open and it's a dream to close with the insert. I love this knaf.
awesome collection, the bugout acid/stonewash blade looks great! love the waypoint too
