I keep praying that he'll come to his senses but he ran off to China to teach and I haven't heard from him in 2yrs. He's avoiding me but is still paying for my things in storage. That makes me think maybe he'll come back. Don't know if I want him now though. Who knows what he's been doing over there. Mid-life crisis sucks.

Then she cancelled our next date. There was no reason to do that, neither of us even suggested sex or being tied to a relationship now, it was just a very fun day for both of us. I was on Zoloft for a couple years at that point, but had not been able to get it filled bc of some insurance issue I can't remember. So I was already in a panicky state and didn't feel well bc I had run out of my antidepressant days earlier. I asked him if he wanted a divorce, and he said no. Then he said he was going to the gas station to buy cigarettes, and I got into the shower bc I remember feeling like I was freezing cold. It was completely dark in the bathroom bc I couldn't stand the lights being on, it was like 10 pm. I heard him come home, but then I heard him leave again. When I got out of the shower, he had left a note saying he went to hang out with a friend. For several days he came home for a few minutes, and would leave again for obscure reasons. He couldn't look me in the eye, and I was in a complete panic. I ended up paying out of pocket for a few Zoloft tablets, but it was not much. I think I bought 15, and they were like 1 dollar each out something. I was a stay at home mom at the time, and he screamed at me for wasting money on my meds. He spoke to me in a way he had never spoken to me before and gaslit me for days. Everything was my fault. I even remember my four year old asking why we were talking like that to each other. I remember laying in bed repeating over and over "Dear God, please hold me in your arms" over and over in my head. Watching him move out felt surreal. I would go in my car and scream. I remember laying in my closet screaming his name and crying. 16 days in I found out he met a 21 year old at work, and he moved in with her. Two months in the guy I lost my virginity to in high school came into my life like a knight in shining armor, and we have been together ever since. A few months ago while I was picking my son up from their house, my ex was packing up his car, and they are now separating. Not sure what happened, and I don't care. I have never been happier. I'm off antidepressants, finishing up my nursing degree, and the guy who came back into my life from high school are together now 9 years and getting ready to buy a house. There is a light at the end, guys... and if he left you for another woman, it most likely won't last. If it may not seem like it, but it's for the best.
Finding this 7 months post discard and you put into words my heart. I’m in the stage right now where I am bucking the injustice of it all. Raging at him getting away with it. Rationally I know I’m in a stage of grief but emotionally I do feel this deep sense of anger that my voice has been stolen. That I got no say and it feels like I continue to get no say. I can’t believe how accurate you describe these emotional stages we go through. He walked out on me about 5 months. I was a wreck… went from disbelief to anger to bargaining to sadness and not quite acceptance yet but it’s definitely getting easier. The only thing I couldn’t relate to is crying and laying on the floor. Since he left I’ve slept like a baby, and gained my sanity and strength back.

Thank you very much for your words i feel them cause my husband leftme around a week ago over a text while he is having an stressing reuniting with his family in a country that is in war. He's planning to come back to my country again though not with me. I've started experiencing most if not all of the things you mention and i feel so bad sometimes i can't even be withmyself, i dont eat, i don't get hydrated and everything is a burden. I still have the pressure that when he comes back he will be back home for sometime until he can find a place and i am trying to change all of those things which help in his desicion to leave me (i'm trying to loose, weigth, excercise, work, study, dress better, look better, hang out more with my friends, clean the uncleaneable house, etc) and i feel pressure because i feel it is so difficult for me to cope with that while knowing he has left me and knowing he is destroyed too and the reason that he took that desicion is because he has not grown mature enough, he is psychologically sick, emtionally sick, he is addicted to marihuana, mushrooms etc i don't know how i'm going to cope with all that together

I have thrived.He finally married her and seven years into their marriage he cheated on her with his brothers wife.The grass isn’t always greener on the other side.I’ve never dated or even wanted to.I’m happy by myself

My x took 2 of our 3 kids and alienated them from me on top of it all. He blew up the family to smithereens. Totally split us up and brought them into the middle of everything. They’re lying for him too. I’m disgusted he’s manipulating them and of course, is such a coward that he can’t speak to me and refuses to get along for our 3 kids and their future life events.
I'm going through the same thing with my ex wife. Trust God's Word. Can God lie? He said it He will do it. In the meantime, heal. Go to the gym, eat healthy, learn to play an instrument, a dance, an art, a sport. You can come out of this better than ever. God bless you.

Thank you very much for your words i feel them cause my husband leftme around a week ago over a text while he is having an stressing reuniting with his family in a country that is in war. He's planning to come back to my country again though not with me. I've started experiencing most if not all of the things you mention and i feel so bad sometimes i can't even be withmyself, i dont eat, i don't get hydrated and everything is a burden. I still have the pressure that when he comes back he will be back home for sometime until he can find a place and i am trying to change all of those things which help in his desicion to leave me (i'm trying to loose, weigth, excercise, work, study, dress better, look better, hang out more with my friends, clean the uncleaneable house, etc) and i feel pressure because i feel it is so difficult for me to cope with that while knowing he has left me and knowing he is destroyed too and the reason that he took that desicion is because he has not grown mature enough, he is psychologically sick, emtionally sick, he is addicted to marihuana, mushrooms etc i don't know how i'm going to cope with all that together
