I mean even the game awards had that kid sneak in and literally walk on stage to take the spotlight from the elder ring team that got the game of the year award, so people sneaking into places can't be that difficult from what I've seen.
      Also as a side note the way the dude on the video fake laughs while reading the dms remind me of your typical dramatuber which kinda takes a lot of the seriousness away from whatever he's trying to say... But that's just my personal opinion.

      that said; security isn't a tradie job, or an office job.
      if the job is an event and it goes overtime, that's the event's fault and they have to compensate your company for that, but the event, and therefore the job, _is still ongoing._

      @@KazeShikamaruven with this piece of information, unprofessionalism was still present. Communication is a two way street and that includes communication between organizations and other collective entities. Even if the security company didn't do things properly, it should still be important for VGBC/SWT to properly communicate overtime hours because they were going overtime already. The blame may not 100% be on VGBC/SWT, but they are not blameless.
      And even if the security company was outright terrible, you'd think for an event that would house thousands of people you'd at least make sure you're hiring the correct people for the job. And if the security company is a big issue, then VGBC/SWT should probably mention what security company they hired so other events would not hire them as well. Especially since this is what allowed Technicals to ruin the event and especially if this was the main point of Nintendo saying VGBC/SWT was not following proper "health and safety" guidelines.
      At the end of the day, VGBC/SWT just isn't doing their due diligence both during and after the event.

    i think its funny how Nintendo also said during the statement over smash world tour's cancellation "It’s also important that a partner adheres to brand and IP guidelines and conducts itself according to professional and organizational best practices."
    Basically Nintendo also said that VGBC is a childish company and are very unprofessional. When Nintendo licensed Panda, they were basically saying that this company and its circuit is legit and won't cause any controversy or drama. It's almost poetic seeing the company they didn't license be the one to start drama.
    Another note, I think it's ironic that what Moist Esports/Mogul Moves are trying to do for Smash is EXACTLY what Dr Alan did with Panda. Using their status and money to fund smash. I doubt however Charlie and Ludwig are trying to work with Nintendo. Charlie has like the BIGGEST hateboner towards anything Corporate Nintendo does. Without Nintendo's licenses, I'm sure that any legitimate company (esports team or sponsor) will NEVER work/sponsor a smash event. It's just too much of a risk for them.

    The community is finished. Smash will never go under as long as Nintendo is around and because the characters and game is just that well made and iconic. The competitive community though, as long as it's not RAN by Nintendo themselves, will never make it back and even if it does recover some what, it'll never reach the potential it first was thought to had since smash 4 come through and made it crazy.
    The smash community lost it's biggest home grown creator ever, ZeRo. They lost most of the players with personality that were fun to watch in tournaments and on stream. They lost the best announcer, D1 and the rest of the scene is ran by people whom have 0 business running anything, made people suppress themselves and let outsiders like Moist critical and Ludwig have way more influence than most of the top players have.
    Hell Lowtiergod is a bigger and more entertaining smash streamer because he doesn't give a damn.
    The point is that the smash community will live on because the game is hype and by that alone, an audience will always come out. But as far as being huge like Mk, Sf and Tekken, that automatically off the table until Nintendo comes back around or the community has a huge overhaul

    Funniest bit is they can play dumb to it being you, Tech, or anyone else who is deemed a nuisance bringing light to these issues. Underage drinking? Refer to 2020. Lack of Security? Refer to the Hungrybox Crab incident. Sure it'll look pretty bad not addressing it immediately, but it's still something you can spin a story from and say that it's been a work in progress
    But no, it's obviously nothingburger, god forbid we do something right that could be linked to a guy that says N*****, does controversial skits, and rightly points out hypocrisy

    • @omarhasan03
      @omarhasan03 Год назад +18

      The fact that he was able to show Double Down had no security is the issue. No matter who did it, the issue is bigger than the name. Nintendo can't afford to sponsor events where security is nonexistent. Technicals was just a means to an end. His name is meaningless to Nintendo but his name wasn't the issue anyway. Lacking security is the issue.

    • @carlosrod100
      @carlosrod100 Год назад +1

      The previous video this is related to explains this, how it wasn't Technicals actions themselves, but the way VGBC responded to it that got Nintendo's attention and got them to learn about the situation. Franchise then shows how only like a week after VGBC made the response Nintendo, then claimed the whole health and safety issue.
