You should’ve kept the dagger, almost always lethal and it scales every time you use it
You have to draw it turn one, which isn't a guarantee, otherwise it's a glorified Strike. So no point, really.

@@EclipseShadowScale true, but poison works just as well on things without artifact. I'm not saying the silent is better. I'm just saying there are way more ways to apply posion than the one card the defect has. Its neck and neck for me.
@@moldilocks2904 while I agree, it feels like having to upgrade bouncing flask, plus a higher mana cost can potentially be more detrimental than having a guaranteed shield remover that artifacts can't defend against, y'know?
All these people talking about artifact removal forgetting the watcher has that one card I'm forgetting the name of that just executes beneath like 30hp for 1 mana

I know it's too late to matter. But, the best character for this run is absolutely The Defect, entirely for Melter.

These short videos can be nice sometimes. As such, I'd like to see a modded run where you only start with a Searing Blow, and every node is a campfire (except the guaranteed chests and green key mini-boss, obviously). So the slight bit of randomness is dependent on the few relics from the chests, the boss relics, and the cards from the bosses/ mini-boss.

the silent is abtually one of the better ones here because her poison bypasses block...specifically this is useful for those edge case fights where an enemy starts with a bunch of block...obviously.
