Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started “travel hacking” and taking more trips together and finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and travel hacking over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left January 10, 2016. We started this RUclips channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling. So we extended our 1 year trip to THREE years :) Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before Nate turns 30 (which is March 20, 2019)! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)

The secret is that it's NOT always perfect!!! I wish! Haha but thank you for the compliment. Always remember you're only seeing about 10 minutes of our whole day and it's easy to try to fix it when we have the camera out. You are beautiful❤💁

2 hours to get out and back into the airport would be quite frustrating. Eat all the lounge food! Also, you two are seriously couple goals as you hold hands across the aisle and Kara says "Miss you!" Love that you literally spend 24/7 together and miss each other just being a few feet apart. Never change
Yay! I’ve been patiently waiting for your Bali vlogs to come out!!! I grew up in Indonesia cuz my dad works there as a pilot, and we’ve been to Bali many, many times! It’s a beautiful place! Very touristy though.

Welcome to Indonesia! You might want to consider going to Mount Ijen in Banyuwangi where you can see blue fire and Komodo Island in East Nusa Tenggara. In Bali, consider Seminyak, Canggu, and Ubud. Enjoy!

Bluebird taxi is the light blue taxi and they use a meter. You actually got in a dark blue taxi that do not use meters and are very expensive. I only use bluebird or Gojek car. I live in Perth and we are on the same time as Bali and a lot of Western Australian visit Bali yearly. It’s cheaper than going to the eastern states.

When I was in Bali, there was taxi stanf at the airport where you could get pre-priced taxis to everywhere on the island. No need to worry to get cheated :)

I know this is late, but although Air Asia is Malaysian based, the airline has 2 other operating countries: Thailand and Indonesia (whence the Thailand/Indonesia/Malaysian registered planes)
So essentially, you are travelling on two different country flights. If you were to take Indonesia Air Asia, they would most likely fly you straight to Indonesia/base. But it seems like you took the Thai flight where Bangkok is base. Because Myanmar is not an Air Asia Operating Country Headquarter. So you cant fly to another country without stopping at the base.
Its similar as how you could not fly United from Taipei to Seoul unless you make a pitstop and re-entry in JFK.
What's the reason behind Kara being happy all the time?
She's always travelling to fun and exciting places that's why :)
