We have been following Christian and Katy for awhile now so we were very excited to travel with them in Bali! We road tripped on scooters from Canggu to Ubud, got a little lost, and slept in a beautiful house made of bamboo!

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started “travel hacking” and taking more trips together and finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and travel hacking over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left January 10, 2016. We started this RUclips channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling. So we extended our 1 year trip to THREE years :) Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before Nate turns 30 (which is March 20, 2019)! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)
I’m a Balinese who is living in Java (the neighboring island) and I always get homesick, watching your videos really help me cope with my homesickness! The euphoria when I visit Bali is surreal! And what is really unique about Bali is every where you turn, there will always be some sort of ceremony taking place

I just found your channel through LostLeBlanc and I'm so happy I have! This is an awesome video. Your editing is great! Like on the scooter you used 1 lens and 1 angle but the way you put it all together with a range of shots to the music and the use of speed ramps made it so enjoyable and easy to watch - I hope that makes sense!. I like your personalities too. Keep it up! Can't wait to see more :)
It is nice you two met up with Christian & Katie; I watched lots of their Vlog before I found Nate & Kara. Since lockdown, I was home but enjoy watching these travel channels. Thanks.

As to the mosquito nets -ideally, they should be tucked in at the bottom under the mattress. You can then high five any mosquitoes inside your protected chamber and give the other bugs no way in, not even from underneath.
