I know I’m a year late but I’m so confused. Does the chain 3 count as a stitch or we make 2 more stitches after the chain 3? Helppp!

I'm a beginner :') i wish you could zoom in and go slow so that i could've seen where the hook was going I'm not so good at using knitting terms so i really dnt know what you meant but I'll try to mimic you until i get a hold of it thanks anyways love

Add more rows to the trapezoid part so it goes down longer

5 balls of woolike by loops and threads(weight 1 yarn) which is around 470 grams of weight 1 yarn

Is the Ch30 the standard starting point for all sizes? Or for larger sizes should the starting chain be longer? Like 40?
I’d say that’s a pretty good standard to start for a small/medium/large, anything smaller or larger than that add or take away a few more chains

Hey do I keep on increasing after passing my hips or do I stop increase ones I’m pass the hips and go all the way don’t as normal crocheting?

So I love the dress I just want the bottom of it to be more of a flowy skirt do you have any recommendations on how I should do it
Ok so after u attach the top part at the back, do a couple rows like I show you at the beginning (1-3ish) then you can do some increases throughout for a few rows until you get the looseness that you want, it may take some trial and error but that will give you a fuller skirt. You could check out the end of my ruffle skirt tutorial to see how I do those increases but ya I hope that helps

Nope! But I’m pretty straight up and down. If you do any decreases, try to mark directly on the sides of your waist and do them there

I used a basic weight 4 acrylic, I didn’t find it very hot when I wore it bc it’s so short, and your arms and back are exposed
You can try using a cotton yarn but a soft one

Is the chain 30 for all sizes?
yes chain 30 should work for everyone, but if you think you need more coverage up top (starting at the neck) you could add a couple more! dm me on Instagram If you wanna talk sizing more in depth

Totally love the pattern. I’m at under breast part. Please confirm that, once I’ve joined the 2 sides with chain stitch that I half double crochet on the chain stitches part.

I want to make this for my granddaughter. Her measurements are bust 38, waist 30, hips 37. How many stitches should I cast on?
That is very similar to my measurements, you can probably follow along exactly with the tutorial. Make sure to measure as you go along and increase or decrease as needed! Good luck! I hope she loves it!

No that’s just a turning stitch

Weight 4 acrylic! I had some leftover red heart supersaver but it’s not my favourite to use for clothing, you could use craftsmart value or impeccable by loops and threads for something also cheap but softer

When you started the waist down, did you join then turn ? Or keep going round and round
I just keep going around and around I find that it makes for a cleaner look without a seam

Is there a way to maintain the pattern from the top? I noticed the pattern changed when you went round from the waist.

I love the dress. I tried it but my seams are showing when I connect each round. How did you hide your seems. ❤️
do the seams show on the inside as well? try flipping the dress inside out, that is usually how i hide my seams
