As a Swede, both versions are so beautiful, but the Swedish version, to me, feels more raw, down to earth, more painful and soulful, more like a desperate scream, while the English version feels more pretty and polished, and almost a bit Disney ballad. They just hit differently, but both performances are amazing.

I think this song is performed in Minnesota, USA for residents who originate from Sweden. But if you ask me, this is just a concert and the Swedish one is in a musical so it’s more as a performance and so much better.

It's interesting to note that both the author of the books this musical is based on(Vilhelm Moberg) and the lyrics writer for this song(Björn Ulvaeus) are(or were in Moberg's case R.I.P.) atheists.

Yes! (address below). Food does not have import taxes in Thailand, but things like electronics and clothes do. One time I had to pay 30% of a Kimono cost in taxes when a Japanese subscriber send us one. So if it's not food related let me know the category so I can check online first, as we are short on cash atm to pay import taxes. Thank you! :)

Helen is good. But, unfortunately, English lacks the "expressiveness" that Swedish has when it comes to singing.
