    Close to giving up golf then I found this video and wow it was the eureka moment for me !!! I have a piece of astroturf in the back yard and I spend 10 mins a day hitting a tennis ball off the mat against a wall 🧱 and I'm hitting the ball pure now !! Thanks so much 🙏 best teacher on RUclips by far I can't thank you enough ❤️

      Has hitting the tennis ball really helped you?? I'm looking for a way to practice without having to go to the course or range but never thought about a tennis ball...I guess you can still make changes to your swing and know if your are getting ball first contact! But don't you find it hard when the ball shrinks to a little white one?? 😂 cheers

    Wow....what a timely video. Exactly what I've been working on. This guy is plagued with the same problems I have. As soon as I focus on a backswing that takes the club back straighter, my ball striking improves immediately. But when I go back to my old, inside takeaway habits I am doomed. This guy works out his inside takeaway much better than I do, I'll give him that. I'm a mess when I do it.

    I went from + 11 or + 12 on 9 holes to + 5 doing the things I see you teach in your videos. I wish I lived close enough to see you for some lessons. You’re a great instructor. Specifically I used a takeaway more like you see in this video and focus on my chest and hands looking at each other through the swing (I used to get my hands and arms stuck behind me) and a feeling of my hands staying more in front of me. Makes me feel I can rotate through with less effort. The biggest improvements I saw doing this was with fairway irons.

    Adam, the more of your videos I see , the more I’m impressed with your teaching method and posted videos. Looking at Matt’s swing it reminds me of my backswing and I slays feel mine should be longer, but you seem to approve of his as being acceptable. At 76 I guess I should also accept what I got. Do you think your master class would benefit an older golfer like me.

    Yep makes absolute sense, I've done this drill for months (amongst others) this two piece set and turn backswing drill is easy to achieve if you work on it. However when I go out on course the takeaway goes straight back behind me, I've been try for nearly 30 years to get out of this swing wrecker on a permanent basis.

    Been working on this area myself lately, hence why i am here, i try to keep the club face square going back, but still take it to the inside,but the feeling of the heel first makes such a big difference and it feels it easier to get the club up in the slot👍

    your videos are spectacular .you are a great teacher. I really want to thank you for the transformation of my backswing after I found your channels recently. I have one quick question. Is it the right feeling that my club head hit the ball from heel to toe through my rotation (like a cut )?

    It’s just awesome to hear keep turning your body, I have exactly the same tendency to roll back in step 2 and then I cut the ball. The transition to longer irons or fairway woods confused me as well cause I feel clogged if I’m not rolling flipping my hands.

    Did you work later on his lack of rotation through impact and weight into his lead foot? Looks like he stalls his body at impact and hangs back. He's not getting his trail heel up in the finish. Great job on the take away!

    First 5in are crucial! Why doesn’t anyone else talk about this? It’s always about the downswing. I spent years worrying about the downswing because I was told that the backswing didn’t matter as long as you had a good downswing.

    • @PorzakGolf
      @PorzakGolf  2 года назад

      We work from the ground up! A poor downswing is a symptom of a disconnected swing out of sequence! Get it right from the setup and the downswing will be the easiest part!
