kilju instructions:
= 25 liters water
6kg suger
one bag of yest
3 liters of juice

put sugar in the bottom of the bucket.
add warm water until the sugar has melted. then the juice
add yest, put the lid on, shake the bucket. after 5 days the kilju is done

"Kilju can be produced by fermenting sugar, yeast, and water, but kilju made exclusively from sugar, yeast, and water is illegal in Finland. So, grain, potatoes, fruits[2] or berries are used during fermentation to avoid legal problems and to flavor the drink. Oranges as well as lemons are a popular choice for this purpose."
And 3 liters of orange juice. So in total it's
-25 liters of water
-6Kg of sugar
-One bag of yest
-3 liters of orange juice
Instructions:
1. Pour the sugar to the bottom of the bucket
2. Add hot water and mix until the sugars have leached
3. Add orange juice
4. Pour the yest
5. Put the lid on and shake
6. Ready in 5 days

How to add juice though, if I press F the guy will drink it, if I simply drop it in the bucket it won't do anything, if I lift the bucket up the juice jug will be underneath the bucket and its still full

Just like on the packaging written in Finnish, the average home-brew kilju seems to be 1 yeast first, then 6 sugars, then finally add the water. Wait 4 days. The drunk guy will pay an average batch 130 markka/bottle, or for the well-made kilju, 260 markka/bottle.
999thenewman so 260fmk (Finnish mark) per bottle, the 1 bottle contains let's say 750ml (it's alcoholic after all) the bucket is given 30L. That's it calcs out
You get like 104,000 fmk for all 30L

The Kilju recipe is 25 liters of water,six kilos of sugar,bag of yeast,2-3 liters of juice,pour sugar in the barrel add hot water and mix it as long as it's dissolved,then add juice and yeast,put the lid on and shake,wait 5 days and it's ready

lol, you need to put it somewhere warm, but can't think of anywhere warm... Oh I know, the room NEXT to the sauna, lol.. Umm.. what about the sauna itself!? it's bloody warm in there!
Hey Squirrel! The perfect recipe is: 6 sugar, then water, put the lid on. rotate it, take the lid of and put the yeast in, and at last put on the lid and wait 5 days. you will get about 170 pr bottle!

hey squirrel, I heard that if you go to IP the mechanic and search through his wrecks, you can find some longer travel springs, I'm pretty sure the developer just added them. it should be on the left pile of wrecks.

Recipe says:
25L of water, 6 kg of sugar, one pack of yeast, 2-3 liters of Juice concentrate.
Pour sugar first into the bucket, add hot water and stirr until disolved, add Juice concentrate then yeast. Put lid on and wait for 5 days. Hope this helps.

it's nice that the brewing was added, but i'm disappointed you didn't get the parts and the car in this episode. i've been waiting forever for this! i think you could have afforded the parts and enough material to brew
Kilju How to make 101:
about 25l of water
6 kilos of sugar
1 pack of Yeast
Pour the sugar on the bottom of the 30l Bucket
add hot water and stir untill the sugar has disolved
pour the yeast & put a the lid on and shake (ready in 5 days)

Instructions for kilju:
Water c. 25 L
Sugar c. 6 kg
Instant yeast 1 bag
Juice concentrate 2-3 L
Pour the sugar onto the bottom of a barrel. Add hot water and stir until the sugar has dissolved. Add the juice concentrate. Add the yeast. Seal the barrel with a lid and shake. Ready after 5 days.
Like 10 years ago there was an outrage because one shop was advertising sugar "On niin halpaa, että tekee mieli kiljua" Kiljua= scream and also the drink so the ad was saying "It's so cheap that you want some kilju/want to scream" and it was deemed to be inappropriate to advertise like that.

The secret is: Don't overfill the bucket, like I did. 'Cause the content will run out from the yeast. Now I have to make another batch. ;)
6 sugar and 1 yeast and you can sell to drunk guy for 170 M a juice container. I make it all the time and sell it. Then you can retrieve the empty containers at the dump. Rinse and Repeat. Good money maker. I always have a batch brewing. So my guy is a bootlegger, a poop sucker and a wood chopper as well as the occasional wreck in barn hauler. Jack of all trades.
I'm finnish and since I'm underaged alcohol isn't that easy to get and because I'm eager to try out new things and I like the "do it yourself" nature of it I've made kilju once. Kilju is best if it's clear, cloudy kilju can give you diarrhea, my kilju was black/brown since I added roasted malt for flavor. It tasted like mead/kvass/wine. It was pretty good actually considering it was IMO better than any wine I've tasted and most people throw up from the taste of kilju.
After that with the van clipping through the ramp in the test centre, I really want to see what happens if you try to drive the sewerage truck in there. It probably won't end well, but it should be amusing...

squirrel perfect recipe is 6 bags of sugar and one yeast and cover it with the lead and leave it there for 3-4 ingame days
when i made it i used 1 yeast and 3 sugar. then fill the bucket with water. put the lid on and then let it sit for 4-5 days or when the bucket stops bubbling. The drunk dude said "I'll pay good money for this. it's strong as hell." Look out for moose crossing the highway.

Hmm, a lot of the recipes mentioned here include 2 or 3 litres of the orange juice in place of one of the bags of sugar, and there's at least one mention that the alcoholic guy will pay at least up to 260 marks per bottle for the best stuff. As you're getting 170 marks per bottle for the 6 sugar, no juice version, seems like you could be making an extra 1800 marks per 20-bottle run? Minus however much two or three bottle of juice cost, of course. Might be well worth a try to see if that works.
