Hell YEA.. Still my favorite FF.. Such an amazing, timeless game.
My 2nd. After FFIX. Third is FFVII... FF6-FF12 golden time of FF and gaming IMHO.
I still to this day can’t think of another turn based game that allowed the changing of party members in mid battle except for Persona 5.
I like it because this is the only Final Fantasy that kinda force you to use all characters and their abilities and puts all status ailments into the game that actually impact the battles.
All FF games have these mechanics in them but i rarely use them or find them a challenge in other ff games.
Ffx really makes use of everything it offers.

44:50 when the kids ask if he can teach them to blitz and he says "maybe tonight". The kid in the back says "you can't tonight". I love how they insert such a key character so early

You forgot the destruction sphere in besaid temple, meaning you cannot get anima (strongest aeon in game, aside from yojimbo) without battling dark valefor in the endgame.
Yeah I always get the urge to replay FFX every now and then. One of my favorite FF titles ever. Might have to play this again on Expert Sphere Grid. One thing I always do though, is grind "slayer" and "loner" Overdrive Modes in the very beginning. Makes getting additional overdrives much much easier. I had Blitz Ace really early which made the main game so much more fun.

Your videos came at a perfect time! I've been replaying FFX now that I got off the Steam Summer Sale. Been playing it with mods and it looks amazing! I need to install more mods though, need one to spread AP evenly throughout the party and not have to swap characters all the time
I love how FFX is the masterpiece it is while simultaneously having most of the primary complaints modern gamers have playing old FF games. Turn based, Hallways, Cutscene chasing, mandatory puzzle sections, complex skill and leveling trees…
But I think it does everything so well and gracefully it stands out as a prime example why all these things aren’t bad or aged out, but instead perfectly executed to create a well curated experience.
First game ever to make me cry, and still to this day brings a tear to my eye when I play through it.
FF X is the best game of all time and im replay this masterpiece soon
I played this for the first time recently and got the platinum. The first 55 hours was amazing but the next 65 hours of grinding the sphere grid and Blitzball for trophies was a pain in the ass
The grind is worth it though. The Dark Aeons and Penance were amazing super boss fights.
@@bigtatsu I got the trophy for killing Penance once I killed a wasp in the calm lands. So I didn’t have to fight the dark aeons and penance for the platinum. I didn’t fight them after the platinum trophy popped though and one-shotted everything with Yojimbo.

Wishing there was a save point and not a bench is not trivial. Beautiful looking save points is one part that made Final Fantasy beautiful
FFX and FFX-2 and FF13 Trilogy need remakes and rebirths like FF7. Best FF casts and best looking casts FF7 and FF10 and FF13. The other FF casts are just okay.
FF13s cast is atrocious tbh, imo lol. I cant stand any of them. The literal oppositie of FF7.

3) FFX
4) FFIX
5) FFVII

Best Final Fantasy game ever. I don’t need an FF7R style remake of this, just give me the exact same game but just with modern graphics and I’ll die a happy man.
Exactly. I'm thinking more of a shadow of the colossus style remake. Where it's the exact same game, down to the physics, but with modern graphics and a few extra/new Easter eggs/collectables/chests/etc

For whatever reason ffx is one of my least favorite in the series. I know a lot of people love it but I grew up on the PS1 era of FF and it just didn’t quite hit the same. Still a good game though.
I felt the same when I played it as a young adult. Now as an old adult, I absolutely love FFX!

FFX is still without a doubt the best Entry Level Final Fantasy. Well ff7 remake is better in terms lf mainstream appeal but FF7 remakes are not cl.plete so it aint realy a complete psckage
