  • See how total clutch control works even while riding with a passenger in confined spaces making u turns of 18 feet, u turns from a stop and motorcycle cone weaves. There is no need to Preload your throttle with high rpms while placing unnecessary wear and tear on your clutch plates, brakes and rotors. Learn to have total control of your motorcycles clutch in the friction zone and change the way you ride your motorcycle all together. Riding with a passenger on a motorcycle can be dangerous if you do not have the skills to control your motorcycle. If you ride with a passenger on your motorcycle it is your responsibility to ensure their safety to the fullest extent. Motorcycle Training is crucial to you and your passengers safety out on the roads while riding. Practice your slow speed motorcycle skills, and learn how to brake on your motorcycle while riding with a passenger. Professional motorcyclists train and so should you. Whether it's a 2024 Harley Davidson CVO ST or a small Harley Davidson motorcycle training is important to every rider and passenger's safety. Dropping your motorcycle can be easily resolved with the use of motorcycle drop guards to protect your motorcycle.

    You have to be using trick photography - there is no way you can do a 2 up 18’ keyhole without dragging the rear brake and RPMs above 2000 rpm. I am a certified You Tube motorcycle instructor and I know. LOL….J/K. Great video Jay. Great explanation of the “why” of training TCC. I hope to see more soon.

    Dear Sir, Thank you for your videos and lessons, i love the technique of total clutch control. Nowadays I drive a bmw R18, a real heavy bike, love it ! But with just the clutch the bike drives to irregurlarly (bucking) so a bit of pre load or simultanious throtyle while rleaeing the clutch seems nevessary. What is your opinion sr when I decsribe the trouble i have to rely just on clutch?

    Are you keeping the clutch in the grey zone? Great video.

    • @motorofficertraining
      @motorofficertraining  5 месяцев назад

      When I am using the clutch only for slow speeds I work it from the grey and use it for a push of momentum. This is not how you want to ride at all times using just the clutch, you want to use the clutch with proper throttle engagement. As your control increases with those 2, your speed will pick up and then when you start applying the rear brake as needed everything works together smoothly and without the wear and tear because you have developed your clutch and throttle control well beyond what most do trying to use all 3 from the start.

    • @motorofficertraining

      @@eugeniustheodidactus8890 No there was sufficient power, but the traction was lost as happens in cone riding and you hit a cone in a lean at the right angle.

      I had the same thing happen with mine the first time I trained with Jay, it was a bit concerning but the bike seemed to adjusted its own idle based on the load without the clutch. Now it’s completely reliable when I get into those dead end situations that I need to preform a tight u-turn, and bike is an older model with a carburetor.
