I was pondering this as I made chocolates to take out with me tomorrow. I’m not sure it makes me more charismatic, but being invited somewhere and replying with ‘I’ll make chocolates’ always brings lots of oohs and ahs of delight! There’s something magical (charismatic?) about creating something for others, rather than just buying it I think. Plus... who doesn’t love a tempting truffle?!
I am always trying to remind myself to listen. I'm a natural "talker" so slowing down in conversation and reminding myself to really listen always helps me and usually leads to a genuine connection :)
Wow! Just wow! I found this concise outline super helpful on a couple of professional levels. For my 'day job' I'm creating training decks for a mentoring team and I envision this info being a huge asset for staff functioning in a mentoring role + a skill set for mentors to cascade downstream. Also, I'm working on my side hustle, and my see adding this to my marketing profile + some elements that can be incorporated into my own project's design! I'm all about connectivity and engagement. Thank you!
I feel like optimism and communicating in the positive is probably the strongest takeaway. That said, each element seems interconnected to the other elements. 🙂
For me, listening will be easy, because I don't like to talk a lot. Also, I try to be optimistic. For instance, my job requires me to be on the road a lot. So when it's raining, I always say: "Better rain than snow", because being on the road all the time, snow is my biggest ennemy. So, nice weather is of course always better, but rain is also always better than snow.
"Charisma can be fun and easy if you allow it to be." So true!! One of my favorite things you always say is 'let it be easyyy'
I love to have people talk about themselves and listen because it's such a great way to build that relationship. Great video Susie!

Smiling, listening and being optimistic draws me to others faster than anything else.

So true listening is so important! People feel like they know you better when you listen to them
