I celebrate his birthday every year because we have the same birthday. Always makes me incredibly sad when I think about what projects he could be doing now.
Timaris I really enjoyed your work and the care that you put into it. Thank you so much. Alan was larger than life and to lose him left an empty place both in the entertainment world and my heart.
I love the scene with Johnny Depp from the Barber of Seville. Their voices singing during the shave has you holding your breath waiting for the razor to slip!
One thing though, what movie is the infamous door slamming scene from? Each time timeit happens I think I have it but it slips away.

I watched lots of his interviews and some behind the scenes and noticed that he was spmetimes rude to people, that's all I said. And so? You really think that if you adore some actor, other ppl can't have their own opinions?

no, he wouldn't have watched it. he was "afraid" of youtube (almost never clicked on it) and he hated watching himself (he said that many times). but if finally persuaded to watch it, he would have probably been impressed by the hard work and dedication put in this video. he would have smiled gently, lowered his eyes and said smth like: "i did nothing, it's entirely the merit of the editor, scriptwriter, director, cleaning lady, ...... etc etc. not my merit. "
well, this is what i think based on all the interviews of him that i watched. whenever someone praised him, he was uneasy and tried to change the subject.

I realize that your comment was made 2 years ago but if you have not seen “Rasputin: Dark Servant Of Destiny” ( which was not shown in this video) you should try to. He won a best actor Emmy for that performance. The entire film can be seen on RUclips. Another one that you can see (if you have not done so already) on RUclips is “Murder Obliquely- Fallen Angels” He looks very sexy in that one. I’m also curious to know which of the films shown in this video you still have not seen.

Sir alan rickman was part on my therapy..the thing is my father died few months ago from cancer.. and i discoverred alan rickman in the same week of his death.. As severus Snape..
I thought of him as beautiful human being just like my father .. then i discoverred he is actually dead.. and from cancer too.. 💔💔 .. So now i am trying not to miss both of them because it is very very painful.. 💔

This is definitely the best compilation I've ever seen of the amazing Alan Rickman - probably of anyone. NO ONE can match his ability to show character and expressions with his face. In in a 15 second scene he could get away with at least 5 effective facial expressions masterfully (see especially Sense and Sensibility) This video does both things you intended. Makes me laugh (especially the slamming door sceen from The Search for John Gissing) and cry just because I miss and love him so much.

I met him. He was nice enough to sign EVERYONE’S Playbill after the play “Seminar”. It was quite thrilling seeing him in person. It’s a memory I will cherish for the rest of my life.
