I'm liking this idea. I have a lot of yarn I inherited and there's not enough in one color to make anything. This will work for all of it. Thanks for this great idea.
I once made an afghan out of all the scraps of yarn from the items I made for my girls. The girls would point out the yarn I used for their items. They all really like my scrap afghan.
Radical idea. You can mix fabric and crochet in a crazy quilt fashion. I would recommend using cotton yarn scraps for ironing the seams flat. Or simply sew fabric onto crochet squares or vice versa leaving raw fabric ends. If you start thinking and doing, the ways are endless.
Darlene! I couldn’t love this idea any more! I too love to crochet so very much h and often make up my own patterns. I have one in process from my scraps that is just granny squares of all sizes that I have sewn together. Going to be really pretty whenever it is done! Love the idea of the black border like stained glass or mosaic Hi from SC!💕😊🏝️🧶
Hi Darlene, I am trying to learn how to crochet finally. You have so many great ideas for crocheting! I know that you are probably the smartest businesswoman out there, and so I have a serious question for you ok. When my neighbor passed away last year, he left me with tons of beanie babies. His wife used to collect them, but when she passed, he gave them to me. I have no idea how to sell them. Do you? thank you!
You could try selling them on eBay, but it’s hit or miss there. There might be some groups on Facebook to sell them. You can also try marketplace. Look them up first to see what they might be selling for. You could have some gems in the mix,
@@darlene.michaud thanks! I did try all that you mentioned. I really think they are worth a lot, but in today's world everyone wants to help sell them for me, but who can you really trust right? I've had people even say that I should just give them to them to sell and I almost choked when they said that! I would never see them again or any money! thanks again and I have my yarn ready to learn how to crochet!
Yes, I am that gal. I have two playlists in the description of my videos. Please start there because they probably answer every question you have in those videos. If you’re unsure of how to start, do this. Start immediately. When you are hungry, eat meat until you are full. Drink water when you are thirsty. Rinse and repeat.

I like no hard thinking projects that keep my hands busy. This is great.
Very cool idea. I don’t crochet, but I love to watch it. Crazy right? Love the idea of black borders for a “stained glass” effect!
I've done this. Using all my little balls of yarn. They turn out terrific.
I need to go check my yarn downstairs. I always like crocheting in the colder months.
I like that idea Darlene! Your creativity rocks! 😊thnku
I’m excited about this scrappy sampler afghan idea!
I love crocheting but haven't done it for a while. You made me want to get started using all my yarn. Thanks!!!

You really put the fun and creativity back into crochet and quilting ❤❤❤❤
You made my night with that comment! Thank you!

Hi from SC!💕😊🏝️🧶
I buy most of my scrap at thrift stores. Good deals and fun stuff.
I need to start going back to my thrift store. Not too much craft stuff there. But I could buy cheap sweaters and unravel them!
Oh I like this Darlene! I have left over pieces of yarn to use up. Thank you!
This is gonna be a lot of fun. Thanks
I love this idea I am going to do this with you
Hay I am so exited!
Have you seen the big skeins of yarn from Dollar Tree? $5 I bought a white one to use for borders. I love ❤️ this idea 💡
